Indian Army attacked Golden Temple and around 7000 - 10,000 people were k!lled in June 1984. Later in November 1984, Sikh Genocide took place and about 30,000 Sikhs were k!lled in 3 days. Thousands of Sikhs took refuge in US, Canada and other European countries. I see you're a Canadian, and you must have seen how many Sikhs have been there since 1980's. Thanks for coming. @@KeithandDevthey won't tell you that these sikhs have killed thousands of indian in 1970 to 1980s. They literally burnt hindus in buses. They are more radical then talibani. Just look at canada , how many crimes they arr committed. You won't find hindus committing crimes in canada. They gave free food just to create a soft power among white people.

In British India wrong information was given to British Military that Freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and his followers going to attack British army soon British Army defended themselves and as regrading 1984 no such called Sikh Genocide happened it was just Muslims Hindus Sikhs hatred towards each other. Many people died as mentioned above not as many that was mention by some commenters

Sikhism came into existence because of wide spread caste based discrimination and inequality among the people. Sikhism founder Shri Guru Nanak Dev fought against inequality and divisions among the society. Equality, sharing and protecting others are main pillars of Sikhi Shri Darbar Sahib(Golden temple) is living example of Sikh values.

when India was being invaded one after another by outsiders in ancient times it was the Punjab, now divided between India and Pakistan which took the most beating. because of gen*cides one after the other it gave birth to the warrior community called Sikh. they have saved millions of Indians specially women. they are a big reason that present day India not an Islamic country.

      Don’t always show your seperiority
      Go and study the history
Of Maharana Pratap and Prithiviraj Chauhan
and Punjab is not the personal property of Sikhs

@@KeithandDev You got the Facts wrong though. People who collected in the jalianwala bhag were not "protesters", they were just there to celebrate the festival of baisakhi which is basically their new Year. So yes, they were there just there for "New year celebration". But a few days before one british lady was attacked in Amritsar by some revolutionaries and though she was saved by other Indians, the british declared that the street where she was attacked is now off limits to Indians and Indians had to CRAWL on their belly if they wanted to use that road. And the entire city was declared under Curfew. So when people collected to celebrate the new year, they were shot dead to remind people of the superiority of the british race.

Thanks for spreading Guru Nanak’s word. Guru Nanak’s philosophy is the best way forward for India & the world because he believes in the brotherhood of the whole humanity irrespective of gender, creed, religion, economic background, caste, language, ethnicity. The Golden Temple has got 4 Doors to signify that people from all 4 varnas are welcome. Whether they are Upper Castes, OBC, SC, ST, Tribals, Dalits, Untouchables, Male, Female, LGBT, Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Atheist all are equally welcome. No special or preferential treatment to anyone.
All of them do regularly fan, anyone male, female, LGBT low caste high caste tribal untouchable Dalit OBC anyone can fan & read from Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Anyone can lead the congregation, anyone can do Ardass, lead the Ardass (prayers). Infact nearly 100% of Granthis in Sikh Gurudwara’s are so called Dalits & Untouchables

during the British Raj 200 million to 250 million people Indians were killed. most of them killed by artificially engineered famines others were killed directly. before leaving they did partition of India which cost more than 1 million lives, created an almost permanent enemy for india and gave the power to their agents which became government of India. then that government gave away 120000 sqm of more India's land to neighbouring countries like it was their own properties. they also made the highly Indian distorted history written by British of India as official one and continued British education system which was designed to control the population without trying to revive ancient Indian education system which focused on raising human consciousness like no other culture ever had. puppet Indian govts over the years sent India's wealth Britain and to their bank accounts in Europe which in the past decade have changed drastically in india and first time it is looking like a nation which is trying to break the shackles.
