From plant powers to ice powers, she's a total badass. They got Iceman from X-men with fire powers in The Boys now, too. All of the elemental superhero actors just go in circles.
In my humble opinion Kf is born out of the anger and stress hormone, so once she fully gained consciousness all she knew and felt was protecting her own body / caitlin in a twisted way Anger and adrenaline, probably why she’s so powerful especially in the beginning. Having a 24/7 adrenaline boost is powerful, however because at the beginning of her own beginning her consciousness wasn’t strong enough to be on her own So once KF took over, caitlin’s memories are hers now and some knowledge too, however in S2 KF and S3 “future” KF Both of them grew up and left caitlin fully something like that

She was meant to achieve great things but low key they dulled her powers after season 3 and a bit of season 4 (before she lost her ice). Okay they could have made her good but still feared and powerful and where is the cool looking eyes and voice. The writers seriously fucked up with frost
