This was an Absolutely Amazing Video for Khione a Fantastic New Character for The Flash’s 9th and Final Season and Danielle Panabaker did a Phenomenal Performance.
For Khione who is the goddess of snow/ice, her other powers just seem unnecessary to her character. Her godlike ice/snow abilities we’re already good enough at the beginning, I never understood where the nature abilities came from in the first place, even though Caitlin was literally put into a cyro machine. Doesn’t make sense to me.
I think they just wanted to reference Layla somehow without making it too obvious and making something new, but their writing is just too bad for achieving that.
Thats the thing about Greak gods and goddesses. Their divinity may be for a single thing but they are still capable of unafiliated feats of magic and miracles. Demeter is responsible for winter. Poseidon grants shapeshifting powers to heros he likes. Athenas curses are a force to be reckoned with. Hera intentionally had a virgin birth. Zues gestated a fetus in his thigh. Dionysus had a knack for biological transmutation. And every god has a say in the weather.
Interesting idea, but no time to develop her. She feels like if Danielle Panabaker's Sky High character leveled up after 20 years and got a little bit too distant from humanity.
This was an extraordinary character. I am really hoping for an Arrowverse movie or 2 or 3. The culmination of all the Arrowverse spinoffs, if you will, was the longest running Superhero series of all time. They shall be missed.

I feel like with all the stuff going on in the DCEU the rushed things. Khione and the epic villain team up deserved a lot more time than they gave them.

Gag is, ALL of Caitlins's powers comes from within since she was a Meta w/o the accelerator incident.
i watched the flash until season 5 before it got meh for me. watched it for killer frost/caitlin. just discovered Khione. that was a good character but they couldve gave her character a justice.
She was such a fantastic character. If only Eric wasn't the showrunner this wouldnhave been amazing. He had some untold issues with caitlin i think cause what he did to her character while creating khione is just too awful which made us not like khione as much but khione is fantastic. It was the flash writers who were idiots. I hated how they just killed caitlin and made it seem like nothing happened. The team was all just okay with it, which sucked so much.
