They should have made red death more like the comics that would be 100x better, with bats coming out when he's running instead of the lightning. It would actually be an unique speedster. And his actual powers, where anyone the bats touches dies from aging in seconds. Although it would be too op for a show like this.

The writers literally don’t care anymore.
In season 2 speedsters could only throw lighting by building up enough speed by running, and when they threw lighting they used to remain stationary, now they can throw lighting on command, wether while they’re running or they can just throw lighting while standing completely still without having to build up enough speed. Now even worst you have ridiculous stuff like Barry’s speed force shield and Red Death’s lighting grapple, like not to mention the fact that they can literally generate anything out of their lighting now. I didn’t know I was watching black lighting on steroids.💀

Funny is… In comic, it was Bruce Wayne who defeated Flash and attached him to his Batmobile with a chin, he drive so fast both of them, Bruce and Barry end up getting melted from muscles body to skeleton body to dust, then BOOM! That’s how Red Death was born. He was also recruited by Batman who laugh.
I feel like Red Death should've been Oliver Queen. Like if Oliver Queen lost his mind after losing everything he love and will ask Flash to give him super force but Flash refused, that’s what make Oliver snapped out and attack him while Flash didn’t want to hurt him until in the end, Oliver managed to defeat Flash and give Flash a worse fate as Bruce does to Flash.
I would expect Oliver to say the lines like **My hope is stealing your power so I can make everything better unlike you, I will give no mercy to someone who don’t deserve to kill for taking the lives of innocent** before end killing himself and Barry at once to become Red Rush, let’s just say Red Rush is not exactly villain just rather broken hero who thought he did right thing but end up making everything worse and doesn’t realize what he did was wrong.
It should be interesting and dope plot but oh well.

Problem with CW shows is that they don't always have the rights to use certain characters. Its why Supergirl was a show way before the live action Superman. Its also why they made a show about Batwoman instead of batman. Sadly, its part writing and part what they're allowed to do story wise.
Plus Red Death was so hyped for me. Even the scenes with the lightning shield batarangs and grapple? Can you imagine if they made lightning Nunchucks now it can be ridiculous but it can be also be so awesome!

Its supposed to look more cinematic I think. Thats also why they're doing the shorter aspect ratio now to make it look more movie like but it just doesn't work because the cw logo is still there and its literally cut off from the screen
She had an amazing opening 😊 and her voice really terrifying
Last clip was a pretty decent fight. I definitely miss the dynamic citywide shots that follow them fighting as they run around. Shield and lasso are weird additions. Heaps better than speedsters just standing around blasting lightning waves and lightsabers lol

i like the voice but the red death should’ve been bruce wayne or some kind of darkness that worshipped the batman and flash and then the red death was born it controlled someone to create the armor like when she took her helmet off and it was empty the red death could’ve been almost creepier than zoom in a way

I know a lot of people hate this CW version but honestly, I like some things about this version. The problem is James Gunn. He wants the end of this show, so, there will no be a season 10, that's why, the character has been beaten so easily. Unfortunately, it's not Bruce Wayne but Batwoman but it's not a matter to me.

I’m gonna go ahead and say it right now Speedster Villians are 10 times better then the non ones. And also you may hate Batwoman and other shows but the good thing about Arrow Flash Supergirl Legends Black Lightning and Batwoman they do a way better setting connected and established universe then the actual movies tried to do since Man of Steel.

I'm going to say this. Red Death would've ended this final season with a bang if they did this. First introduce colbat blue, have two episodes of him, while hinting Red death. Episode three. Have team Batwoman contact team flash to help find Ryan, who was kidnap by an evil speedster (red death). Have the whole season be about finding Ryan, and trying to stop Red death. Have Red Death up the scale by being better than Godspeed and Zoom. Have Red Death kill more innocent (like how they said in the future in season5?) Now, the last four episodes. Have it be revealed that Thawne was the one who put this in Ryan mind that during the reverse flashpoint timeline, that Barry did something to that Ryan to cause her to turn evil. Which leads to Red death coming to this timeline, to kill Barry.
Have an epic flash war with Savitar, Zoom, Reverse Flash, Godspeed and Thawne. Verus, Nora, Bart, Barry, Jay Garrick, and Wally to have an epic flash war. Which leads to the two last episodes, the fight is wrapping up, and they finally Ryan who help defeat Red Death. Now the fight so epic, that it destroys reverse flash and Flash suit. Thawne escapes, for one last showdown, which leads to season 1. The epic fight on Barry chasing reverse flash.
Idk this is just the top of my head.
I think they should've done The Batwoman Who Laughs.

The glazing thats going on in this comment section is crazy. She was a terrible villain the red death costume was two boxy she lasted about maybe 5 episodes her wig was abysmal and every single line was herrendously corny. She talked about this alternate timeline yet we never got to see it. I don't understand why Oliver wasn't red death it would've made more sense in context of the show and they could've just went with the original red death origin story.

Her line delivery was so corny. Oliver should've been red death and they should've just gotten rid of the bat on the chest or found a way to make it fit the arrow theme. It would've made much more sense in the context of the show and they would've been able to do red deaths original origin instead of this terribly written origin story that we didn't even get to see imagine we got a shot of the alternate reality oliver strapping Barry to a "batmobile" like they did in the comics and forcing him into the speedforce so much missed oppurtunities

I Absolutely Loved Red Death in The Flash. Sure it wasn’t The Red Death Everyone Wanted. But Javicia Leslie did a fantastic performance even that Modified Voice was terrifying it really reminded me of Tony Todd’s Legendary Demonic Zoom Voice. I’m hoping she appears one more time before this season ends.
She was great for the first three episodes and then I feel like when episode 4 hit she became a cry baby in my opinion

We have 2 Big Bads this season. Red Death, was one of them and her story's done so she isn't appearing again this season.
The other one is cobalt blue, also OG villians such as zoom, savitar, reverse flash are coming back (yes i'm not joking all together). Red death as main antagonist would be bad imo for final season.

I was honestly disappointed by Red Death. It felt super rushed, her acting was stiiiiiffff, her costume looked stiff and she was so short compared to everyone including her comic book reference. The best part was the first and second appearance and the OST in my opinion. I ecpected more from The Red Death.

I showed my Brother that little 4 second scene, with out showing him her identity and he first response was "They made the Red Death a black cheek??" god they should've gotten Iain Glen(Titans Batman) to play him. Or, God Rest em' If Kevin Conroy was alive he would've killed it.
This is supposed to be a Batman/Flash hybrid, in a suit that should favor both martial arts and high speed running. But the acting in the suit (whether by Javicia Leslie or whoever else is in the suit) is so stiff. Her voice unfortunately has to carry most of the character because the body (and the rushed story arc) isn't doing it.

I honestly don't care about what people say. I enjoyed this version of Red Death. She also used her electricity to create constructs, which got the same shape as Batwoman's tools.
The only issue I got is...why bring Grodd on this matter? Anyway, it was nice to see Red Death at least once in live action!
