Here's my opinion on this "Minecraft 100 days" thing. I'd like to say a few (a lot) things about this. Firstly, the originality, Luke the notable was very creative to have made this and continued with it, other RUclipsrs started doing it as well, there were no problems untill there were to many, in 2020 and 2021, RUclips has been recommending me these 100 Minecraft days and every where I go to look at Minecraft content there would always be one, probably just me? Secondly, the thumbnails, some thumbnails for 100 Minecraft days are just uncreative, when you see Minecraft 100 days videos and each one of them have a few things in common to their thumbnails it becomes kinda stale. Thirdly, the commentary, Luke the notable did a great job with his commentary, basic, simple, understandable, now the commentary for 100 days videos are so boring, the voice is important to catch the ears of the viewers. Fourthly, the play style, every Minecrafter has their own play style, as far as I've seen, no 100 Minecraft days has ever included every players play style, I'm talking specifically about combat, redstone and building, most 100 Minecraft days are combat focused or building focused, I like building and redstone so most of these 100 Minecraft days I just quickly skip through unless I see some building or redstoning. There was that one video called "100 Minecraft days as an engineer in a apocalyptic world", I was quite curious to see the redstone and building but at last there were little. Lastly, surviving or storytelling? These 100 Minecraft days videos are quite confusing, in the title they say surviving and yet the whole video feels like a story than surviving, then the storytelling is suddenly surviving, like it hurts my brain cells in so many ways.
Ayo this is a NICE video, I appreciate the courage to explain how hard this content was, and this has completely changed my perspective on 100 days stuff. Mad respect to you Eggy man!
Because alot do hardcore and die or forget to get enchanted diamond armor and fight parasites. Or worst play around with bloodmoons. The oddest one is adding way to many mods. It is fun to play but super confusing to keep it straight what mod does what and not die form the complexity or odd combo mobs. This is a comment from the viewer side. Love your video well done. Sorry you had to play the game so long to have a high quality video. There is alot of down time in game play. Traveling, resource gathering, or even searching for Pacific mobs or bosses. I used to like 100 days format in other games, because it's shows progression of the game in a bitesize video, compared to doing it myself. But each time, they want to implement the actual story of the game (like Subnautica), where all I care is what the actual person is doing. Then, the commentator keeps pretending he doesn't know the outcome to stuff despite doing it himself and already been done with it. It's frustrating. I wish they'd just be honest and stop implementing the story.
