One of thee best live acts Britain ever produced. It still blows my mind it took people 3 records in to see how unbelievable The Verve really are. Inwas in love and thought they were sure to reach the very top after hearing Slide Away.
Oh hey, I was there! Just off on the left side of the stage. I'd never heard of them before but Richard Ashcroft was mesmerizing to watch and caught my eye as I was looking around the booths and stuff. Very glad I caught them!
What an incredible setlist. Dedicated fans rave about the Northern Soul era or the Storm in Heaven sets. But this in-between period of 1994 delivers some of the most remarkable liver performances and tracks you don't typically hear them do live. Thanks for the upload. Let the damage begin!
Me flipa el hecho de que Rolling people ya existiese como canción desde 1994 y que aún la metiesen en urban hymns y no en northern soul. La cantidad de canciones que deberían tener estos es alucinante.

Same here....Oasis/Blur were never on my radar back in 93/94/95 in terms of who was likely to explode in popularity.

you could say that about so many acts... Love , MC5 , ....
Gravity grave is just epic! That rolling bass and Nick's wizardry on the guitar make it an endless groove of rock delight!👏

Do you have any of their Lalla 94 Detroit recordings? They played their 4 times in 94
@FloytronMusic - how did you end up with so many great recordings?
Recording real good but sounds a bit slow
Must have been incredible to watch this in ‘94. Good old days of Colorado before all the Californians came in and made this state Woke
Yeah Richard hates woke assholes too. He always says it in his live solo gigs. It really pisses him off how soft and weak we've become
@@matthewjdouglas6471 incredibly brave and courageous reply to stand up to me like that. Must give you an enormous sense of self-confidence
@@TheSunTheSea what are you talking about. I agreed with what you said. Or are you woke? I'm totally confused
@@TheSunTheSea how was i standing up to you?? Are you OK???
@@matthewjdouglas6471 sorry man thought you were being sarcastic with me 🤣 no I’m definitely not woke
Yeah that’s the best Verve set list ever. Nice one!
