This is a simply stunning watch! Been eyeing this particular model for some time now. Thanks for the video Teddy!

It is one of the best looking pieces they make in my opinion. Love the 7001 movement too. Thanks for watching, Chris!

Beautiful piece! This would be a no-brainer if it had sapphire crystal. The design, proportions, and details are just right.

According to the Junghans website, this can be ordered in sapphire.

@@BushStig my pleasure. I find this watch a beauty too, whether in sapphire or hesalite.

There is the junghans meister handaufzug terrassenbau that features sapphire and looks sick as heck to be honest. But the price is difficult to swallow.

I want to purchase at your store Teddy but I cant bring myself to pay full retail when its $400 less on Joma...

    • @tyt5216
      @tyt5216 2 года назад

Jomashop is not an authorized dealer if my memory's right, so it's a whole different thing from his shop which is an authorized dealer.

@@tyt5216 which basically just means you get the manufacturer warranty. That's it. $400 for a manufacturer warranty is not a great deal to most people. Joma still give you a warranty too, just their own. Plus this piece is now on sale for $500 anyhow at other AD'S a mega saving

The anthracite version has tempted me time and again but I fear it won’t get the wrist time such a cool watch deserves. Great point on the movement and caseback but would have loved to hear more about the plexiglas as I’m unfamiliar with it and that worries me as well.

    • @tyt5216

I own several vintage watches and they all have plexiglass. As long as you handle the watch with care (and that's how dress watches are supposed to be handled as well), you have nothing to be scared of imo. :)

Agreed on the most interesting version and lack of wrist time! But less time worn means plexi less of a concern…

Unusual to see the inside of a wind up watch before, it’s something different that makes a change from automatic watches that have this as a standard feature, it’s a shame it’s not 34mm in width, as liked the colour and the second hand.

Great looking watch. Is the lug width 18 or 20 though?

Actually I wanted to buy a Max Bill, but I really like the exhibition display on the back of that Meister Handaufzug 🤔

I love blue dials, my first watch was a quartz stauer, so I love almost an watch with a blue dial

  • @sportsracer5

That small seconds, how it's sunk down into the dial, looks great. And yes, traditional dress watches do seem to be a dying breed. This one, though, feels to me that it has a slight "sport" vibe to it... can't really put my finger on it. Maybe it's the crystal? Not sure. But it's super nice.

I think Junghans does the touch of modern with the dress watches well. It feels of this era and when combined with the blue here I think it leads to it being a bit sporty.

Could you include more close up video footage in your reviews? It’s hard to judge what it will look like when you can’t see it for long close up on video (rather than the stills).

Teddy @ 00:30 lug width 18mm... @01:50 lug width 20mm? What gives? Absolutely beautiful watch though!

You made a mistake with the lug width on the spec sheet at the beginning. Should be 20mm not 18mm.
