Going to my first RCIA session today! Grew up Catholic but I never got to complete the other sacraments, time to officially enter the Catholic Church
Great to hear. Although if you are baptized in the Catholic Church you are technically already Catholic! It’s just time for you to enter deeper into the faith and receive Confirmation and of course go to confession.
Praying for you
Just shared to my telegram and other social media. God is working through you brother
Fantastic job! I entered RCIA a little over a month ago. All glory to God! Ave Maria, Deus Vult!
Isaiah 53 always gets me 🥲😭 Jesus I trust In You 🇻🇦✝️🙏⛪️
Good work dwong, the Talmud is a great resource for early Christianity that most apologists don't utilize
One think I didn't know about is the miracle of the crimson thread. Incredible indeed that the miracle stops happening around the Passion.

Thank you so much! God bless

Amazing video dwong. God bless! ❤️🔥

Great job 👏
God bless you man, I was in a really big doubt if i should convert to orthodoxy and you helped me a lot to remain catholic 🙏. Do you plan to do any videos about sedevacantism in the future? I disagree with them but think many points are valid and it would be a great service debunking their position
Great to hear man, praise God! I might do anti-sedevacantist arguments in the future. I would need to research more in depth!
Amazing video! Loved it!
Thank you for this video, dwong. You are serving God.
You’re welcome. Thank you for your support
Just finished the video. One of the if not the best videos on the Talmud I’ve ever seen. The Holy Spirit is clearly working through this man, I trust this video will bring many to Christ’s church! God bless you Dwong, another job well done!
Another epic deep dive.
All hail the Lord Jesus Christ the ever reigning King.
Wonderful. Not only those are miracles from God that disprove judaism, but they are also historical miracles God used against judaism we can still use against atheism... the fact that these people, who were against Christ, and disbelieved in Christ are saying that 40 times in a row the ritual they used to practice is failing is proving that God did interfere in their rituals and thus that Christ is God and God exists.
Yes, this is good evidence against atheism as well, as this proof does not have Christian bias. It is an admission on the side of the Jews who rejected Christ, so they have no reason to try to fabricate evidence to support Catholic claims.
Great 🎉work!
Huh. Mary as Patroness of Hairdressers is an interesting historical implication. Assuming "Miriam, who braided women's hair" means that
this video is extremely underrated, you're a very smart lad. Keep up the amazing content!
PD: when will we have back the videos about the filioque?
Thanks for the kind compliment!
2 out of 3 of the Filioque videos are back up! I still need to work on the third one, I have been focusing my time elsewhere.
As a jew who does not believe in Jesus I can say you did excellent research on your sources. I studied 1.5 years in a yeshiva and I can say that only people who went to yeshivas/ are rabbis have even heard of the people/books you quoted.
Thanks for your kind comment. Christ is calling you home brother ❤
Nice video ✝️🇻🇦
Based courageous hero filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit!
I was waiting for something like:
Sukkot 513 g: and the leader of the Christians was simon, renamed cephas, who set up a priesthood against the temple.
Most of this I've heard from protestants and the section on the eucharist is not agreed on by rabbis. It's an opinion on sacrifice following the messianic age.
Can you do a video that discusses if the Law is abrogated or annulled right now according to Catholicism? I have a feeling that it is much more complex than people assume it is.
Please write a book on this!!!
Will you do a video/s on the Oriental Orthodox?

Dwong PLEASE do a video on how larry boy/veggietales proves catholicism
26:13 I wonder what’s going to happen after 2,000 years since Jesus’ death and resurrection. 😳🙏🏼✝️
Amazing effort. Your videos are clean. A question though. Why do you say that this proves Catholicism specifically rather than Christianity in general?
Because Catholicism is the fullness of Christianity, and most Protestants don’t view the Mass as a sacrifice - so they wouldn’t say they have a thanksgiving sacrifice
Is symeon the high priest the same symeon as st symeon
I don't know if you will read this but Maleachi 1:11 is also so good. Does this scripture not completely prove the new covenant and the apostolic tradition of the church?
Hello there. I like your content and these are some great videos. I have a question or a favour to ask if you don't mind.
Sure what’s up
@@dwong9289 Can you respond to "Young Anglican's" video on 5 reasons on why he's not a Catholic.
Also, I think you should make a video explaining the Absolute Divine Simplicity from St. Thomas Aquinas and how the Orthodox objections are wrong/how it doesn't lead to Atheism or pantheism . You did a great job with the essence-energy distinction video.
Do you think it is reasonable to use the existance of an oral tradition (Talmud) in the Old Covenant to argue against sola scriptura?
You can but you can also just appeal to the New Testament and use 2 Thessalonians 2:15

@@dwong9289 no it isn't. make a video with as much due diligence as your other videos about it. I'd gladly have you change my mind.
I have a difficulty with your Daniel 9 argument.
The decree, as you said is in 457 BC
After 7 weeks, or 49 years which is 408 BC, the Messiah prince comes. This is identified later as the Messiah who dies. It also says from 408 BC to 26 AD the Temple shall be in a state of being built.
Then after 26 AD the Messiah will die, Jerusalem and the Temple will be destroyed, and for half of the final week, either 26 to 29 and 6 months, or 29 and 6 months to 33 AD, the Temple's sacrifices will cease, and from 26 to 33 AD the messiah will make a covenant.
Some discrepancies:
Jesus doesn't come in 408 BC and live for 434 years. He doesn't die in 26 AD, but after could be intepreted as the week from 26 AD to 33 AD. However, the Temple sacrifices don't only stop for half a week and resume in 30 or 33 AD, and Christ's covenant is forever, not for 7 years.
Also the fact that the Temple is destroyed before seventy weeks means that by 33 AD Jerusalem and The Temple have to be destroyed.
If this is a messianic prophecy, how do we understand this?
You misunderstood what I said. The prophecy said after seventy weeks of years, which is 490 years. 490 years from 457 BC is 33AD when Christ was crucified.
The part about the week long period and half the week is referring to the Jewish Roman War which was from 66-73 AD which lasted 7 years or “a week.” Half way in between that “week” is 70 AD, when the Temple was destroyed.
Well done bro 🙏💪👏
So the application of prophecies to Jesus is so obvious that the Talmud can't even fully deny it...

I think it is about Isreal, but the Messiah is Isreals representative not only is he the new Adam he is also Isreal reduced to one.
This works as evidence agaisnt atheists because having the people who are pro Christ talking about His miracles, they can disregard as being lies. But if the people who are anti Christ also talk about the supernatural events surrounding Him and the temple, it leaves little room for debate.
How does Jesus being the messiah prove Catholicism?
Catholicism is the fullness of Christianity

Who wrote the Letter to the Hebrews?
I think St Paul, but you are free to disagree
1. The Catholic Church has traditionally held that St. Paul was involved with the Letter To The Hebrews.
2. The 20th century Catholic mystic Maria Valtorta states that it was St. Paul's teacher Gamaliel who wrote the body of the Letter To The Hebrews which St. Paul then edited.
3. If interested, check out Catholic Reconquista's youtube video of June 1, 2023 titled 'Valtorta's visions clarify authorship of the Letter to the Hebrews: both St Paul & Rabbi Gamaliel'.
4. Here are the comments I posted on that video:
Entirely plausible when taking the writings of Maria Valtorta into consideration:
1. Jesus spoke in the Jerusalem Temple in the presence of Gamaliel.
2. The eye witness Gamaliel wrote down Jesus' actual words, and then added his own commentary that interpreted them according to the rabbinical school of his grandfather Hillel which he was trained in. His quotation of Jesus' spoken words constitute another Gospel.
3. For whatever reason, the circumspect Gamaliel passed his work onto Saul, his former rabbinical student, who now had become Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles.
4. Since the early letters of Paul already were in circulation among the churches, by translating the Letter To The Hebrews into Greek and then promoting it, Paul, in effect, had provided an apostolic imprimatur to Gamaliel's work that was to remain anonymous due to his family's prominence in the Sanhedrin. Gamaliel may have already passed away and the early Church was becoming severely persecuted in Jerusalem.
5. The Letter To The Hebrews gave Paul and the other apostles an "ace up their sleeve" in that they could present it to the Jewish communities they encountered throughout the Roman Empire and beyond, since the Apostle Thomas traveled to India.
6. It would brace these scattered Jewish communities for the coming destruction of the Jerusalem Temple in 70 AD, reconciling that momentous event ending the Levitical priesthood from the Mosaic Law with Jesus' priesthood according to the order of Melchizedek.
7. Jesus could now be easily understood as the fulfillment of (A) the Priestly King of Salem, bringing forth bread and wine, who blessed Abraham in Genesis 14 and (B) the messianic prophecy of Psalm 110:4: The LORD has sworn and will not waver: “You are a priest forever in the manner of Melchizedek" culminating in (C) the rite of the New Covenant established at His Last Supper and ratified the next day in His Blood on the cross at Calvary.
8. For these Jewish communities in diaspora, the Letter to the Hebrews would compliment the Gospel, whether the latter was preached to them or in written form.
9. Gamaliel is venerated and celebrated by the Eastern Orthodox Church on August 2. The Catholic Church celebrates Gamaliel on August 3 by venerating his relics, along with those of St. Stephen, Gamaliel's son Albibon and Nicodemus
@@annakimborahpaClement of Alexandria say it was Paul, but Luke wrote it, and didn't prefix his name to it, because in respect to christ, because christ was apostles to the Jews

Your point about the crimson thread is I think the most telling.
Shimon was a highly righteous High Priest, perhaps the best ever. In his time, the rite of animal sacrifice was at its most effective because he was the person performing it. After his reign, the sacrificial rite began dropping in its effectiveness. In this climate, another key figure emerged. He sacrificed himself in dramatic fashion, and afterwards, the rite of sacrifice lost all effectiveness.
There are two possible directions to go from here, and the question is whether you believe in moving forward or backward.
In the story of the Binding of Isaac, God offered Abraham an alternative to human sacrifice, allowing him to sacrifice a lamb in his son's stead. It's easy to understand how this symbolically represents the difference between the Canaanites and the Israelites - the former group sacrificed humans, while the latter sacrificed animals.
One interpretation holds that God actually prefers human sacrifice to animal sacrifice, despite expressing exactly the opposite preference in his interactions with Abraham. Those who hold to this interpretation are Catholics. The religion represents an escape from the Jewish frame of mind back to the Canaanite frame of mind from which God delivered the Ancient Israelites. The similarities between Catholic veneration of human sacrifice and Baalistic veneration of human sacrifice are difficult to ignore.
The other interpretation holds that God always wanted us to move away from sacrifice, and offered Abraham the option of animal sacrifice as an intermediate step. Shimon gave the people the best possible version of this rite, which represented the endpoint of its acceptability in God's eyes. Those whose behavior is consistent with this perspective are Jews - since the time of the Temple the religion has evolved to substitute prayer for animal sacrifice (which was itself originally a substitute for human sacrifice).
The attribution error that Christians make is understandable - it's basically just an example of our natural human tendency to idolize other humans. The surrounding climate had been prepared for someone like Jesus to arrive, and he was the one to walk through the door. Worshipping him is like worshipping Isaac Newton for having discovered calculus. In truth, calculus was ready to be discovered, as evidenced by the fact that Leibniz independently made the same discovery at the same time. The lesson that God is teaching us is to avoid giving too much credit to these trailblazing individuals, forgetting the ways in which these breakthroughs necessarily depend on the cumulative efforts of everyone who came before.
No temple, no sacrifice, no blood atonement. Talmudic Judaism is wrong.
@@dwong9289 Judaism indeed lacks blood atonement. We have continued to evolve away from bloodshed and death, as per God's plan.
First we sacrificed humans, then we sacrificed animals. Now we sacrifice our time to please God with our voices.
You venerate human sacrifice, because your faith represents a regression to how things were before Abraham took the first step towards righteousness.
Catholicism disproves Talmud. How about that.
Catholicism is the prove on itself. Cannot be proved by inferior theology.
Level up your logic. Study scholastics.
Did you even watch the video or understand the point of the video?
@@dwong9289 The title on itself merits the critic.
@@lesguil4023 The point of the video is not to assert the talmud is authoritative, nowhere in the video do I assert that. The point is to show that using the Jews’ own book they should be lead to the Catholic faith.
