Thanks for the video. Im going to do this for a shovel for sure. Any guesses based on experience with the shovel if it would hold a kayak paddle?
If it fits, 2 would definitely hold it. My concern with a kyak paddle would be the paddle being too skinny. But I did do a quick search and saw that they made mini quickfists that may work better for that. It just depends how thick the paddle is.

I have been using the cleats for years. First on my 4th gen 4runner, now on my 5th get. They work great.
