Sure as hell not going go anywhere!! Solid as and looks cool too. Mounted like that with a quick release would be awesome. If one part does down a garage drain.. out in the sticks is gonna be a pain in the ass.👍
If u still have them, u can change these clamps into a quick release one. Cut the clamp from the hole to the end of the clamp, so loosening both butterfly/wing nuts on one clamp holding shovel and axe, the white color bolt should be able to be moved out of the clamp, do this for the bottom side of the clamp, so the top side is still locked with the bolts. Ur shovel and axe should come off without removing the clamps fully. If u have seen a GoPro handle bar mount, u will get what am saying.

Agreed!

Now that’s a smart idea!
Need a quick release system. That’s a pain
Agreed!
Do you have to loosen the shovel mount to get the axe mount loose?
Yes, so far that is the only thing I do not like about this mount.
Niceeee
It is!
Has anyone come up with a DIY lock set up for this mount.
That is a good question, I have not found anything yet.
You might want to label this as rack mount
