Replenish contains Na(sodium) derived from Nacl which is used in Replenish.
In short....not good for freshwater ( plants+ fish).
You can re-mineralize freshwater tanks by using Seachem Equilibrium.
Uses calcium derived from sulfates & NO sodium
I use RO water where TDS is 70.. After 50% water change every week TDS is reading 170-180.. is it because of rocks

Heavy metals can be reduced only by RO systems... Prime only removes chlorine and harmful substance from the water.. It does not reduce tds

Sir my african cichlid tank tds is showing 980 ppm should i be worried? i do weekly water changes of upto 50% and the water i add has a TDS of 125 ppm but i have crushed lime stone sand and holey rocks and i add about 4-5 table spoon of aquarimum salt when ever i do a water change i have a 250 liter tank. 🙏
Hi that is High... See why are you adding Salt every time?... These are fresh water fishes... We use salt for fresh water fishes only during treatments
@@FwrapperAqua but many cichlid keepers abroad add salt to their cichlid tank like seachem cichlid lake salt for depleted minerals and also for parasite but i cant afford that its too expencive for me so i add a mix of normal aquarimum salt and Epsom salt with every water change the fishes have good colouration and looks healthy just i was worried about the high tds ps i did a water change yesterday and skipped the salt now the tds is around 700 ppm so may be the high tds is mainly because of the salt.

Hi, I have a chiclid tank 2feet size. First of all your video is very very informative. Now I have a TDS meter. I measured my tank water TDS, to my surprise the TDS is more than 500 ppm. I use RO water which shows a TDS of 50ppm. I am not able to understand the reason why my tank has high TDS. Pls help me out.

Yes... Any salt will increase your tds levels... You try it in glass of water and see the change
We can mix low TDS ro water and bore water..hence no need to buy seperate mineral tonics

It all depends on the tds that you have...... Between 100 to 200 ppm is generally good... But please check the ideal tds requirement for the fishes that you have...

Soft water may have high level of tds due to dissolved sodium chloride. So what depends more - hardness or high tds without hardness.

I feel the tds is very low for gold fish.. I think you can go upto 100 ppm tds.. See fishes need minerals also from the water... I am not a gold fish keeper.. I am just telling you my opinion

Adding epsom salt for constipation changed my tank's TDS from 150 to 350 ppm.What do you suggest?Is it safe for the fish? I used about 2g/litre of epsom salt.

I have brought the ph meter amazon.in something similar to what you use.. is it necessary to dip the ph meter in acidic solution while it is stored, or can i simply dry the bulb(sensor ) and close it with the cap provided

Hello sir i have planned to have a planted aquarium for the first time. So i setup everything from dry start. I have used the ada ver 2 soil, super 4 bacteria according how it should be used. My local fish store gave me some seeds and explained to me to just spread them over the soil and keep spraying water to keep it moist. I did all that everyday and the tank was covered by plastic wrap. Now its been almost a week but i dont see the seeds germinating. Is the quality of the seeds bad, should i remove it all out. Can you please suggest me what should i do. Thanks
Wait for another week and see... If not you can plant regular plants and start the tank... Some seeds might sprout when fully in water.. So don't remove the seeds... Also see if the roots are generated in the bottom...

What is RO water?
I read that tds tools need to be calibrated before using, is that the case with your device?
RO means Reverse osmosis water.. Basically we use RO water filter to reduce the hardness of the water.... This tds meter does not need calibration... It's ready to use
How can I reduce my tds in my tank sir? My current tds measurement is 200x10. It seems like after I change my water, the tds raise up after I put in anti chlorine and salt. Please help

Why are you adding salt after water change??.. If you are using ro water you don't need to add anti chlorine

If you're RO water had 27 ppm you should change you're filters.. That's way to high. Mine is 7ppm

Not for all varieties of fish... A lot of fishes will not survive with high tds

@@syedthasin see you need to tell me the tds of the bisleri water... Generally it should not be more than 50 ppm... Based on the reading you should add few drops of replenish in a glass of water and see the Change in tds... And once you know that you need to add accordingly to your bigger tank
