I have a dog and I absolutely love it, BUT I will say I bring him everywhere with me because I feel awful leaving him home alone for more than a few hours. I literally get mom guilt 😂😭. I can’t imagine my life without him, but I will say having a dog does hold me back from doing a lot of things just because I hate leaving him like I truly feel awful leaving him and I can never shake the feeling because he’s family to me! (I am also 21 and I live alone majority of the time since my fiancé works a lot).

Please oh please do not get a dog. The poor dog will always be alone. You’re never in the same place long enough to even potty train the dog. Dogs like to be with their family and pack, it just wouldn’t be good for the dog to always be dropped off at a kennel.
