This look is so pretty! I did the same recently with Mylar flakes and added a touch of white to my BG to create a milk bath effect. My favorite set to date!
Wow I just saw it and I think this is going to be my next se. I do use polygel instead of builder gel, but I am pretty sure this is going to work the same way. Beautiful set for hot summer days at the beach or pool.
Going to try the dual forms again. I tend to have difficulty with them. Either I press too hard and they are too thin at my natural fee edge (and it snaps off) or they lift a bit before I get it to the lamp (giant bubbles). But I noticed you don’t seem to bring it super close to the cuticle. Hopefully that will give me a bit more control. You always do such a beautiful job.
This video is so helpful, thank you! Your nails turned out stunningly beautiful ❤ I'm just confused with one thing: why putting base gel over the builder and then builder again? Why not just put another layer of builder gel? I forgot to ask if you've ever tried to use full nail covers) or is it coverage?!) as dual forms? I think it's called pop it method.
Thanks for sharing, I love the glitter in the builder gel. 💖When you’re ready for your next mani will have to soak off or dip over the glitter? I’ve been curious how people go into their next mani when using color builder gel to form a nail.
I know there are dips that you can use as like a chrome as well as a dip, how would you go about doing it? If you would know or perhaps have a video you can link? Because I have dips from shameless that work as both but idk how to do it as a dip chrome if you know what I mean.
Hi. So, I tried to use dual forms to do glitter nails. All fain and dandy until I noticed that somehow because of the glitter the builder gel underneath does not cure. Not even after 3min in the lamp! 😮😢 Any idea what on Earth is happening? I add a thin layer of transparent gel, cure, add the glitter and then the builder gel. I add glitter to the whole nail, though, not only the tip. Any ideas on how I can 'cook' the gel properly? 😅
I've used poly gel with dual forms and really struggle with getting the thickness right. How do you get the right thickness? Is builder gel better than polygel? I've had them be so thin they snap and so thick and are like claws 😂
SO Very pretty! I couldn’t tell from your video, are the flakes you added to the form exposed underneath your nail or did you put another coat of builder gel over them? I’ve been wanting to try a builder gel nail, do they hold up well?
Hi Melissa I love your channel. I have just managed to locate the dual forms (can't get from Amazon) and appreciate this video I just have one question, once you pop your forms off how many more layers of builder gel do you do if you were going to dip over builder gel? I know you are really good at doing thin layers (I am not) but how many layers do you usually do beneath dip? PS Did you find the periwinkle chrome?
This mani turned out so pretty and dainty!!! Just to clarify, you just used WCD base coat on the dual forms then builder gel? Or did I miss the BG part? Lolz
I don't use builder gel but this video makes me wanna give it a go!!!! That and I wanna now go my me a bag of glitter!!!! This mani is so beautiful!!!

😍❣️ Gorgeous! Glitterific but yet toned down enough for any professional job too! Thanks for sharing! 🙏😁
You and I have very similar shaped nailbeds. I have dual forms just like that. I've never used them and I think I will. You did a good job!
So Pretty 💜 I'm going to try that on my next manicure. Thank you for sharing 💜
Thank you so much for making this video. I love that you take your time to share your knowledge!! Your work is beautiful. 💕
I loved how these turned out thanks for sharing 😍💙💙
Gorgeous 👌🏻👌🏻🤩
I love this! Going to try with my dual forms, can you do some more videos using them please!
I second this!

Thank you! It really is! It's tough work but so worth it ❤
This is one of my favorite ones that you have done! ❤️
So beautifully done! 😍
Beautiful 💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻💅🏻🌹
Love this mani ❤️🇨🇦❤️
You make everything you do look so easy. You should see me trying to cure dual forms on straight. It’s an ordeal. 😆😆😆
So pretty. Where did you get your stone cuticle remover tool?
Melissa do you have a tutorial for the process of using forms to build your nails?
Thanks for this video!! Where did you find that Mylar ? I’ve been looking everywhere!

Melissa, where did you get that interchangeable tool??
Beautiful!!! What is the underneath side of the tips you added like? Any roughness from the glitter? These are gorgeous!
No not really! It laid pretty smooth. If it's a little rough you can take an efile to it :)
Whats the name of the funfetti? I want to get the exact same one

Depends entirely on the design I plan to do! If there's a chance the glitter will show through I'll cut down and rebuild.

Hi! Here's a video that might help you!

I was trying to catch where you got the stone pusher (I constantly nick my cuticles with my efile) but couldn’t understand what you said.
I think that one was from Royal House of Beauty but you can find them on Amazon too!

These are so pretty.. Question How long did you cure the builder gel for? When I used mine, the tips were still soft..
They cure fully for me after a minute. They can still be a bit pliable if the layer is thin enough.
I've used poly gel with dual forms and really struggle with getting the thickness right. How do you get the right thickness? Is builder gel better than polygel? I've had them be so thin they snap and so thick and are like claws 😂

I did file a little underneath after but the glitters mostly laid flat enough that I can't feel them on the underside.

I used the base on my nail then the builder gel in the form :)
@@MelissasManis thanks for clearing that up for me.
I am still learning dip and BG and I appreciate you so much!! Question- did you fill the entire form with one bead of BG???
Very nearly! Yes!
Question, if that's ok:
How long did you cure each form total before popping them off? I love this method because it helps with nail structure
I cured a full minute after the last form was applied. Each one before about 30s. Popped them all off together in the end.
Looks so pretty and effortless. But I know it's all an illusion. lol
They came out so pretty. I can not get any dual form to fit me right. Either my nails are too wide or too curved
Very Beautiful I Love Them
