The only reason you feel lost is that you think you're the only one. What you must realize is everyone is lost, especially the know-it-alls.
thzzzt I’d say there are a lot of common folk that have not engaged in reading and watching specific topics like anthropology, psychology, neuroscience, art and philosophy(excuse me if I’m being biased, but I feel like these are the core topics of human nature, both personally and socially), but there are certainly experts that do actually understand what they’re talking about; Jordan Peterson as a blunt example, Yuval Noah Harari, a historian, as a second example. These are the first two that popped into my mind, and based on what I observed, it seems like they have a deep and scientific understanding of humans and life in general. But just because they know a lot about Homo Sapiens, that doesn’t mean they do not suffer in life. Not everyone in life is lost, but everyone in life is guaranteed a dose of suffering :(
This is a very superficial statement. Of course we are all lost from time to time, sometimes or for a prolonged time BUT people who are lost are NOT know-it-alls .... they might just be on the way to enlightenment and realize how flawed they are (something YOU might try some time to embrace : that you are flawed ... just like the rest of menkind).
@@sosensitive3811 How exactly do you glean from my statement that I somehow think I'm separate from everyone? You, me, everyone --are lost. To know you're lost is a little better than not knowing you're lost, as with the know-it-alls.
That just makes it feel HOPELESS if nobody has escaped

He is cool. He is intelligent. He is articulate. He fights !!!!!!! for OUR freedom of speech .... all by himself, because all of his coleagues are afraid to speak up and lose their job. He is a hero to me. I respect him so very much and wish him the best.
This sounds so familiar!! Knowing what I want to happen, what SHOULD happen, but then things don't go that way and I'm left frustrated!!

Camilo Cancino this is Just a bad clip, meaning the content is gold but it would’ve How to include the 20 previous minutes of the lecture to provide the context to make sense of it.
Hate to say it but unfortunately it seems like not a lot of thought was put into getting this clip which leads me to suspect that the primary motive is ad revenue not actually learning.
If you didn't understand after 2 times, then you should probably let go.

I don't feel lost in life, and if i was, i wouldn't take advise from a depressed druggy ... i DO, however, want a break from work, i want to go to Turkey and eat at that shawarma place in Taksim square, where the shawarma cylinder is horizontal instead of vertical, and it's BBQed over charcoal instead of gas... damn that was the best shawarma i ever ate, and i know my shawarma :)

Serengeti Lion well fact is you don’t know happy without sad. Where you dwell is what you will be. There is no escaping tragedy. We are all going to suffer it. The ability happiness and it’s off chutes has is optimism so look at those as tools. When something bad happens to you the best thing is try to see the bright sides. If it eats you up you won’t ever recover. Live and learn etc. make sense? You’re looking at a small instance to a bigger equation. So by your account of course it isn’t. Because that smaller sense in its own world wouldn’t change.
You can’t put one concept and it be universal into happiness. It in itself isn’t possible. Evil could be happy! Lol.
strive for contentment not happiness . as you know it is unattainable- go outside look up breathe deep and let yourself day dream a few min. it helps. peace to you

ad revenue? i do not know ? i new to all this . I have wondered y just part of the class lecture . worse some of the few i have really needed are stopped before really the subject we were lead to believe by the bold print topic. i do not understand this - he is so intelligent .- y would he give us just parts or is this not him putting these on utub is that correct or on the web? thanks if you have time to let me "ad thing" actually any info you have time to share much appreciated i assure you, In peace. Jordan peterson may not be reaching your specific needs, maybe you need to go to a personal therapy in person.
