- The Sea-Doo LinQ Fuel Caddy stores 3.8-gallons of fuel, but the CARB emissions-legal spout truly sucks. For those sick of these spring-loaded, locking filler necks, we show you a very easy upgrade. Read the whole story HERE: watercraftjour...

Back in the eighties jetskis were hated by many. Kevin as a spokesman you are treading on thin ice. Good advice maybe...
Back in the 1990s, they were being banned by states. In the 2000's, companies FINALLY tried to appease these states. But the "bad blood" is still there.
Kevin, the way you bash Seadoos 🤪TC3 hull on a consistent basis it’s amazing they let you keep the 170. If your trying to get them to outfit it from the showroom with better sponsons I get it. Question is why don’t they?
I praised the GTI SE 170 consistently. The T3R (RXP-X) is finicky but is a solid design in the hands of a capable rider. The ST3 is problematic to say they least, and I’ve been outspoken about it since Day 1. Sea-Doo “let’s me have it” because I’m the most honest media representative in our industry with the world’s largest audience of readers and viewers combined. I provide detailed, informed and weighed editorial content that cannot be found anywhere else. Clearly they want to access The Watercraft Journal’s audience and value placing their products in my hands. -K
You need to ride the new RxGp Ultra
The WHAT?
Yup most definitely the best ski on the water!! RXGP ultra!!
Can you stack 2 on top of top of each other
Does anyone make a bigger tank? Say a ten gallon tank?
With a LinQ attachment? No
@@watercraftjournal can you link them on top of eachother?
@@bikekid11 no you cannot.
That’s the most expensive gas tank I’ve ever seen. $210, and then add more $$ to modify. No thanks
No, it's not cheap - and then $10 to make it work easily.
Love the videos and tips brother but this thing looks goofyer as frick with the spout sticking out all the time lol
What's not to like? It's a spout. It's flexible. It works literally 3x's faster than the factory spout. Function over form, is what I say. -K
@@watercraftjournal just cutting up with you. Your videos and tips are 👌 one thing we can all agree, the original spout for the gas can is trash 🗑
We haven't heard good things about the 2nd one either.
@@watercraftjournal quick question if you have time to answer.. I have a Seadoo cover for my Rxtx and the tag is gone. If I wash it, can I put it in the dryer or should I sit it outside to dry? I was scared it would shrink our stretch and not fit properly afterwards.
@@rjcfilms6186 Why not just put it on your jet ski to dry? that way if it does try to shrink, its already locked onto your ski as it dries.
This is obviously a terrible modification for a jet ski jerry can. Those plastic vents NEVER stay closed and leaving that funnel out is just a recipe for disaster. This is a jet ski; it is going to be hitting waters that aren’t smooth. I hate those terrible carb spouts as much as the next guy, but come on…
10 hours of use and it works as good as when we did it. Maybe you should just take better care of your stuff. ;)
I fully agree! Instead, you can buy the updated SeaDoo spout. But, you’ll have to use both hands while pressing spout tip on edge of filler port to get fuel flowing. You can remove the spring inside the new nozzle by removing the little rubber gasket and sliding the tip out. Or, buy Kool Products Replacement Spout and a Pop-A-Vent kit(or a stainless steel bolt-in valve stem). All can be found on Amazon).
And, the upgraded spout can still spill fuel if you allow too much weight to be placed on it, while pouring fuel!
