It seems like you can no longer use an official mode for unlocking the ribbons, it has to be control only

@@TheCadWoman yeah, very surprising change. Hopefully they don't do it again! For those regions that can't join a lobby, you can use a vpn, if you have one, to join EU or US lobbies and still get your ribbons 👍🏼
@@snivelsAgreed. I'm in NZ and I'll be lucky to get a lobby down here. VPN is about 200+ ping so not really useable. I'm not into control either so this event is useless to me. :/

They need to add all the skins from all the seasons. I never played season 1 and jumped into season 2 when I got my Xbox series x. The beta kept me from playing it and I only wanted to see what it looked like on my new tv and series X during season 2 and since the controls and aim assist on console were better it got me back into the game.
You can only get ribbons by playing the control mode which is a pain, don't think I'll be bothering.

Funny that we can get XP-boosts for no use in this events. The main thing for Dice is not to have to put in a bit of work for a few more designs. I'm already looking forward to season 7, where the same "unique" skin will be re-used on 9 weapons again. Ah... and dont forget the massiv usefull xp-boosts in the battlepass.
In archangel event you can only get ribbons in control only. Does not work in conquest for me.
The problem with skins\ cosmetics is that they are item specific i.e. I don't use the Avancys so I really don't care. DICE, can you make the stuff class\ weapon independent.
Something tells me that Dozer might have a great story in this update
Season 1 started on Thursday (just like all the weekly missions of preseason). Then they moved it to Tuesday and keep it that way. But with all that nonsense of last weeks it will not surprise me at all if they decide to move it again

I'm kinda relieved there's no weeklies, besides ribbons. I always feel the need to complete them even though I know I don't need to. 😅

Hey, DICE, how about bringing back S1 for a week so that people that got hosed out of the T1 season badge can get it?
Literally game was unplayable and now I'll never be able to 100% literally removed over 3k exp one day and called it there but now regretting that chose should have played through the bug
the season 1 and season 2 badges were bugged to where the game wouldn't keep track of the points you earned, so I got screwed out of S1 t1 badge, I was 14 points short which pisses me off.

i think in your region is different because the xp reward in U.S. is for 1hr not 3 and i dont seem to be earning ribbons for rewards outside of control
I cannot see ascendant warrior bundle anymore in my store,why?
They've stopped ribbons on solo player, my nephew tried last night when he visited, it doesn't work.

Same for me too. It was there earlier this morning on east coast of US, now at 8pm est, it's just the arkangel bundle. The bundle has different items in it as well now too.

Im very happy you get to play it. I dont know why they sold battlefield in south africa, you cannot get into a game, except for solo/co-op. And dice uses 2 cities in our country as maps !!!! The bloody cheek of some people. ENJOY IT

The PAC name also appears on Rao's wrist based hacking tool. While I'd personally LOVE a revisit to 2142, given the continual whining and complaining about a modern era game (which we've already had twice: BF3 and 4), i just don't see DICE taking the risk. Then again, they did go big with BF1 and it turned out to be pretty spectacular.
Time will tell. All we can do is wait and speculate.

I need a squad for Battlefield 2042 been playing it a lot lately have nobody to play it with. I’m on PlayStation and I mostly am trying for tier 1 stuff so I just play whoever I’m feeling but I do play support based roles when I play so if you need a medic ammo or need a drone operator I can do that. I’ve been using Casper lately to get his tier 1 after I got Blascos

Same people who destroyed EA/DICE for rushing a buggy launch are complaining about a two week delay. Folks, this is what learning from your mistakes looks like! Have some patience.

Recycling the same events and stretching everything out with longer and longer gaps between new content - it's nothing short of a insult to the playerbase really. I truly believe the shockingly low standards of BF2042 are just unfortunately what we can expect from EADice going into the future... They are using 2042 to test the waters to determine the expectations of the current generation of gamers, what the least amount of content the devs can get away with is and what is the lowest level of service people will tolerate... The content levels of this game are frankly a joke, but sadly as people (particularly younger kids) over time come to see this as the benchmark for a AAA game, this is exactly what theyll get from now on - 1 or maybe 2 maps per season stretched out over months will be the norm from now on. To think BF1 had 32 maps lol 🤷🏻♂️

Sweet christ I forgot it's been THAT LONG since announcement. Really bothersome since all but exactly ONE cosmetic in this game looks like crap to me and I have no interest in anything but actual content.
More frustratingly there hasn't been an update with changes I liked that didn't simultaneously do things I also wasn't a fan of, so it's pretty depressing to have to wait so long for something that might not even be enjoyable to me.
