I remember playing the cars 2 DS game a ton as a kid, constantly replaying through the story and races. Though I always remember thinking it was too easy lol
I genuinely believe there could have been a port of the ps2 cars game to the Psp counterpart, it could have been like from xbox 360 unleashed to nintendo wii unwiished, but with low res cutscenes, with the full story and hub world, etc.
The third wave of minigames in Cars 1 is actually the best from what I remember, it had tractor tipping which I actually think is the best version of that minigame and it had a minigame where you race Mater backwards in Willy’s Butte (basically a Piston Cup race but with reversed controls and it’s not an autoscroller) Speaking of the Piston Cup, actually, you can actually try to pop all 4 of Chick’s tires to take him out of the race instantly, but he can do the same thing to you, which makes it really tense

For some reson I remember the game where mator gose to space to collect stars when I was little and that one only for some rason maby I played the other games on cars on the ds but I don't remember the only other ds game I remember from when I was little was some random snoopy game
The DRH were the coolest cars to me back then too. Not to mention spending hours on Need For Speed Underground 2 customizing cars, well more like ricing them with all the cosmetics.

the plymouth superbird which was what richard petty raced in nascar was ridulously quick in NASCAR it got banned from the sport
