Yes!!
Wonder tutorial. I ordered potatoes fabric after Friday's unboxing.
Oh good!!
Can’t wait to get my potato fabric and make some bags!
I love this, thank you so much! You guys are awesome
Tysm for all the instructions. You and your family are very appreciated 😁
Thank you!!
Thank u for sharing!
Hi great videos I am now a subscriber. You did not finish the video on the tortilla if you do not like the raw edge showing. Do you have an other video showing this.
Looks so easy. What seam allowance did you use and how many potatoes can go in the size bag you made?
where is the link for the directions?
Can you email the potato baking instructions. I'm not finding them attached as stated. I'd certainly appreciate it. I love watching your videos!!!!
Oh I’m sorry about that!! I’ll have Brianna fix that. But yes!! I’d be happy to email that to you. Email us at info@fabricpatch.net
4 to 6 mins
Loved this. Made several bags for gifts. Please advise a recent problem. After approximately a dozen uses, maybe more, the bag scorched and then later burned in the corner where the stitches were reinforced . I used a damp paper towel as recommended . Also used 100% cotton as recommended. . Washed the potato’s well. Still mystified as to what went wrong. Thoughts? Do you wash the bags between uses?
I read that if the batting has "scrim" it's not to be used in microwaves, even though it is listed as 100% cotton.
I read on a different place, that you should never use fabric softener when washing these. I think that could be your problem?
I am watching this late Nov 2022. Where can I find the print out for the cooking directions?
Love all of these. Do you sell the microwave bowls in a kit? Thanks for these great gift ideas.
I could put a kit together for you! Call us at the shop on Monday and we’ll take care of you.
@@TheFabricPatch Will do. Thanks!
I feel stupid. In the video you say you will put a link to the free directions/handout from the company that puts out the fabric but I don't see the link. Would you help me please?
Above the comments on the left there is "more" press that and the links show up ;-) I did the same thing, couldn't find them so I scrolled through the comments and saw your comment and decided to go back up and look again. Yay! found it. Enjoy
Love these idea's. Can you serge the edges?
As long as your serger has 100 % cotton thread on it you can.
I cant find the potato baking instructions. How can i find them?
In my research about 100% cotton batting I found this on the Warm Company site:
Is it safe to put Warm Products in the microwave?
The Warm Company does not recommend cotton batting, polyester batting or blended batting for microwave use. Cotton batting, cotton fabric and cotton threads are flammable. Patterns recommending the use of Warm & Natural, Warm & White, Insul-Bright, Warm & Plush or any other Warm Products for microwave use are doing so without the consent of The Warm Company.
My results from researching were to use Wrap and Zap by Pellon.
Love this potato cooker video. It may be me but I do not see the link for the potato baking instructions.
Hmm. I think sometimes RUclips takes it down after 60 days. I’ll have Brianna put it back up. Or email me and I’ll email it to you.
I'm looking for the cooking instructions also
where is the downloadable directions for this cool micro bag?
Hi. The quilt behind you, what pattern is that?
Can you repost the instructions? I can’t find them.
I was told to always use Wrap N Zap. What is the difference between Wrap N Zap and Warm 100? Thank you.
I’ve never heard of wrap n zap. Im assuming it is just another brand. As long as it is all cotton all is good.
@@TheFabricPatch Thank you.
Where is the sheet of potato baking instructions?
We will re attach it to the description I’m not sure why it’s not there...
Can you make me a kit for the potato cooker and the tortill warmer pouch
Yes. We have the potato cookers already, it comes with the card for gifting:
www.fabricpatch.net/shop/c/p/12-x-22-Quilted-Potato-fabric-x55211028.htm
The tortilla warmer is just 1/2 yard of the tortilla or nacho fabric and a 12” square of warm 100
I just watched your video for the microwave bowl it looked like you used 2 layers of batting? one on each top and bottom? Did I misunderstand that?
I had the same question
@@conniew7285 I watched some other you tube videos and they all seem to use 2 layers. I made one yesterday and I think it would be skimpy with only one layer.
@@robincarnegie8705 thank you I thought that also after I sent my other reply 😊
What batting should I use for this, a glueless one? Thanks:)
Use 100% cotton batting called "Warm 100". (It's glueless)
Is the quilted potato fabric still available? I searched your website and didn’t have much luck
It’s gone at the moment. We are hoping for more soon.
Where do I get that suction know on your ruler?
It's a Quilters Select product and it's available on the Fabric Patch website. ☺
Love the potato bags🤩How long do you microwave the potatoes for? I have never baked potatoes in the microwave!
Eight minutes for two large or three medium. Works great!!
lovely sewing info...now have your children lose weight for their health !!!
