Can standing all day at work prevent my disc bulg from healing? I use a standing desk at work. I have discomfort sitting.

In short its better than sitting all day of course, but you still want to try to break up things during the day and make sure you keep those hips mobile, the biggest thing with standing all day is that it will be just as tightening on the hips - which can then pull on the back more.

Thank you for your video! Does this apply during the acute phase of an injury? Don't we need to introduce spinal flexion at some point? I feel like I avoided spinal flexion for too long which caused many more issues beyond the bulging disc. Thank you for your professional advice and insight!

Yep, The thing is most people do not need more spinal flexion in their daily lives. They're already doing it in spite of the best intensions. Focusing on building strength in the neutral is of vital importance. Certainly until you've built significant progress in this regard there is no need to be doing extra flexion in the form of "exercise". Plus it is very easy to steadily add it back in if you do feel that it is required.
What's more in many cases the person with a chronic lumbar disc injury has a flexed lumbar spine i.e. their spine is stuck in permanent flexion even when standing upright. Therefore they CERTAINLY do not need added flexion (this understanding only comes from X-Ray imaging).
