Brings back memories of when I was first getting into basketball…This theme reminds me of MJ, Barkley (Suns), Malone and Stockton, Shaq and Penny, Ewing and Starks, as well as Zo and LJ!!
If memory serves me correctly, the "swing" intro was used for only one season, as you mentioned, the 1999 lockout year at that. It was goofy as all hell and somewhat obnoxious (at least to me it was) lol. It was strictly by TNT I believe, whereas the TBS theme in that same year was SUPER rad.
@@JMDogg It seems like that was the norm for NBA network broadcasts with new themes..they would use the prior and/or current theme for one full season and a month or so into the following season before rebranding completely..I.E CBS's 1989-90, and very much if not all of Turner's NBA themes..
