I concur. I also find that having some beautiful and ancient items around is soothing. Plenty of noise and nonsense in a busy world and yet the items perdure and retain their beauty or even become yet more enchanting.
Yeah pay close attention to the characteristics of how that Yongle foot looks, because you are run across one at your local auction one day 😄People I love your videos but could please show the marks and extra pictures of these items if the auction provides them, nice to see the marks sometimes.
I submitted an inquiry about a vase I have on the 4th of November, and I still haven’t gotten a response outside of the automated confirmation email. I just called the phone number on the email aswell.
Hi Will, We have resent it, the original was sent on the 6th or 7th and is likely in your Promotions or Social folder. I didn't bounce, so it did get there, Gmail hide it on you. Best Peter
, Chinese painting and calligraphy on procelain works took couples of the sharp turns in the 20th century, 1949& 1966 after that it was western drawing & painting form colleges took over the tradition, its entirely different things, the people who fake today are grownup with only pen and pencil & trained for western drawing skills it looks & feels different than traditional Chinese brush painting, its kinda like trying to learn Chinese when you grown-up with English,It's not impossible but the difference will be noticed , Most importantly the society and culture environment , is not the same, it's GONE.

Hi Peter, I have submitted few inquiries but I think I would have to get registered on your site; I don't know how to go about it.
I heard from a friend that a few Butler family members didn't agree to sell the collection

No amount of mone money will compensate for betraying the wish of their father and destroying his legacy.
