Bro thank you. Youre the only guy who has bought this and correctly shown how to mount the surrond sound. My brand new v series didnt come with the booklet so I was so lost lol
I have virtual x & surround sound & dual surround on all the time . I suggest that you go out & purchase a 2.1 high speed hdmi cable, it will make a difference in sound quality !
I just recently bought one of these. It sounds great once you figure out how to adjust it. One big problem if you're going to wall mount the rear speakers. The oddball screws that connect the speaker to the universal bracket is nearly impossible to find. It is an M3.5 and none of my local hardware stores carry it. When I looked online, of course I had to but a bag of them to get the two I needed. But the bigger problem was that I still didn't know the thread pitch or correct length. I ended up getting speaker shelves to mount them and returned the mounting kit.
I wish I could hear what you're saying better. The volume is very weak. Otherwise good review, from what I could hear. Costco has these for $159.99 with free shipping until 3/27/21.
Love the review, but I can't get over the fact that this guy is watching The Great Vincent Price in the absolute legendary film, House on Haunted Hill! What a classic to be watching!
Great detailed overview but would have been nice if you would have played a movie that didn't have stereo sound from the early 1900s they didn't even have stereo back then nevertheless Dolby digital or do we prologic or Atmos.
I got mine at Costco great device. But I’m having a issue with HDMI ARC I have to keep my other HDMI inputs unplugged before I power on my TCL roku tv then plug them in after power up otherwise my sound bar isn’t recognized. It’s a little annoying but Other than that it’s fantastic!
Very informative! I just ordered this from amazon a few days ago, and I have a really stupid question about the rear speakers. Which speaker is left and which one is right? If I'm watching the TV, is the left speaker to the left of my head, or do they mean it's to the left when I'm looking at the wall where they will be mounted?
Left speaker to the left of your head, there’s also a test button on the controller where it tests every speaker and states their name. If you’re facing the tv, behind you the left rear speaker should be to the left of your head, right speaker to the right
@@einsp227 - pretty much all movies made prior to dolby surround wont get the full effect. if you listen to the surround speakers, you can hear the dialog
Just got mine today and when I play a Blu-ray that has 5.1 DTS HD Audio it sounds like shit through the speakers, non stop cracking over the audio. Any "Dolby" audio seems to work fine and 5.1 through streaming fine as well. What am I doing wrong? I got it briefly fixed but don't know exactly what I had changed, but the audio was very low and sound bar starter cutting off every 18 seconds over and over, so I reset everything including TV and now I'm back at square one.
It really doesn't work accurate for blu-ray but keep trying resetting it doesn't work turn the eco off in the menu and that should stop it from turning off though good luck
@@womwcc_daomen thanks. Had to reset everything and change the audio output on my 4k player to something else and that seems to have solved the problem.
@@womwcc_daomen I do not, and the sound bar itself comes with a surround kit, so you get 3 front channels in the bar, a Bluetooth subwoofer and 2 rear/side speakers. So it's a 5.1 surround sound and it sounds great for the price. It's not gonna be too quality sound but definitely adds depth and immersion to your TV viewing experience.
Does anyone know if the HDMI arc is the same as a standard hdmi input on a tv? I don’t see a difference on my tv panel, but when I go into the menu is reads arc hdmi.
@@bigwaxx795 you are correct, I have the rear speakers turned down to 2 notches so that I can still hear the soundbar. My rear speakers are right behind my couch & it is setup in a very small room ( den )

Nothing like a 50's movie to do an audio test on. We all know the audio quality is unmatched back then ;)
😂😂😂

Yeah and excellent surround sound, too.

The screws for my speaker wall mount are too big to screw into the back of my speakers..so aggravating!
hows the bass? does it slap?
Bass is great !
How did you turn on the center and surround sound on?
Wowww thank you,you helped me out alot , good video

What can u do if the remote will not turn on soundbar?
I couldn’t get my surround sound to work. I have been trying but nothing.
Do you have a link for the screws
Vrt-x will work when using surround dual mode for the rear speakers. That is how I have mine setup.
Haha testing it on a pioneer decade of music because back then they used to put 29.1 bass.
Why wouldn't you record this video with a movie from 5.1 era?
Do you know how to fix no sound issue. I have mine to hdmi arc and no sound comes out. The sound bar works just no sound coming from tv
6:11 does the wall screw come included because I didn’t see any… same for the wall mount for the soundbar.
So what if I don’t want to use the home theater & just the volume like how do I turn off or on the theater if I do or don’t want to use it
How long are the cables for the rear satellite speakers?
I got the 2.1 version and my volume went only half ways so I returned it do you know why?

HDMI and HDMI ARC are different. Your manual should let you know which port is ARC.
I wonder, can you adjust the volume on the two mini surround sound speakers?, If so what setting do you go to for that?.

Yes hit the level button on the remote stroll to Surr Lvl then stroll to rather you want the little speaker high or low
