Got my book recently from Amazon, I'm a few chapters in but I wanted to point out that the first thing I did was flip to a random page to read from. Instantly I felt greeted by the familiar voice we all know love, and after reading a few chapters I knew this book would be a game changer. Dr. K really knows how to help from a place of understanding and acceptance while also basing information off the latest neuroscience but what really blows my mind is how he articulates information in a way that's easy to understand and absorb. Thank you Dr. K, truly you are a blessing to society.

As someone working in primary education, seeing parents and educators (myself included) all completely overwhelmed, I really hope the book gets translated into many languages so it can benefit as many people as possible.

Did you get the German version or the English one? I distinctly remember Dr K presenting a German version in a video but I haven't been able to find it anywhere and I want it for all of my friends lol. I got the English version and I'm really happy with it.

I'm just gonna read this for fun, I'm excited for Dr. K, finally writing a book. I remember he mentioned that people have been asking for a book for a while, compiling all of his knowledge. This probably still doesn't include everything he knows, but it's still a good thing

I've already pre-ordered it. It will be available here in a few days. I didn't buy it for myself, though, but for my best friend and their partner. They will start raising a (hopefully) healthy gamer in a few months. All other presents I found for future parents where either expensive or stuff they would get themselves or tons and tons of outright cheap shit. But fortunately I remembered this book and now I think it's the perfect gift.

Mannn o mannn was this book needed, can't thank you enough for the wisdom in this book even tho im in my 30s and only game an hour or so a day i still feel the effects of side effects of what it does to your brain as you described....Highly recommend!
We are a gaming family here. Its one big hobby we all share together and its a daily thing we enjoy. We do gardening and other things but you can save alot if money staying home being immersed with friends having a great time! My 10yr old son plays when his friends are are on after he "works" a 7 hour day at school. As long as his home work is done he can enjoy it in his down time!

This book is really good and really impressive! But if I were to recommend anything, I'd say maybe writing a book on wellness and how to take care of yourself as a whole would be interesting. As well as maybe how to communicate properly with other people sense thats one thing I really enjoy about watching Dr. K. Especially with how he talks to streamers and such.
Will definitely read this on my breaks during work!!

Would love to get the hardcover but in the EU right now, the shipping from uk or us kills me. Since Brexit, products from UK not only have stupid expensive shipping for the cost and most of the times it gets stuck in customs so you have to pay it as well. Hopefully i can get a digital copy, or audiobook cheap but from what i see it's the same price ( i never understood why). Oh well...i will get it one day for sure. Congrats Dr.K! As someone who read an early copy, I can confirm for y'all--IT IS SO GOOD, BUY IT! I've been recommending it to everyone. It has so much helpful info that goes beyond parenting gamers, but just interacting with other people in general. I love that. Fantastic book, hope you sell loads. :)

Yes finally when my parents say something stupid like there is no book on how to parent I can show them this! I'm definitely going to buy that just to be able to throw it at their face whenever they start blaming video games for everything "wrong" with me.

I pre-ordered it on Amazon a couple weeks ago. My best guess would be, that the first edition is already sold out from the pre-orders and you're going to have to buy an ebook or audiobook or wait for the second printing.

Hey Dr.K, I have a question about meditation. I just recently heard about how meditation or yoga can be demonic. Why do you think people would think meditation is demonic? I do enjoy meditating so I’m a bit confused on why people would think that something so peaceful could bring harm spiritually.

Could you have a guest on who is prepared to discuss the entertainment media (such as Drake and Jay-Z) who is supported by government intelligence agencies and the justification of using a technology called v2k on citizens ignoring all privacy and human rights laws whilst facilitating their profit and propogandising and weaponising their self-imposed authority?
For example - why is a bookmaker allowed to influence the brain of their customers?
Isn't that quite dangerous? The question is - to what extent can a commercial company influence the public? Should they be allowed access to someone's physiology and brain wiring?
