I've really come to love Hannah's video style and approach to climbing. Really healthy and more relatable to average climbers like myself (even tho V7 is absolutely not average!)
Hannah’s videos are becoming so entertaining and fun to watch, not that they haven’t been before but the editing and production quality is great to see
What an amazing gym. I'd love to have such a selection of boulders in one place. And when it comes to having an empty gym it's a really nice experience
Just a thought to consider: I feel like if Nathan talks from behind the camera and just has a conversation with Hannah about the boulder and maybe gives a few insights, it will help with the flow and mood of the video if that makes sense.
So surreal seeing you climb in the gym I visit regularly! On top of the cave (and next to the training wall downstairs) there's also ample weight and strength training equipment in case you need a pre- or post-bouldering workout!
I was 45 minutes away from this gym when I was in Switzerland this summer. Definitely should have gone! It was kind of the odds of a lifetime though cause I got to watch the ifsc lead finals while there !
This gym is actually surprisingly close to me, and I never even knew it existed. Thanks for introducing this place! Also none of the bouldering gyms I've been to here in Switzerland seem to use V grades for some reason, no clue what that's about.
I kinda liked the no V grade - took the emphasis off expecting to climb a certain number for me, until I learned the conversion! Hope you enjoy it if you do visit!!🥳
@@hannahmorrisbouldering I actually had a chance to climb at this gym recently. Really liked the overall aesthetic of the place, plus there were a lot of cool boulders. As a beginner climber I did feel like (especially compared to the gym I usually go bouldering at) this gym is geared a bit more towards more advanced climbers. I managed to complete most of the grade 2 climbs I attempted but couldn't complete even a single 3 (although I got close on occasion). Still, I definitely intend to go back there sometimes.
I guess it's easy for the routesetter so they don't have to be so precise with the grades and I guess it motivates people to climb harder grades that they won't usually try.
This is my gym where I started bouldering 2 years ago. I climb most V3 there but struggle a lot with V4s. I thought these were official V grade until today 😅😂😂. I remember sending the boulder @10:00, it was a favorite of mine 😍
BOUBA is indeed a beautiful bouldering gym! I never thought I see my bouldering gym in a vid of yours…😮 I am a bit jealous that you had the gym for your self! 😅
It was maybe one of my fav climbing experiences getting to enjoy an early morning climb in an empty gym! Looking forward to hopefully heading back one day 😊
Hi, I love your content so much I probably have corona rn (my mum has it and I am feeling not that good) and I am coming back to binge watching your content. When you are in Germany, especially in NRW around Düsseldorf, I would recommend the Einstein bouldering gym in Düsseldorf. I was there a few days ago for the first time and it really is the most amazing bouldering gym I have ever seen (even including nearly all I've seen in videos)
Question. Do you prefer climbing in an empty gym or a packed one? I realize that filming in an empty gym is more convenient, but I generally find I climb worse (and have shorter sessions) when climbing alone. Even if everyone are strangers I find I like it more. How about you?
It was really special to climb in this gym by myself and I do like climbing alone often, but I do also enjoy climbing with a partner or a group and I think part of what makes a gym cool is it’s community feeling so it was nice to climb here in the evening too and get to enjoy the vibe. ☺️
looks epic! I’d love to have the chance to play a bit of basketball for a warm up😂 Just wondering Hannah, where are yours shorts from as another female climber i love buying new shorts for climbing specifically not just running but i struggle to find them! Would love to know x
@@hannahmorrisbouldering They do have a lot of different styles/holds, which is cool. You're right about the grading. The jumps in between the grades also feel huge. If you're ever in the area again you should try out Boulderlounge in Schlieren :-)
Boulderlounge in Schlieren is so cool! I think grades are quite stiff in the German-speaking part of Switzerland as opposed to other gyms I've been to, yes =) But the routesetting is usually interesting, for all grades =)
@@hannahmorrisbouldering Morning Hannah, appreciate the reply. I suffered a pulley strain last week. Thankfully just a sprain, not a full tear. Working on recovery now. Frustrating isn't it!

Nice to see some clips from you in Switzerland. I live 40min away from the gym definitely gonna try it.

I was there on Sunday. It's an amazing gym indeed. The setting style is fantastic.
Glad you liked it there. It’s really cool!
Love it how there is a basketball hoop in a climbing gym 🤣! Well climbed Hannah!!! :)

V Grades are more common in the USA, in europe the Font Scale is used for grading boulders.

I know you're in Europe, but at Miguel's in Red River Gorge there's a basketball court so for all time basketball and climbing will be linked for me.
Ahhh no way! Every gym should have one 😎
