minor correction. The canal system is not from the British times but the Bhakra Nangal irrigation project and the Indira Gandhi Canal by the Government of India after 1947. The entire irrigation system has been revamped during the Green Revolution of 1970s. A lot of work has been done on irrigation projects in Punjab
True.... I'm glad someone has written on this. In Pakistan's Punjab and other states too, very little work has been done on infrastructure development after the British regime ended. So they can't imagine much ahead than British. I've seen many videos of Pak side, even the railways' infrastructure is still British time, i.e., the manual signals, guard cabins, small platforms, old waiting rooms, etc. I even saw years of 1936, 1939, 1942 embossed on many of guards cabins... I don't understand why .... may be because these were public utility properties. Sad.

Punjabi villagers are not ‘poor’ they hard working and live an honest life with a high standard of living. Compare a Punjabi village home to an Indian city home, who is really ‘poor’ now?
My Grandparents and Parents were born in ROPAR Indian Punjab and growing up have heard so many stories from them about the friends and the houses they left behind when they migrated to Pakistani Punjab in 1947. Watching this Vlog and going through the streets of ROPAR made me cry, even though I had never been there... this is the power of "MITTI" and "ManBoli" (Mother tongue)
A Pakistani translating an Indian language for Karthikeyan. That's the beauty of my India. We repect our differences and this is what we mean when we say India has Unity in Diversity. I think Karthik has to be given more camera time and see his reactions 😂. He is just like my Tamil friends who get confused when we North Indians do stupid things and we have to explain everything to them afterwards. Also Villages of Punjab are mesmerizing. And so amazing to see a young sarpanch leading his village. I love my India so much. Never a dull they, never a day without learning something new about India. Thank you Abrar bhai for this series. ❤
Respect bro but Punjabi isn’t an Indian language there are 5x more punjabis in pakistan than in india. And Punjabi itself is an indo Aryan language not Indian rather you should say subcontinental

Once upon a time there were two bike-buddies Abrar and Kartik who travelled India and showed the world that love and peace is borderless. After watching this video as a Pakistani I ask myself a question: Why we got separate at the first place when we are all same.
Religion is the major cause, Islam doesn't promote co existence,i know you don't trust me but plz read verses of quran 9:5 and 19:83-19:84 ,its the cause plz read them
@@Ghost.Nappa56 true. That's why till date zamindari system is still active in Pakistan whereas it has been abolished since independence here in India.. Unhone land reform.. State reorganisation ye sab kiya hi nahi. Wo haal me he they started calling pashtoon state as kpk Warna haal tak wo NWFP jo tha.
Allow me to rephrase your question and ALSO answer it. It wasn't " we" who got separated, it was YOU who separated. As for why? Short answer, a handful of Muslim elite, the zamindars & jaghirdars wanted to grab the land and wealth of the Hindu and Sikh minority in Punjab/ sindh and Bengal. They got what they wanted, the bengalis of East Bengal got disgusted with the loot and separated and they are doing rather well now. But those looters are still looting you.

Whenever I feel sad about the politics of India and Pakistan, I read the comments from Abrar's India series and instantly my sorrows turn into happiness... What difference a bit of love can bring... What an incredible series it has been and I can only imagine the experiences Abrar had in this journey across India... I am sure it will be in his memories for a long time... It takes a certain amount of courage to come to India from across the border which was evident in the initial episode where Abrar said he wants to have a positive experience and would be careful about the drone footage and how he urged his audience to keep the politics aside... Little did he knew the positive influence his videos will have on people from both sides of the border... You have done a truly remarkable job. Lots of love and respect for his courage, effort and openness to absorb the culture. He is a true traveler and a wonderful person. His mannerisms are captivating... Enjoyed every bit of your India series. God bless 🙏🙏

Your early morning cycle ride with Gurbani in the background was out of the world. It is a mesmerizing experience. Thru your lens even many Indians must have realized that how beautiful and united and loving is India and it's people. I also appreciate that you have shown all positive aspects of our India. I am a sikh and I had the opportunity to visit my dad's village in Pakistan near Pasroor and Deska and I had the same feeling as you had while cycling through the village. May Allah bless you always.

As a Pakistani, my preconceived notions of India being our perpetual rival were forcefully shattered upon witnessing the transformative narrative depicted in Abrar Hassan's remarkable video series. 🇵🇰😮🇮🇳 His captivating footage compellingly dismantled my misguided perceptions, revealing a nation that defied all expectations: hospitable, inclusive, and undeniably sweet. 🎥🌟 This profound revelation has transcended the confines of my mind, permanently altering my perspective on our neighboring country and forging a newfound appreciation for India's warm embrace. 🌍🤝💖 Abrar Hassan's eye-opening chronicles truly exemplify the extraordinary power of challenging preconceived biases and fostering amity in the face of adversity.
Most Indians are pretty much aware of the level of brainwashing done by Pak establishment in books like Pak studies for example. Educated people like you can decide between right and wrong once truth comes in front of you. But majority people will miss the bus of knowing the reality for their entire lives. Hope this awareness which you experienced through his vlogs grows further in Pakistan for a better tomorrow.

Punjab, Haryana, West UP have villages that are very rich. Here people earn more than cities. That is why you can see they all wear nice clothes, have big beautiful houses and clean roads. Unlike in other states, where farmers are starving and poor, where farmers try to sell their land, Punjabi, Haryanvi and West UP villagers have their own land which is family owned. All thanks to Green Revolution of 1960s. This was Gandhiji's vision, where villages are transformed to cities but are rather changed to independant self-sufficient communities❤

Punjabi villagers are not ‘poor’ they hard working and live an honest life with a high standard of living. Compare a Punjabi village home to an Indian city home, who is really ‘poor’ now?

Religion is the major cause, Islam doesn't promote co existence,i know you don't trust me but plz read verses of quran 9:5 and 19:83-19:84 ,its the cause plz read them
It's complicated. But hope for a peaceful coexistence.

The enmity is surface-level. It goes away when people meet each other without any prejudices.
Why you so this?

Yup, I am really in awe of Kartikeyan, an amazing guy and a pillar of support for Abrar, who is a great guy, very down to earth and humble....
Take Care n may God bless you both....
I'm from Kerala , love Punjabi villages, there were many Malayalam movies that showcased villages of Punjab
Can you tell me movie name please
@@manjotsingh7238 there was a movie called mallu Singh
@@manjotsingh7238 My personal favorite - "Godha" with Wamiqa Gabbi. There's a hindi dub version in youtube, but they ruined the songs :)
Welcome to Punjab, hope you enjoyed your stay here. Enjoyed watching your videos so much, Waheguru ji mehar karan 🙏
Beautiful Punjab village. It is awesome!! Karthikeyan is indeed an excellent companion and friend.
Dudh Patti...yes dudh Patti ( not tea ) is consumed and served in Punjab Village house holds... Punjab culture and food will evince more interest from Kartikey and citizens from his parent state . Abrar does speak Punjabi fluently and is in know of Punjab style of living. The contribution of Karthik in Abrar Epic journey of India is immense but silent . The silence which knocks at everyone,s heart and soul. Through the eyes of Karthik and Silken speech of Abrar our dream journey of India has been memorable and aspiring...it,s glow will remain bright and warm with tremendous love pouring for Abrar and Karthik by thier followers. Thanks Abrar for showcasing to the world....THE REAL INDIA. L O V E ❤
The canal was Bhakra bai jee. Chardha Punjab didnt have British Canals like Lehnda so most of them are post independence.
Villages are the love, you wake up early mornings and the first thing you hear is the voice of Gurbani, that's the real peace❤️💙
Abrar bhai jab bhi India aur Pakistan ke logon mein yeh mohabbat dekhta mujhe goosebumps aa jate hain ...and this video once again made me feel goosebumps...such a lovely and emotional video....life is very short so every human being must love each other....love from India❤.
Abrar bhai is blessed and privileged to be exploring our entire country without any security issues and hiccups specially being a pakistani... look at the amount of hospitality and respect being showered by our people to him. It goes to reflect our culture "Athithi devo bhava" I never saw any hostility for him. It tells we are always for peace and brotherhood if reciprocated specially considering our relations with Pakistan. I am glad he always felt at home. That is India for you. I wish Abrar bhai all the very best for his future tours and trips. Though he has visited uncountable countries but I am sure this will be his best lifelong trip.
True indian spotted.....
Agreed 100%. Indians are the most open, generous, trusting, secular and encompassing of all people of the world.

In India, we never discuss things on religious lines. It is about humanity and good human values. From our childhood, we have been bred on a secular and all encompassing society. The idea of India. The day we all do that, the entire region will become a paradise. Let’s all pray and have our children live in that paradise. Ameen.

Ufff Punjab ki vibe hi alag hai, ek lamhay ky lia lagta hai ky aap apni purani sb tensions bhool jaty ho, or us hawa mein wo tamam tensions urr jati hain, Sakon, meri bhi ab khuwahish hai ky mein apny dada dadi ka shehr jalandhar dekhun. Lots of love from Pakistan to charhda Punjab and India
