People obsessed is actually pretty accurate. My lab is still dealing with some neediness and will bark in certain situations if I’m not in the room with him (he’s a lot better than he was, thankfully). He’s literally my shadow, and while he loves everyone, he seems to think I’m the center of the universe and constantly wants my undivided attention. It’s my fault, though, since I work from home and he’s essentially around me all day; unless he’s in daycare, which I try to do frequently. He’s fine when being around others, but as soon as he knows I’m around it’s back to laying at my feet or wanting to play tug with one of his toys.
I have two females Labrador retrievers,they are excellent in staying at home by themselves,if they run it takes 10 minutes and they’re tired 😅they prefer steady walks than running.I do agree they would eat all the time but I can’t see a huge difference between other breeds,I had different dogs in my life and I would say they would eat all the time too.I’m actually really surprised how calm they are,people think these dogs are crazy but no they’re all different as we people.
If you can’t meet the associated needs these traits bring, yes - as the video says. It’s not a list of “what’s bad about Labs” but rather why some people aren’t suitable for owning one. :)

Our lab is mix with swiss shepherd (the medium size) so the drool lakes are unbelievable just when food is somewhere nearby 😂
So your shouldnt get a Lab becouse they have a high food drive, love people and love to work with people?
