An Elden Ring player tries Bloodborne for the first time!
This is the fifth part of my trying the souls game Bloodborne for the first time! Bloodborne is an incredible game similar to Elden ring and Sekiro: shadows die twice. Both games that I have beaten before. Now I continue to play through Bloodborne and face new challenges along the way. Enjoy!

Thanks for watching!
Pro Tip: You can continue swinging at enemies during their death animations to heal HP back.
Yeah which makes more sense if you know how game programming works, usually an enemy can’t actually die unless it has a death animation as that’s normally what triggers “death” so in 99% of games if an enemy is at 0 health it’s not considered dead yet
Yea I can remember that you can still get graped and right after that it is death so they are not dead if they are at 0hp
Rip all the NPC at the chapel
Oh, they are getting ripped
Is not like they live happily ever after anyways. Options in Bloodborne only change the way or when they die 😛
@@xian1978 not only in Bloodborne but in every soulsborne game and that makes me sad
@@xian1978nope, in all three endings spells bad for everyone else except you.
@@amir2ali0 True, but there are rare instances where an NPC actually survives and has a good end. It's a miracle
As a resident of Scotland I can confirm that you are in the depths of Glasgow
Actually more so Edinburg they did some fucked up shit there back in the Victorian era that inspired a lot of Bloodborne.
As a veteran of bloodborne, watching a blind playthrough is quite amusing
Pour one out for the NPC homies
@@xfactor2094F
Help me with amygdala plz
@@Taytahead I need to see if it's still downloaded
@@Bigred42260 ok
You invited him.. and my soul cried.
If you swing at him... he transforms into a mini-boss. You done screwed up. lol
So happy to see so many people finally playing my favorite game! Your vids are especially laid back
Thanks! I'm loving Bloodborne so far.
@@itsSpicyGamingdefinitely one of the best FromSoftware games no doubt. I first started watching you channel when the first Bloodborne playthrough was put out. You’re amazing!
No bro they're playing MY favorite game
0:38 Bloodborne is heavily inspired by medical practices in Edinburg Scotland during the Victorian era so essentially yes!
I had no idea! It makes sense though. Great fact.
Be sure to go to Iosefka's Clinic, the back entrance is in the Forbidden Woods and if you go there you can also get the Cainhurst Summons which let you go to Cainhurst Castle. You also have to go through a poison swamp to get to said Clinic so have fun xD
Don't approach Iosefka in her clinic until after you kill a certain spider, at which point you can approach her, kill her, and get one third of an umbilical cord
@@Sunnyflowers95thank you I’ve been trying to figure that one out
Also in the forbidden woods, at the house with the red light by the dogs infront of the secret entrance to Iosefka's clinic the npc in the house gives you the Tonsil Stone which you need to access the DLC
@@GylleneGott thank you for the warning havent started dlc yet either trying to do a few playthroughs first
@@GylleneGottBruh, Tonsil Stone only gives you access to the Nightmare Frontier
To access the DLC, you the Eye of a Blood-Drunk Hunter which you can get in the Hunter's Dream after killing Amelia
11:21 ah… RIP Arianna. If you’d have visited Losefka’s Clinic again you could have sent this guy to her and gotten some sweet loot for free. Ah well, in the end, it’s all just a dream anyway.
I looked at my wife and said " oh no, he just did the thing. Imma look at the comments to see if anybody's gonna tell him..."
So the guy you sent to Oeden Chapel, the guy you “scared”. All I’m going to say is what you said as you were deciding whether or not to send him there was so on point it’s hilarious.
yo spicy you should go to the DLC area. You need the "Eye of a Blood-drunk Hunter" (which you already have) and get grabbed by the massive mosquito looking dude outside the cathedral ward. Love your videos and good to see you back!
Thanks! I'll probably do the DLC close to the final boss but I'll be sure to do it before then
@@itsSpicyGamingmake sure to do it before the last bosses or else you will miss some dialogues.
@@itsSpicyGaming please please please do it before Wet Nurse. it's the boss after Micolash. There's a twist after you defeat Wet Nurse but none of the DLC specific dialogue with the Doll will play after you beat Wet Nurse. Also don't skip the dialogue after beating the DLC bosses. Pls.
beasthood: keep attacking, feast on their blood. the more damage you do, the more damage you take; but it gives some pretty crazy damage output against bosses.
Bro watching you walk around with 30 - 60k blood echos was giving me some anxiety 💀.
Ngl, i do be walking around with millions blood echos
I always end up like that in games because I never spend any money. I once made it to the final boss in a game without upgrading my weapon once and was so confused when I had trouble
Same.
I recommend that you kill that suspicious man immediately next time you see him, just to limit the casualties.
you just killed everyone in the chapel 💀
btw on the broken bridge where you got the "lake" rune, there's a secret area you can get to with a certain invitation letter
Beasthood is not explained in game. Its basicly some berserk mode. You take a pellet and gain a buff, for the duration every attack gives you beasthood, beasthood increases damage dealt AND damage taken
Edit: the bonus damage dealt only counts for physical damage, the bonus damage taken for all dmg types
beast blood pelets are the more meter you have the more damage you do and you get meter by attacking
Idk if you did this already, but since no one's talking about it, you can talk to the guy in the shack with the red lantern at 9:20 (or any other NPC after entering the Forbidden Woods) to get an item. I suggest you read that item's description.
The suspicious beggar is gonna start killing npcs. You should kill him so he doesn’t murder the whole chapel.
Poor church guys. Dont trust peeps feasting on corpses dude
BRO REALLY REVEAL ODEON CHAPEL TO THE CANNIBAL WTH
you may want to go back to the chapel and deal with that npc. soon. like don't wait any longer!!
In all the years I've played this game, I've never seen like 99% of the glitches that you've managed to encounter. 😂
Yooo the mushroom biome music! Let's go
I looove terraria music!
We have missed our trademark poison swamp
“Bloodborne enemies only know one of these three things: throw Molotov, be a dog, fear the old blood” that always makes me laugh
I replayed this in last two months and achieved all 3 endings. It's such a good game.
Definitely the least flawed FS game, only played it twice though and the last time I beat it in 8 hours, did most bosses on 1-2 tries and I was pretty surprised. It doesn't feel as replay friendly as Dark Souls tbh but I absolutely loved Bloodborne anyways
BLOODBORNE BRAIN ROT RN AND IM ENJOYING ALL THE BB CONTENT 😍😍
I had no idea all these random physics glitches existed. Great video, btw I just finished shura ending in sekiro, one more playthrough left.
6:48 that's the neat part, you don't.
In all seriousness that has ended some speedruns.
As for beasthood it makes you take more damage but deal more physical damage (it won't make a difference for the lightning effect on Tonitrus but will for its physical, it fills up quickly on the Holy Blade which makes it a powerful weapon for pve).
When activated you take 1.2x damage but deal 1.2 times damage - if you fill a bar at or past 300 beasthood you will take 1.8x damage and deal 1.7x damage which is useful because you will be hitting the enemy more times than they will hit you (fun fact this also applies to visceral attacks making them potential 1-shot kills). In order to increase potential beasthood you'll need to have low insight and wearing clothes with high beasthood (and by runes but those aren't necessary to get max beasthood - I find the metamorphisis runes too useful).
Fun fact, the fall damage for a non-lethal fall is lowered by having high beasthood runes.
- Also there is a cave just past the dog cages if you follow the left side of the map past the bridge at the start of forbidden woods, it has some interesting items (although there will be an npc there that you should not kill).
Funny thing you can do with the cannon, use a right hand gun weapon, you’ll find one later, and parry using it. Shooting with your left hand weapons after a parry increases the damage and is probably even better than doing the reposte for strength builds, (skill increases reposte damage). before you fire your cannon you can use the bone marrow ash to further increase your next attack and the cannon can deal some major damage.
In summary,
1. bone marrow ash on cannon
2. parry with right handed gun
3. Shoot the cannon
4. GG
Been waiting 168 hours for this to drop
I'll put the next one out quicker 😅
Thank you for using the Underground Mushroom Biome music from Terraria, that genuinely made my day
"How's he so good at dodging?"
It's called "Input Reading", look it up.
The beasts blood pellets explain :
The more you damage the more the damage you do
* there’s a bar you can tell of it “
tip- you'll find an invitation in the clinic; use that in the road that's cut off in Hemwick. The back entrance to the clinic is in the Forbidden Woods.
Also, you'll find an unmarked invitation; give that to Alfred
the Terraria music for the mushroom guys was the best
Don’t worry I did the exact same thing and sent a cannibal to the chapel and had no idea why people started going missing 😂😂
You can access chanhurst castle by walking up to the big grave looking thing with the blue light at the gate shortcut you openned before fighting the witches of hemwick
I really enjoy your videos :)
Kill the man you sent to Oedon Chapel IMMEDIATELY. Also in the first half of he Forbidden Woods (the arra before you unlocked the first elevator) there's a secret path near some dogs that are in cages: I suggest you to explore that path. Also, if you have an item called Tonsil Stone, go to the second giant creature mosquito thing and allow her to grab you. Love your videos, and the way you do them😊
No no, let him learn
2nd easiest souls game after elden ring. (Until Ludwig. Sweet baby jesus)
The tonitrus is really only viable if your doing an arcane build. Unless your leveling arcane and putting bolt gems in it I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s great when your arcane stat is leveled up
This game looks incredible and the edits are hilarious.
It's not a hard game, but also not too easy, like a very nice well cooked roast beef
The rifle spear hunter is the most annoying fight in the whole game
I seriously don't understand all these glitches, i didn't see any in my 2 playthroughs
probably a result of playing on PS5. That or RUclipsr luck.
ahhh interesting
one thing in the forbidden woods you can actually find a posion swamp and find a exit to iosefkas clinic and there you can find the cainhurst summons and try not to kill any player npcs save them for after the next boss fight
As someone who has played several of the soulsborne games multiple times, it is a ton of fun to watch someone experience bloodborne for the first time
I'm excited to see your reaction to Rom xD
Really loving watching this playthrough!
Also, if no on has mentioned it yet, your Visceral Attack damage is based on your Skill (DEX) stat.
Now that I think about it, it would have been terrifying to see Cthulu in the water when picking up the lake glyph
Idk much about other souls games. But in Bloodborne your stats are extremely important to the weapon you’re using. Tonitrus is meant for arcane builds. So, if you have high arcane, it’s a pretty good weapon. And if you don’t know how to play Bloodborne, of course, it’s gonna be a bad weapon.
There are no bad weapons in Bloodborne. Just bad players.
Used the tonitris in my first ever playthrough of bloodborne. Also happened to be my first souls game run. Underrated weapon got me through the game good. Later game great one bosses also weak to electricity
After defeating blood starved beast you gained a chalice
Chalice dungeons can be accessed from the hunters dream
In them are:exclusive bosses, blood gems, and lots of enemies and items to find. They come in two flavors, the static story dungeons and the randomly generated dungeons which can be further tweaked for harder challenge but better rewards.
They’re not everyone’s cup of tea but worth checking out at least.
Loving the blind playthrough!
Keep it up bro ur doin a great job 👏
Thank you!! Working hard to keep getting better right now. Things like this keep me super motivated ✌️😄
“I might have just made a grave mistake”
Yuuuuup
I literally just watched the first 3 vids today this is epic
You've made me restart bloodborne. Thank you for that
11:23 best quote of RUclips history right here
you can buy a hand lantern or a torch from the messengers in the hunters dream. the lantern lets you get light without having to change your gun out the torch needs a weapon equip space but gives a stronger source of light. it will be very useful for darker areas in the future
Everythin that does elemental damage pretty much scales with arcane, so tonitrus is great for arcane builds, just like how ludwigs greatsword is dogshit for arcane builds ;P
Yes, you're in Scotland. Yharnam has some architecture styles from Prague, but the lores and cultures reference the history of Edinburgh.
Guys why does his every door npc just shouts random sounds ? Mine are always proper conversation. Did he do something different or I did something wrong
Dude that hunter FLEW, omg. I can't believe you got his ass stuck in the wall. 😂🤣
I know my comment was suuuuuuper long, but in your last video I left a comment about a few things just to help make sure you dont miss them. Not sure if you saw it but it has some helpful info without too many spoilers if you're interested. 😊
Haha you encountered the BUCKET MINI BOSS. You can break them if theyre in your way. 😂
I know you found the boss, buttttt in case you go through the Forbidden Woods again and get lost, follow the lit lanters. They light the correct path.
You did super well against Shadows! Impressive! They are quite challenging your first playthrough because their fight is so different from other bosses.
Can't wait for the next one, you're killing it!
You’re sick for sending the suspicious beggar to the chapel 😅
Just found your channel, and now I'm addicted!!! Hahahahah keep going fren!!! Amazing content.
Thank you! I'm always happy to see new viewers
I remember going through the woods and telling my friends it was getting difficult. They said i had 2 more bosses to get through before the gane gets hard. Thise could not be truer words lol
This editing is top tier as was your commentary. I was in tears!
He’s Getting The Lucky Playthroughs
Vibe and a Half
I was about to play Elden Ring and and instead have watched 4 of your Bloodborne videos 🙄
Holy shit. Watching this video shows me the shitload of game I missed. I killed Rom. I havent seen half of this content
Byrgenwerth is next on his list. You know what that means, things are going to get a lot more horrifying very soon.......
when i got there i was level 129 because of a dungeon (cummmfpk)
I can’t get over the amount of enemies that phase through the walls, I’ve played the game 4 times and I’ve never seen that happen😂
Tonitrus is boss. Especially when used against otherkin.
My brother of the old blood, you can turn off emotes by simply un-equipped them.
you must not have updated game. I have not seen near the number of glitches on my playthroughs
Alot of people who say it's too easy are the people who super abused the echoes glitch and had overleveld characters
I need to yo back to this game it’s fun but I suck lol
It's the easiest Soulslike tho. At least the main game is (besides German and Gascogne) very easy imo. Most bosses are very predictable and slow. I have the feeling they designed most bosses off of dark souls 1 bosses and put new mechanics of blood borne in the game for the player and made the player faster.I first tried 50% bosses in my BLIND playthrough. And I'm not even a souls veteran. I played only dark souls 1 before bloodborne.
It isn't a soulslike that's if the game wasn't made by fromsoft but okays similar 😂
Tonitrus can not be the greatest weapon, but it's fun to use.
If you like it somehow, wait to se the BOOMhammer.
You can buy a lamp which you can keep at your from the messengers shop
Beast blood pellet: Depends on how high your beasthood stat is more effect it will have. Fill the bar by attacking (heavy atks fill faster than light)
With over 300+ beasthood it will increase your damage by 1.7 when full. But put down your defense by 0.2 so be careful at full bar.
Best weapon to fill the bar is the R2 on the Wheel 🛞 (plus the self buff of the wheel it's gets insane)
It can be very useful to deal massive damage. Most players don't understand its mechanics. READ the Wiki to learn more info then what is provided in game ✌️
Also yes its only for physical damage
Cant get passed the damn dude with minigun or whatever, i cant kill em
Oh those poor chapel folk… ouch. Great stuff though as always.
Go back to the start of the game and go back, you will find something interesting (a door, you can talk to someone inside). Unless its too late...
If you couldn't get to it search up (Iosefka's Clinic)
Bro what is your end card?! It is such a //VIBE//
theres a cave with giants in the forest that you lost and is veeeery impotant
Who's the troll who told him Tonitrus is good lol
The upgrading of weapons goes stone, twin stone, chunk, then blood rock, a blood rock can be found in the mensis nightmare (later area)up in the bridge that causes frenzy
I'm on the final chalice dungeon in my first playthrough and the enemy i despise most are those brain suckers, the ridiculous amount of insight ive lost to them.
4:28 LOL have not seen that one before! That shit had me dying
You ever kill an enemy and it says “NUH UH”
If you miss an item because the corpse fall to the depths of Hell or is inside a wall log out and re-enter, it respawn on it predetermined place waiting for you to scavenge it
You can tell from soft reuses a lot of animations for their enemies…
I’m watching through this as someone who had picked up bloodborne for my yearly completion of the game and I love seeing this guys content
i finally after so many years played this game (luckily i still have a ps4 and had bought a copy of the game)
tip: all this blobby enemies (brain suckers and the "mushroons") are weak to thrust damage
Beast Blood Pellets gives you Multiple damages as you keep attacking it raises the bar above. Great for bosses
