    I feel like it’s reaching too much for you to contact them three times. I know it was an inconvenience for you to go back and return the card and it was their fault. But I would have just been done with it and know in good faith I returned the card. Even if they didn’t call I would have returned it regardless. No need for me ti get something in return. The fact that the other customer isn’t panicking anymore is good enough for me. Plus it’s not Dior’s fault. It’s the associate at the store’s fault. I know you didn’t feel appreciated by said associate, but it could be a lot worse.

    Bottle of champagne 🍾 almost feels like it’s from their leftovers from their grand opening celebration. Dior voucher or Dior products/samples would have seemed more appropriate ❤

    I still can’t believe it took you reaching out three times for them to send you a thank you for your trouble. And the manager never even contacted you after all that? That’s pretty disappointing. I’m glad they did end up acknowledging your kindness though.

    Amber I think it’s great they sent you the champagne but I think It would have shown even better customer service and appreciation if they had taken the initiative and done this without you having to call and ask for a small token for your kind deed.     It shouldn’t matter what she got!!! It’s the thought that counts ! What did you people think ??? Dior was gonna send her a free Saddle bag ? Ok I will agree they could of sent her a perfume or Dior make up , a gift card etc… but in the end its the thought that counts , amber didn’t have to go back or even answer the phone for that matter but she did & her act of kindness also should of been without expectation!

    Amber if I were you I wouldn’t have called the store regarding how I felt. I think contacting Dior’s customer service line would’ve been better as you had to call THREE times. This is unacceptable customer service and you did the right thing but they should’ve definitely done something without you contacting them. If never hurts to contact their customer service line and explain what happened especially that you’re a valuable customer. ❤️

    I have to say, I don't agree with commenters saying that the good deed should have been enough. You were inconvenienced significantly, and their first thought should have been how they could thank you for that kindness. As a business owner, I cannot even imagine having someone go out of their way like this and just being like, "Thanks so much, peace out." And especially for Dior - someone said you wouldn't have done this if it was Target, and I just simply don't see their customer service experiences as being equal, and I'm not sure they even should be. You're a good customer at Dior - anyone who spends Dior prices is a good customer - and their customer service should reflect their company's brand and reputation as a luxury designer. When you buy an engagement ring at Tiffany, you get champagne - you wouldn't expect champagne if you bought it from Costco, even if the quality was the same. That's life, right or wrong.
    I'm glad they did something for you!

    It’s a nice gesture but for you to have asked first is ridiculous. Second, alcohol? I for sure thought when you said it’s heavy it would be a gift set of skincare or something along those lines. 🤪

    Being a usual costumer, they shouldn’t buy you champagne. They already know what you like. A simple lipstick or something like that. It’s a risk to send you that present. Anyway, they did it. That is the thing.

    I don't think you should have had to reach out so many times and I also think a token bottle of perfume or cosmetic bag/summer release would have been more appropriate! The person whose card it was probably received more for the mistake that was made with their card! That said, you are a kind person and you were really only hoping for an acknowledgement (without having to ask 3 times!) x

    Hi Amber! I agree with one comment below. It wasn't right that you had to contact them three times. It was THEIR responsability.
    This shows that their public relations team isn't good.
    I am glad they sent you something. However I think that since you didn't buy peanuts (but a pair of pretty expensive earrings) at a luxury boutique, they should have sent you something related to BEAUTY.
    A discount code, a sample set, a keychain, a pin, a pouch or even flowers would have been better.
    It seems kind of tacky or lack of commitment to the brand by their employees to have sent you alcohol.
    I mean it's like the quickest way to deal with something. Sending something so impersonal.
    The card was ok. But really? Alcohol??
    I am very disappointed by Dior's team. I can't imagine how you felt.

    I think you got the short end of the stick with the bottle of champagne. I’m not a drinker either (not an alcoholic) but it’s interesting to me that they would send alcohol. They have no idea if you are one or not? I would have thought a nice card and perfume samples would have been better in my opinion. Super weird that you had to contact them so many times. Good for you Amber for not giving up.

    Not what I was expecting from Dior not to seem ungrateful or anything but just my honest thoughts.I was thinking little samples with there catalog something that represents them. But I will say what you did was very very nice of you. I believe that we attract what we give and you have amazing things coming your way🤩🤩🤩🙌🏽🙌🏽Amber you have a heart of gold!! God bless❤

    Hmmmmm 🤔🤔ok so I don’t want to sound bad but my opinion. I don’t think you should have had to reach out especially not 3x. I also don’t feel you should have even left the store without them showing you gratitude for their mistake. Had you not reached out I don’t think they would have acknowledged your good deed. So it does leave a slight bad taste for me. You 100% could have said no I can’t bring the card I have plans I will mail it or I’ll try to make it back next day. And it wasn’t even your mistake you were rectifying. I think I’m just more disappointed that you had to call and ask 😢😢.

    I'm glad they acknowledged your good deed/kindness. Like I mentioned in my last comment, I think they may have been too busy when you returned the card to give you something at that time but I'm glad you reached out to them. Strange that the manager did not get back to you, did something happen to them?. And I'm surprised you had to keep following up with them. I'm not too surprised they sent you champagne because depending on the items they carry, they may not have had beauty items or fragrance samples. I know this is the way it is at the flagship store in Toronto, Canada. It was a nice gesture from Dior though.

    Champagne is nice but when you returned the card they should have asked you what your favorite Dior fragrance is and given you a bottle of it. They need customer service training and etiquette lessons.

    I found your experience interesting as I've been told repeatedly how Dior has such fantastic customer service. Better than the other houses. This just proves your experience is all relative based on whatever store you visit and who works there. I'm glad they sent you a thank you but it does bother me that you had to contact them several times to receive it. 😑

    They should've reached out and sent you a gift card in the amount it costs for gas for the round trip you had to drive to return a card that they mistakenly put in your bag.

    Wow that was really nice of them and that’s a good champagne. I feel you with not expecting anything but feeling almost dismissed. I was eating out the other day and the guy next to me got up with his wife and child and left his wallet behind. I got up and chased him down in the parking lot just to get a thanks…like it was no big deal.

    Oh, Champagne 🥂🍾 !!! That's a nice gift with a typical french touch! From a french House! That makes sense to me. Everyone in Europe would be happy about a bottle of Moët et Chandon Champagne. I have seen some of the comments. I'm surprised how negative they are. Champagne belongs to the best memories you can have: it sparkles in cups at weddings, birthdays, family gatherings, big achievements, special dates like proposal, ... Champagne is a symbol of tradition and heritage. Produced since the 17th century and only in a small region named Champagne and situated in the north-east of France. And I know that most of the french brands usually gift Champagne to their best customers at Christmas or their birthday 🎂!! To drink Champagne (with moderation!!!) is SOOO french and luxury!!! These negative comments are to me like a slap in my french face!!! Probably the result of a cultural clash?!? Anyway, happy to hear that Dior has appreciated your kindness, Amber!

    I’m glad Dior eventually sent you something for your trouble. However, it is a bit annoying to hear that it took 3 additional follow up from your end for them to act on it. I think the manager should have reached out to at least follow up with you. That is what they should have done and maybe then offer something to see if it fits your lifestyle. Even a free lipstick or discount for your next order instore would have been a good gesture. They probably could have looked up your Dior order history to see what you’ve ordered and offer something in line with the purchase history. So many ways to make it right….

    Call me ungrateful but a bottle of champagne? A gift card would’ve said more. You spent money at their store. You took time out of your day to go back. Gas is also not the cheapest. Idk something about it rubs me the wrong way.

    It’s nice that they acknowledge your effort, but I think gifting alcohol to someone you don’t know is a bad idea. If they’re not able to give you a gift card, they could have asked if you have a favorite lipstick or something like that and give you that with a pouch and some minis/samples.

    They should have done something special for you without you having to call them. To send you alcohol was not the BEST gift. What if someone at your residence was an alcoholic? That is more of a personal gift. They should have gifted you a gift card to make you even want to go back to the store and give them your business or makeup/perfumes would have been an appropriate gift. All the shopping and you talk so highly of Dior on your channel. They should be embarrassed.

    Beautiful letter. AFTER 3X's!!!!!! The manager may not had reached out because the manager may have Still not known. My heart skipped a beat when your CA wasn't there to receive the card. Additional thoughts, they should have had something for you when you went back....and ALCOHOL was not it. Not trying to be mean but, if it was my credit card lost and you got it back to me, you would have gotten More than a bottle of wine or at least I would have asked. EVERYONE doesn't drink alcohol.     Show me a bottle of champagne that they have in the back of the store room for when they are high end customers come in to give them a drink is an insult it’s like saying all we don’t give out products out for anything you have to buy them that’s how I took it.     I hate to say it but even after you contacted them you still had to follow up multiple times ! That isn’t even close to the level of service I’d expect from a luxury brand. I wonder how this whole interaction sits with you and if you think it’ll impact your desire to shop with them.

    I’m not impressed. First of all, they don’t know if you even drink. Why not just send a gift card? I would probably contact corporate. Heck, they could have just given you a gas card. At least that would have been something you could use.
