This is a great way to set up a quest; not by playing to the party's greed, but instead to their sympathy. True, they want the cool and deadly weapon, but the heartstring tugging is what really drew them in.

I just realized that the Mighty Nein left Kiri (perfect small, nimble, and cunning Kenku) in a town closer to the Jorhassian border with acquaintances who run a shop to get all kinds of gadgets and gear from.
This is the perfect place for Kiri to become the Batman-like rogue we all dream of being.
Hupperdook is actually quite far away from Xhorhas, I'm just saying.

Yeah, that's one of those little Beau moments where I was like, ok, I'm finding you about 20% less annoying lol. I really liked that she took the time to try to get Rissa to be nicer to her dad. It's a good character moment.
@@mayaenglish5424 Ive liked beau since the beginning, and little moments like this combined with her strange but cute friendship with Caleb are why.
I love me a good redemption arc, and to me, she is a shitty person who found a little redemption in this bizarre found family, and wants to be better if only for them.
I think Marisha said in an interview that part of her wanting to be better than she was was because of how she treated and viewed Mollymawk when he was alive and is her way of honoring him.
I miss Victor.
