That ending note was spot on! As Christians we should be praying for Muslims during this month as they seek to draw closer to their god that they would instead come to discover the One True God! This is a spiritually heavy month for them. As Matthew 7:7-8 says “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Pray that Muslims all over the world would come to find true peace and salvation with God on their spiritual journey.

We know that if we knock on a door, it will open, and if we work, we will succeed. These things are clear, but the goal of fasting is greater than that. We do not aim to knock on any door or to obtain something material. We fast for God for the love of God. , We control our endless desires and lusts ,without forgetting the health benefits of fasting that are proven by science, and by fasting we are the masters of ourselves and not followers of our desires like animals.

We Muslims worship the Almighty Creator who is 1 with no divisions, no partners, no childrens or parents, he's unlike anything, you cannot compare him to anything.
This is the same Lord that Jesus Peace be Upon him worshipped when he put his forehead tp the ground (It's called Sajda or Prostration that we do at least 32 times a day)
A question for Christians, why would one who you claim is God would worship God?
Why would "God" ask for Help!?
In John 17: 5, Jesus prays and asks God the Father to glorify Him in His presence with the same glory that He had with God before the world began.
Jesus never claimed to be God, he was a prophet of God. Christians say why would the Pharisees accuse him of claiming to be god? Well the Pharisees accused him of being a kakopoios (a malificus, magician, or wonderworker).
Christians say Jesus was born of a Virgin Mary, so his father is God.
Yes, Muslims accept that however he is not a son of god and Allah swt clears this misconception.

But you got it wrong: There _is no_ "fasting" during Ramadan. There's _FEASTING!_ It's a very subtle difference -- only a letter's worth -- but one of these involves abstaining from food and drink (fasting), and the other involves eating three times as much as usual for the whole month -- only inverting the time of day during which one normally eats, so that you don't eat while the sun is up but gorge yourselves while it is down. This is why massive weight gain is common during the """fast""" of Ramadan.

You can go to PubMed -- the database for medical and scientific studies -- and search for "Ramadan weight gain." It's a VERY well-known phenomenon in the Muslim world. You might not like the way I said it -- but everything I said about Ramadan is absolutely TRUE. Muslims tend to eat three times more that month, than they do any other. All they do is invert the usual human schedule of eating during the day and not at night, and greatly increase the amount eaten overall.

    Nop, Ramadan has pagan roots.
Ramadan has Pagan Roots in India and the Middle East
Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and the rigid observance of thirty days of fasting during the daylight hours, has pagan roots developed in India and the Middle East. The observance of fasting to honor the moon, and ending the fast when the moon’s crescent appears, was practiced with the rituals of the Eastern worshippers of the moon. Both Ibn al-Nadim and the Shahrastani tell us about al-Jandrikinieh, an Indian sect which began to fast when the moon disappeared and ended the fast with a great feast when the crescent reappeared.
The Sabians, who were pagans in the Middle East, were identified with two groups, the Mandaeans and the Harranians. The Mandaeans lived in Iraq during the 2nd century A.D. As they continue to do today, they worshipped multiple gods, or “light personalities.” Their gods were classified under four categories: “first life,” “second life,” “third life” and “fourth life.” Old gods belong to the “first life” category. They summoned deities who, in turn, created “second life” deities, and so forth.
The other group, considered as Sabians, were the Harranians. They worshipped Sin, the moon, as their main deity, but they also worshipped planets and other deities. The Sabians were in contact with Ahnaf, an Arabian group which Mohammed joined before claiming to be a prophet. Ahnaf sought knowledge by going to Northern Iraq, where there were many communities of Mandaeans. They also went to the city of Harran in the al-Jazirah district in northern Syria on the border between Syria, Iraq and Asia Minor.
In Mecca, the Ahnaf were called Sabians because of the doctrines they embraced. Later, when Mohammed claimed to be a prophet, he was called a Sabian by the inhabitants of Mecca because they saw him performing many Sabian rites which included praying five times a day; performing several movements in prayer that were identical with the Mandaeans and the Harranians; and making ablution, or ceremonial washing, before each prayer. In the Qur'an, Mohammed called the Sabians “people of the book” like the Jews and Christians.
Ramadan was a pagan ceremony practiced by the Sabians, whether they were Harranians or Sabians. From the writings of Abu Zanad, an Arabic writer from Iraq who lived around 747 we conclude that at least one Mandaean community located in northern Iraq observed Ramadan.
Ramadan was Originally an Annual Ritual Performed at the City of Harran. Similarities Between the Ramadan of Harran and the Islamic Ramadan.
Although the fasting of Ramadan was practiced in pre-Islamic times by the pagans of Jahiliyah, it was introduced to Arabia by the Harranians. Harran was a city on the border between Syria and Iraq, very close to Asia Minor which, today, is Turkey. Their main deity was the moon, and in the worship of the moon, they conducted a major fast which lasted thirty days. It began the eighth of March and usually finished the eighth of April. Arabic historians, such as Ibn Hazm, identify this fast with Ramadan.
Ibn al-Nadim wrote in his book, al-Fahrisit, about various religious sects in the Middle East. He says in the month in which the Harranians fasted for thirty days, they honored the god Sin, which is the moon. Al-Nadim described the feasts they celebrated and the sacrifices they presented to the moon. Another historian, Ibn Abi Zinad also speaks about the Harranians, saying that they fast for thirty days, they look toward Yemen when they fast, and they pray five times a day. We know that Muslims also pray five times a day. Harranian fasting is also similar to that of Ramadan in Islam in the fact that they fast from before the sun rises until the sunset, just as the Muslims do during the days of Ramadan.[vi][6] Still another historian, Ibn al-Juzi, described the Harranian fasting during this month. He said they concluded their fasting by sacrificing animals and presenting alms to the poor. We also find these things in Islamic fasting today.
Mythological roots concerning Harran’s celebration of the moon explained the disappearance of the moon after it joined with the star cluster, Pleiades, in the constellation of Taurus. It occurred during the third week of March. The people prayed to the moon, pleading for its return to the city of Harran, but the moon refused to return. This is thought to be the explanation for why they fasted during this month. The moon did not promise to return to Harran, but it did promise to return to Deyr Kadi, a sanctuary near one of the gates of Harran. So after this month, the worshippers of Sin, the moon, went to Deyr Kadi to celebrate and to welcome the return of the moon. According to Ibn al-Nadim, the historian mentioned earlier, the Harranians called the feast al-Feter عيد الفطر , the same name by which the feast of Ramadan is named.
In addition to the feast during Ramadan, the Harranians had five prayers which they repeated day and night. Each had to be preceded by ablutions, which were ceremonial washings. The same system of five prayers each day, preceded by ablutions, was embraced by Mohammed.
The fasting of Ramadan spread from Harran into Arabia. This may have occurred after the occupation of Nabonidus, the Babylonian king, to the north of Arabia, around the year 552 B.C., during his sojourn in the city of Teima. Nabonidus was from the city of Harran. He was a fanatic worshipper of the moon, Sin, and his mother was a priest of Sin. He disagreed with the priests of Babylonia who considered the god, Marduk, as the chief of the gods of Babylonia. Nabonidus was eager to spread the worship of Sin, the moon, as the main deity. So he left his son in charge of Babylonia and went to live in Teima in North Arabia.

Some Muslims stay up all night to eat and sleep during the day. That's why you can see an increase of obesity rate during Ramadan. Fasting should be done secretly, just you with God, just as Jesus said.
“When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."

That’s incorrect, we fasts for long periods of time especially in the summer months the day is really long for example we wake up at 2am in the morning for suhoor/breakfast and break our fast at around 9pm.
We don’t eat or DRINK water. instead we carry out our daily activities like work as we have financial responsibilities like everyone else rather than ‘sleep all day’. We also recite the holy book and do other spiritual activities during the day and night. Also we don’t ‘pig out’ at night as our stomach shrinks and we cannot eat too much food as we get full easily.

Also who said we are announcing our fasting for the rest of the world , we only announce to inform our fellow Muslims so that they’re aware and on google if u type ‘when’s Ramadan 2024’ it literally says the date - so that’s how almost the rest of the world find out
We don’t announce it like it’s Christmas and we don’t go around saying happy Ramadan to non Muslims
Instead look at the way Christians announce to people that it’s Christmas by having decorations etc and saying ‘happy Christmas’ even to those who don’t celebrate - this feels like more of an announcement -
Also we don’t make a ‘caricature of fasting’ …maybe u feel this way because lent isn’t publized as much because ive read that fasting is a traditional aspect of lent but not everyone does it. On the other hand fasting for Muslims is an obligation hence why there’s millions of people who practice it which led it to become more open and public rather than us making a ‘caricature out of fasting’
Just thought I’d kindly mention ❤✌️

I would just like to kindly clarify that when
Ur saying the ‘Muslim way of fasting is a joke’ but ur way of fasting is where u drink water during the day and your main goal is to lose weight as stated in ur comment.
However for Muslims, if we are skinny we still fasts WITHOUT drinking water and food so for us, fasting is not about trying to lose weight. Also we too eat 1 meal as some of us for breakfast/suhoor just have water and when we break our fast we eat a date with milk and a small meal, so we don’t really eat 2000kcal like you as our main focus is not on calories intake but to fast for the spiritual aspect etc.❤

Jesus is a Muslim, prayed to Allah as in Aramaic means God.
Fasting isn’t just about abstaining from the consumption of food / water, it’s also about seeking the pleasure of God through restraining for desires, establishing patience and worshipping the Creator, but whilst attempting to better ourselves and to become more grateful servants.
It is important to note that not everyone has it easy due to the geographical region of a particular individual as they can fast for longer periods than some other people (weather also makes it more difficult but God is merciful so the may get better rewards / blessings).
It is also important to mention that Muslims believe Jesus (pbuh) as a messenger of God and that many Muslims don’t just fast during Ramadan, but also can every week in certain days which is Sunah (not mandatory but practiced by Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him).
We are the people of the book (as described in the Holy Quran - so some things to Jews and Christian’s are similar)

Ramadan is not fasting. Most muslims actually gain weight during ramadan. Gorging yourself with a full feast meal TWICE a day, is the opposite of fasting. Many also stay up all night snacking, and sleep during the day. True fasting is between a person and God. Jesus tells us in matthew 6 what true fasting is.
    Matt. 6:16-18
16 “When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

    What is the
    GREATEST COMMANDMENT?Mark 12:29 - 30
    Jesus replied,
"This is the most important: 'Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One [1 - Ahud(Aramaic for One)].
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.'
And if we translate this prases said by Jesus in Aramaic (his official and used language during he was in this world) and NOTICED the word
GOD - GOD in Aramaic language is Allahå w/c so identical to Muslims name of God, ALLAH!
Allahå - Allah and 1 is Ahud and Ahud also in arabic, if we examine this Jesus peace be to him taught that ALLAH is one and only he we should worship with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

Jesus said "I an the way, the truth and the life. NO man comes to the Father but by me". He also said he and the Father were one. So if Jesus is a Muslim prophet and there is only Allah, what is Jesus referring to? Either he's God and part of the trinity, a doctrine clearly taught in the Bible, or He's a fraud. You can't say he's a great prophet of Islam that's compatible with the Koran, while ignoring what the Old Testament foretold about the Messiah and Jesus said about himself l in the New Testament.

Jesus himself worship God alone (mathew 4:10 and etc.) and he teach God is only one And ONLY him to be worship with all your hearth, mine and strength (mark 12:29) and many more how jesus demonstrated that only God ALONE to be worship.
how this twisted men on earth saying jesus himself is a God while even Jesus will deny this people ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ (mat. 7:22).
we see here; SAUL of tarsus (a.k.a. PAUL or PABLO, pablito) a self proclaimed companion of Jesus who never meet jesus in this world but only in his dream, ALTERED, RECONSTRUCT, CHANGED, and CONTRADICTED the teaching of JESUS peace be to him to agrees the teachings and laws of Romans and deviated his teaching from Jews in addition of rewriting and translated the works of Jesus's companion to romans, latin etc. from Aramaic (not hebrew) to suitable the Roman empire Laws.
And during Constantine empire they added PAGAN deities and festivals to make it as one religion, like Christmas (Saturn diety and Metras birtday a roman God), Valentines (celebrate porn) , easter (easter deity), Santa clause ( Red suited demon having sack bag on his back during winter) , New year (celebrate Janus a two faced roman deity hence January came from) Halloween (satanic festival) all are added to form religion called Christianity, infact even word Christian or word Jesus doesn't known to JESUS himself. Roman empire worship Zeus (sounds Jesus) and they call it father because they romans kings are son of Godess so they twisted, changed, reconstruct, altered, contradicts the original Gospil (Injil) brought by Jesus (Issa) and they creat all of this ti create new religion called Christian.
      Iesus (Romanized)

Imagine worshipping Jesus who never call him self God and worship him but himself teached to WORSHIP GOD ALONE!

      Semitic language:
      ELOAH/ELOAHIM (Hebrew)
ALLAHà (ARAMAIC language of JESUS PBH)
      ALLAH (ARABIC)..
while Islam all agrees the REAL teaching of Jesus peace be to him
Jesus (Issa) greet people Salamalaikum (Muslim do the same)
He doesn't eat pork (Muslim do the same)
      He doesn't have tatooes

His mother Mary (Marriam) has head scarf and modesty and modesty in action and talk
      (Muslim do the same)
      He worship GOD ALONE

Jesus (Issa) fasted 40 days as like previous Prophets sent by God (Jonas, Moses etc. fasted) -
(Muslims do the same during month of Ramadhan and special holy days)

I assume you just haven't been truly informed, but Jesus Alaihi Salam spoke Aramaic, and in Aramaic the God's name is Allaha! If the religion you claim to follow started in the country where the name of God is Allah, Allah, or Eloh... How can you say such a statement which places you in a situation where you disassociate yourself from your Lord, simply because of your disdain for a people who call you to worship one God alone, Allah? Not only that, Islam is the only religion in the world which declares that Jesus Alaihi Salam is the Messiah, which the Jews reject.... But yes we know he is not God, nor the literal son of God, because Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala doesn't have children, and if a God has a child, that would make him a God as well, and now you have 2 gods. There is no God except Allah, the only one worthy of worship, the only one hope should be placed with, admiration, and love should be for the sake of! I hope you change, because you are wronging only yourself, because Allah Azzawajal is the free of need, while it is you who are in need of him, and it is to him you shall return. Jesus Alaihi Salam called people to worship Allah alone, one God, and ordered those who believed he was the messenger of Allah, to keep the commandments in order to enter into eternal life. I invite you to Islam, and I invite those who believe there is one God, to the worship of the one true God. And the call of the prophet Muhammad Sallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam was to the worship of the one true God alone. And there is no God except Allah! So if you believe in the one true God, and you desire to worship him and him alone, then as a believer in the one true God, it's incumbent upon you to answer the call to the worship of the one true God, no matter where the call may come from. Because your allegiance is to the one true God, not to religions which received their names after the messengers departure. Islam isn't named after a race of people, nor after any individual, Islam by definition, is the submission to the one true God, Allah! And a Muslim means one who submits to the one true God.... No one can disagree that Abraham Alaihi Salam submitted his will to the one true God, Moses Alaihi Salam submitted to the one true God, Jesus Alaihi Salam submitted to the one true God, and Muhammad Sallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam submitted to the one true God. And since Muslim is one who submits to the one true God, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says every prophet and messenger he sent to mankind where Muslims, and the religion has always been one religion, from the one true God, and that religion has always been Islam! So sons and daughters of Adam Alaihi Salam, I invite you to come back to the straight path, which is Islam and be Muslims in submission to your Lord, and worship him alone, and he will forgive you your sins Insha'Allah. And as evidence for Allah being the God in which if western Christians knew, they may submit in Islam is the first page from the Coptic Christian Bible from the area in which Jesus alaihi Salam came. Genesis says In the beginning, Allah created the heavens and the earth.

Return to my Lord and your Lord, accept Islam, and if you reject the call to worship one God Allah alone, then bear witness that we are Muslims in submission to Allah, and we would never associate anything in the worship of our lord, and to Him we shall return! Alhamdulillah for Islam!

@@andrewbartosik John 8:58 in the Greek septuagint the word for "I am" is "ho on", which is not the same "I am" in which God told Musa Alaihi Salam which in greek is "ego eimi". This was deliberately done by the church to distort the truth...... I'm not here to debate or battle with you, only to reason! You have equated equals to Allah, and yet you look at Muslims as if we're astray, Subhana'Allah. Allah is one in every sense of the word, he is not 3 in 1, never has been and never will be. He shares not his legislation with no one, his is the creation and the command. Mankind was created for the sole purpose of worshipping Allah alone, so I agree you do not worship what I worship, nor do I worship what you worship. My Lord is Akbar, and he is the free of need, and we are in need of him, and it is we who must strive to earn his pleasure, although our deeds aren't a pass into Paradise, it's certainly his mercy which will make us Insha'Allah successful! But your belief has stagnated your attempts to please that which you worship other than Allāh, what you worship is in need of you to the point where he sent his innocent son to be murdered by the wicked to forgive the wicked for their transgressions against him. Every messenger of Allah Azzawajal came with one message, to worship one God, and there is no God except Allah, and to keep his covenant, commandments to enter eternal life. This was even the call of Isa Alaihi Salam...
“Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
      And he also said
Until the heavens and earth pass away Not one jot or one tittle shall pass from the Law until all is fulfilled.
Seeing that the heavens and the earth still stand, why have you abandoned the law?
      He also said...
Whoever abandons the law and teaches man to do so shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven and whoever obeys the law and teaches man to do so shall be called the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Paul taught you the law was nailed to the cross and you no longer must obey the law! But yet you see us as those astray.... Every messenger called to believe God is one and to obey his law. Christians call on the other hand is completely different, even from what Jesus Alaihi Salam said himself. You call to believe God is a triune God divided between 3 persons, and to the concept that it's futile for a person to attempt to strive to keep the commandments because it's impossible, so Jesus Alaihi Salam came as God in the flesh to die for the sins of mankind, so you may attain eternal life. Do you not see the error in your ways? Then Allah Jalla Jallalahu sends down the Quran to Muhammad Sallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam who calls to worship one God alone Allah and to keep his Shariah, and you pretend that this is unfamiliar to you, knowing it's the message of truth every messenger of Allah Azzawajal came with. You can continue to think the law was to difficult but Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala says its not, when he presented it to Musa Alaihi Salam
      Deuteronomy 30:11
Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, "Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?" So you may obey it!!!!! Turns out Jesus Alaihi Salam spoke the truth. I invite you to Islam to worship one God alone Allah, and to turn away from the error you have accepted as the straight path, because clearly the first commandment says Hear O Israel the lord thy God is one. If your belief was correct, it would say Hear O Israel the lord thy God is 3 in 1, or a triune God. But it strictly says one! Jesus Alaihi Salam said the father is greater than I, but you just claimed he is equal to Allah! Jesus Alaihi Salam said only those who submit to the will of Allah who is in heaven shall enter into eternal life. You say only those who believe Allah who was on earth came to die for your sins will enter eternal life... Do you not see the error in your ways? You as a believer in one God must follow the message of the one God no matter whom you find it with, and if you reject it, it would only be proof against you, that your loyalty wasn't to the one true God worthy of worship, but your loyalty was to yourself and what you desired over al Haqq.... But I inform you that if you continue on this path, and reject the prophet Muhammad Sallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, only repeating the mistake of the Jews who rejected Jesus Alaihi Salam because he came with what their souls did not desire, that nothing will avail you against Allah and it was never Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala who wronged you, but it was only you who wrong yourselves. May Allah guide you and us to the straight path! Ameen Ya Rabbil Alamin!

There is no such thing as Allah
    Muhammad made it up.
The Quran was plagiarized from the Torah and the gospels ( injiils)
Heck even the Quran itself tells you to uphold the Torah and the gospels
And I quote from the Quran :
    Surah 5:68
Say, “O people of the Book, you have nothing to stand on, unless you uphold the Torah and the Injīl and what has been sent down to you from your Lord.” What has been sent down to you from your Lord will certainly make many of them more persistent in rebellion and disbelief. So, do not grieve over the disbelieving people.
