It's all about how you can improve you're jumping and sprinting in this video. Recently returned from Portugal I use three of my jumpers - Leigh, Eric and Kuria to showcase how I tackle technical issues.
With Leigh it's about getting more take-off height in the long jump and improving take-off set-up.
I show you the drills and identify key areas that can benefit from specific conditioning.
Eric on the other hand is loosing vital distance through not moving his arms optimally when performing his hitch-kick. I talk through the fixes for this issue.
Finally Kuria needs to work on moving better through her triple jump phases and achieving more vertical velocity. This is not so much a technical fault but rather an area which requires specific conditioning.
It's important to realise that it can take time to remedy these (and other issues). And is equally important that athlete and coach really understands what the fault is and what the fixes are and how to implement them.
Hopefully you will be able to identify ways to sort similar technical issues you may have. You have to try to trace back to see what the causal factors are and then implement the remedying strategies.
If you have any specific questions then please let me know and thanks to Bob and Brad for sponsoring part of this video.
Their Q2 Mini massage gun which we put to the test in Portugal really did help Leigh. It's only small but it packs a big punch and it's ideal for travelling athletes.

Will take off board with a height of 30cm ,increase the distance of your jump. Because take off board are usually 10cm or less.

For long jump mat drills, how far would you place the 2 mats from each other if you have a male jumper with a height of 1.80m?

Spacing is more or less the same regardless of age and size (think that the mat is large enough to cover variation). First mat front edge at end of board. Second mat centred 4.50m back from the front edge of the board.
Note run-up needs to be 10 steps or so. If shorter you may need to pull the mats in a bit.

You need to be fully recovered between jumps. The length of run-up used will also determine how many jumps are completed as will whether it’s long or triple jump.
Generally speaking triple is more intense than long jump. However, if you are properly conditioned then both jumpers should be able to complete a Similar number of jumps.
We tend to 6-8 from 10-12/14 steps. Each jumper will have their preferred number.
Obviously there is no point jumping when fatigued.
      I hope this helps 👍🏽🙏🏽
