She’s such an intelligent informative human being. Lovely to watch these videos of her at this point because she’s reflective still ballsy but very reflective. It pained me to know her daughter would hurt her so much after this I hope she regrets the day she scorned her mother. But I have a feeling she is as bitter as the day she did it.
And is it JUST an irony that both Crawford and Hyman's ONLY claim to fame were the trash books about their mothers? As much as they try to hide behind "ulterior" motives (Crawford to "help others" and Hyman her warped Evangelical Xianity and how she "loves mother") it became obvious that the only reason they even got the sales they did on their trash was the celebrity/legacy of their mothers. Hell, Crawford has been on a 50-year "Greatest Hits" tour (PUN intended); with a new edition every 10 years with freshly regurgitated or defecated material for the public trough. None of them have even a drop of talent their subject mothers had and yet they have made millions off slagging their mothers.
by the way......RED is STILL the woman!!! Miss Bette Davis EYES!!!!!! just look at her...even beautiful still as an elderly woman....she STILL had it!!!
Years before the song came out Bette Davis was(Is) my favorite actress and I always loved the feature that stood out on her those eyes, I have a old family friend who has those Bette Davis eyes.
The camera lens loved Bette Davies her looks were never “cover girl” but the lens captivated her inner features and transformed her into a beautiful creature. ❤
Love Bette Davis. She was the cream of the crop. In this interview, she seems quite herself -- not camping it, just being reflective and candid. I read she was quite fond of David Hartman and it shows in this interview.
I thought it was ironic that she said she doesn't have ego or a "big head" and then goes on about her pride about her Yankee New England background and being the paragon of the Protestant work ethic. Also, she makes it sound like her relationship with her mother was great, but it wasn't so in real life.. it was VERY contentious. And that's the amazing part of Bette Davis-- she tells HER story the way SHE wants it.. And it's engaging and interesting. That's why she was/is an icon.
Definitely from a different era. There was a theatric presence even in interviews. And her ethics explain why she was successful while too many people living today aren't.
All interviewers after Dick Cavett/Mike Douglas talk more than they listen. They have all tried to be edgy blatant provocative without success. I love everything Bette Davis but wish this was an another DC sit down chat.
#35th LOVE (not like)..BUT LOVE...I love Bette Davis so much....gosh!!! guys come add me....& please check out my Bette Davis tribute I have up for her.... and LOL that she loved replacing Claudette Colbert.....how hilarious...I love her too..but BETTE is my CHIC!!!!! for life!!
She always refers to major other female stars by their last name only.. not wanting to credit anyone any more than she has to...I saw her credit Shirley Booth for a role that she regretted to have turned down, now... saying, "Booth did a great job"
And just who is the witch, little miss push2thenoclass Blanca? Miss Davis hs more class in her cigarette smoke than you. Do you kill black cats on Halloween too?
She always had a dark aura to her. like why is she wearing a funeral outfit? Her daughter B.D Hyman talked about how heavily she was involved in witchcraft and the occult that’s why she’s talking so much about luck. Sad. so many in hellyweird were/are ungodly.
There was a hell of a lot more to Betty Davis than that. I know of her daughter. Her daughter's a good Woman, a SAVED Woman. But realize, that AS her daughter she's always subjective.. never objective
Bette Davis is the GREATEST actress who has ever lived. No one else like her.
Probably one of the best interviews with Bette Davis at a relatively peaceful time in her life.
The one, and only, Bette Davis.
One of the best woman ever, no actress can touch her... what a body of work.
She’s such an intelligent informative human being. Lovely to watch these videos of her at this point because she’s reflective still ballsy but very reflective.

i realize I'm kinda randomly asking but do anybody know of a good site to watch new tv shows online ?
@Bruno Louis i would suggest Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)

Marvellous, mesmerising actor, she radiates strength and determination no matter what she's doing or playing.
Bette Davis, my all time favourite Actress.
Bette is forever the greatest ! She has true grit and credits herself only to being a hard worker.
by the way......RED is STILL the woman!!! Miss Bette Davis EYES!!!!!!

Years before the song came out Bette Davis was(Is) my favorite actress and I always loved the feature that stood out on her those eyes, I have a old family friend who has those Bette Davis eyes.
Greatest American Actress that ever lived.
The camera lens loved Bette Davies her looks were never “cover girl” but the lens captivated her inner features and transformed her into a beautiful creature. ❤
One of a kind “she did it the hard way”… her way and there will be no one like her ever …
Love Bette Davis. She was the cream of the crop. In this interview, she seems quite herself -- not camping it, just being reflective and candid. I read she was quite fond of David Hartman and it shows in this interview.
lovely woman
Mercy sakes!! A smart one..i love her n her conversations are GREAT.
A giiant great little woman. She made life on the screen more real than real life.
The Amazing Brilliant Bette
She was the greatest actress no one will ever touch her because they don't make people like her anymore.
Good wise advice.

love the veil, and eyes that could kill.......r.i.p honey.
Thank God we got Bette over Claudette in that role. Wow. Totally different movie and probably would not have had the cultural impact
LOL I never heard if your initials spell something it is good luck. Mine spelled HAG and I never found that to be good. lol
A TRUE STAR⭐️
RIP BETTE DAVIS
YOU, GO. MS. R.E.D.
A VERY SMART WOMAN. NO 1. ACTRESS.
She's Great..( to say the least )
The only time i find myself desiring her silence is when she goes on, and on, AND ON ABOUT NEW ENGLAND...🤷🏻♂️
Otherwise, love her confidence.
The one, and only, Bette Davis.
does she make any reference to the song in this interview? what minute?

Did Bette Davis loved or HATED Bette Davis Eyes song?? Just wondering??
She loved it. She sent flowers to Carnes after she won her Grammy.
Damn the cancer that won over her. Bette Davis will always be missed
Translate in Italian please!!!!
She has those eyes, I think she's a spy !
I think she gave BD (or someone) the finger at 4:24! hahah
She always refers to major other female stars by their last name only.. not wanting to credit anyone any more than she has to...I saw her credit Shirley Booth for a role that she regretted to have turned down, now... saying, "Booth did a great job"
Good observation
I think both she and Hepburn were quite similar. Both Yankees as well. Others may use another word.
NOBODY LIKE HER. NOBODY!
She is dressed like she is going to a funeral! Why the hell would she wear that for a morning show interview. Bad wardrobe choice!
Blanca W because she’s a witch.
Black is elegant and so is she. Shut it, Bianca. Whoever gave you an Oscar?
And just who is the witch, little miss push2thenoclass Blanca? Miss Davis hs more class in her cigarette smoke than you. Do you kill black cats on Halloween too?
That was her image
@@MiamiPush2theLimit nasty comment from a nobody, I nearly reported you
She always had a dark aura to her.
like why is she wearing a funeral outfit?
Her daughter B.D Hyman talked about how heavily she was involved in witchcraft and the occult
that’s why she’s talking so much about luck.
Sad.
so many in hellyweird were/are ungodly.
