I love how the band looks. In my opinion they sort of represent different levels of joy: The bassist doesn't really care that much, the singer is charming the crowd, the DJ is happy, the saxophonist is delighted and the piano player is absolutely delighted.
i compared them side by side, the text on the screen is different on the theater screen (where it says swinging man) and that's where it it speeds up / slows down.

ok when doing animation thats supposed to look 20's/30's style 1) DONT DO CGI. THEY WERE NOT DIGITAL. 2) they had very little understanding of movement back then 3) the pacing in this looks slow 4) in genuine older cartoons, if youll notice. no one ever stops moving. theyre always bopping or jittering in some way, even the background characters in most cases. 5) to fill in gaps, there was a looping of mindless things, such as in Red Hot Mama (betty boop), to fill in the gaps they made looping animations of devils putting on their costumes and being put into school or something 6) there also was a lot of personification of objects suddenly growing arms and stuff that would help a lot in this video. there also needs to be more expression and more frames in certain places. i think the only positive thing i have to say about this video is the colours are good and the models are spot on, but the animation in general is terrible, not to mention the outlines disappearing in spots sometimes and limbs clipping into eachother

It's actually not slower, but pitched down. Makes an illusion that it's slowed down. But still makes it strange to listen to :s

1. I think that it is really good as a non-professional animation.
