  • The completed build of my 40+ year old vintage 1983 Return of the Jedi MPC ( Later AMT ) Star Wars Shuttle Tydirum in about 1:89 scale as seen in Return Of The Jedi. All done with a custom 3D printed base and lit up in all it's weathered glory. May the 4th be with you!

    Ian you have done a phenomenal job on this kit, from building, to lighting, to painting and weathering. Not only did you create a fantastic model, you also took us along for the journey from start to finish. Thanks for the journey it was entertaining as always.

      Thanks Ken, it was certainly a journey, sci-fi modelling is still a steep learning curve for me after doing so many tanks.

    Nice work! Glad she's finally crossed the finish line. My Shuttles were all stolen, so all I have now is the Micro Galaxy Squadron version.

    Looks amazing Ian, I think adding a AT-ST with Chewie would be epic. Now if they only made a Death Star trash compactor model to add into the Chewie collection

      Thanks! and I am going to start looking for an AT-ST model, maybe someone will design a 3-D trash compactor I can 3-D print one of these days...LOL
