This band deserves to be credited for influencing half of the stuff that came out in the early/mid 2000's. Especially when it comes to emo and post-hardcore. This band not being considered legendary is beyond me.
So I just listened to the Change in the house of pods podcast, where Jonah was interviewed and this video came like a full circle, since he was talking about thistime period. And it’s awesome to see that Far was already an incredible band back then. It just makes me wonder if they could’ve reached higher places if things went differently. This upload is just beyond awesome, greetings from Chile.
Coming out of Lollapalooza 1997 after seeing Tool, etc., some chick handed me a sampler CD with “Bury White” and some other stuff, including a track off Incubus “S.C.I.E.N.C.E.” I bought that and “Water and Solutions” immediately. Both albums are extremely underrated.
Ahh the good ol days right there. Far has been a favorite for years and I haven't heard science in ages. New shade of green haha I still remember some shit. Thanks for the video man.
Thank you so much for posting this! LOVED these guys back in Tin Can and Water and Solutions. Great recording! Does anyone know what snare he's using here? I believe it's the same on the record, just detuned a little bit from Tin cans...

One of the most underrated 90s bands IMO. The audio quality on this is incredible.
I couldn't agree more!!!
Vocals are so good live, can't believe how good this recording sounds for 1998.
One of the moat underrated bands of my generation. Hard to believe this is almost 23 yrs ago. Still jam to this today
Jeeeezus Christ this sound so fucking good.
The audio is clean
The band is so tight
His vocals are as close to album as Ive ever heard
The influence this band had is insane. Jonah was such an underrated artist.
Is, not was. He’s still around doing stuff. Look up Onelinedrawing on you music apps.

Cool and tight drummer! Lefty playing on a right handed kit 😎
My band has played bury white as a warm up song for almost ten years.
Deftones , Will Haven and Far. The Holy Trinity.
the metro always know how to film a good show, And that was a really cool complement that Jonah gave out to incubus.
Because of them I kinda accepted when EMO started to go mainstream in the early mid 2000.
I credit this band for singlehandedly creating melodic hardcore and straightedge and I will die on this hill lol
Dag Nasty?
Melodic hardcore has existed since the 80s. I love Far but they did not create it. You dumb.
Straightedge was born in the 80s
Holy fuck I feel like I'm 17 again and chasing Far/Will Haven/Deftones shows in my homies beat up Daihatsu
