THIS. THIS. TAKES THE WORD “UNDERRATED” TO A WHOLE OTHER LEVEL!!!!!!!
27:15 like c’mon. He’s fucking sickkk
Man, Volz is screaming and singing his nuts off! And the rest of you guys tore it up! Definitely the best lineup y'all had. I miss all of this shit from back in the day
Inner strength goes hard!!!!
NU METAL 4 LIFE BABY
I hear that it needs to make a comeback too
@@vickiesperko8964 it is but not hitting big like back then. But eventually it will again
@@awebuelo it's hitting big in Houston. I am taking my homeboys Saturday. Back the 2000s tour. Union Underground. FLAW. Ra. Soil.
POST-GRUNGE for life. NU-METAL for life
Still listening to FLAW everyday. 🤘
That last record was fucking shit! Bunch of shitty covers, even the the ones before that were ehhh. Those first 2 though I still blast those to this day
Dope, Lifer and Flaw all on the same bill? That’s absolutely badass 👍🔥🔥
staticx cold mushroomhead there was a underage girl who went to far and broke everything up

😂
Lifer 😂😂😂😂 that band was fucking dog shit.
Man if only universal pushed them even a little bit. The tool vibes and amazing first album through the eyes should have made them lifelong, headliners.
Still love them but it’s not the same without everyone
Howdy I was their Tour manager and FOH during this time...universal put a bunch of money and push behind these guys...they rented us a theatre in KY where we did several weeks of pre production, including putting three of the members on in ear monitors which was still pretty rare for then...we did one run in a cruse America rv after that straight to a tour buss.....but they got caught in the party, and as the year went on it got bad...so bad I flew home in the middle of a run in dec of that year, after finding myself a replacement....loved the band that album and the guys but they just couldn't see the gift that had been given them.....and trust me except for The used whom I did the same thing for when they were starting ...97% of the young bands who get that big of a push so early on can't get past the party....till one day the label drops you the tour support is gone and by then it's too late...
@@richardbelisle7626 (Friend of the band here).. although I agree there's truth to what you say and the internal strife within the band would have likely still been there, I think it's important to understand that Universal/Republic was indeed part of the problem.
Republic had signed Godsmack just a couple years before and threw a god awful amount of money promoting them and it worked.. and they sold millions of albums.
They signed Flaw hoping they would be their next Godsmack. But the problem is that between the time of Godsmack and Flaw was the dawn of the digital era; Napster had given birth to the P2P file sharing era and the major labels had no idea how to handle it. They had no idea how to handle monetizing bands. They measured success almost entirely on CD sales while millions of people had begun pirating instead of buying.
Much of the fighting within the band was due to disagreements with how Universal was pushing them. The band was seeing their songs being downloaded like crazy and Universal was pumping hundreds of thousands of dollars in to making music videos and promoting albums that were being downloaded for free.
The band wanted to focus on making their money from live shows. They needed more money put in to making their live shows better and getting on to better tours and less money spent on music videos.
Who knows if the band would have survived the internal problems either way, but had they been signed 2 years earlier or if the record labels had the foresight to embrace the digital era earlier, it likely would have made a world of difference.
I used to love this band. I read their wiki. It seems like a mix of bad management and personalities. For real though, the lead singer has one of the best voices in the history of metal.
Endangered species is a great album! It was certainly a bit softer & a little less technical, plus line-up changes, alas it's still brilliant - I wanted a 3rd album....got 5 bolt main later
@@tomdrum1394 Yeah, we’re gonna have to agree to disagree.
That record is a fucking disgusting disappointment, especially, when you know the context that they were actually supposed to make a heavier record than their last record, but universal tried to con them into selling out, just to dump them when it justifiably backfired…
Thank you so much for uploading all these shows! I'm hoping to see some apartment 26 someday, man I wish I could go back in time lol
SAW APARTMENT 26 with drain sth, dope and godsmack in birmingham,al 1999.Killer show /m\
Saw them @ Locobazooka in Worcester 2000 or 2001
@@liberatedtapearchive3984 hey man, do you have anything on some early smile empty soul or this band from houston called LOWER? There are some live videos from them but really few
great set and audio
These dudes should of been huge they should still be touring heavily i think their label did a shitty job promoting them and giving them a big push
Saw this tour 3 days later in Buffalo... This brings back memories!
What stands out about this performance is Jason Daunts Wes Borland impersonating. Greatest album too
Nope, this is a textbook Nu Metal guitarist stance and movement. Even Mike Mushok did something like this at one point.
Such a underrated band, Flaw is so badass and amazing!!!!
"GET UP AGAIN" & "MY LETTER"
They had endless potential man. Love those 1st 2 albums
Awesome!!
Dope!
Limp bizkit pollution on guitar in the soundcheck
I love the jnco t Chris v
The most 90s 00s thing ever
Flaw was such a different band...
So glad I saw this tour and when this band was Flawless... Wish I could say the same for today's "Chris Volz from Flaw and guests."
What the F***!! This is exceptional music....why in the world did two members leave, or fired? Also, they never got as big as they truly deserved!
Too many factors, internal conflicts and choices in careers ..
Holy FUCK
Do you have the Dope and Lifer set? Lifer is rare stuff...
Lifer is actually skill together, and surprisingly the lead singer Nick Coyle is the current rhythm guitar player for Cold!
Lifer is my hometown band. I was at almost every local concert when they blew up. Then the band mates left to form breaking Benjamin’s
@@LWalsh0are you from Pennsylvania, don't you?
The drummer looks like Lars Ulrich
Chris solo.stuff and other band 20 volt main were all pretty solid , but nearly as good as the 1st 2 flaw records
chris volz super kid
Got any Flaw concerts from 2003?
Woa wait a second can we get that Cold set too?
If you want to check out the Cold video, look up Felipes Vault. You’ll find it in his video lineup. He probably might send it over to this channel sooner or later.
@@quentinbringthenumetalchil5125 Cold only let me film 3 songs then at that particular show. Ah well, better than none.
Felipe actually stole all the footage he has on his channel from us. Just a little FYI =)
@@liberatedtapearchive3984damn, did not know that
