    Thanks for this, I've been holding off on replotting because I know my SSD's don't have enough writes left to replot everything but I think with this I can probably get it done.

    Can you please how did you got data for the comparison graph 3:38? I am trying to estimate my gain as well if it is indeed worth it...

    Thank you very much for the great tutorial. I‘ll try this out immediately because I‘m replotting all my plots atm.

    I have only 1nvme 1tb 970 evo plus and 32gb this and calculate writes with harddisk sentinel it's not saving writes for me is there any other setting to save writes for me ?

      @Nour sorry to hear that it doe not work for you.
      Can you give us a picture with you PrimoCache setting?

    Tks for your video. I have 128gb and use it as ramdisk so I only use 25% on my ssd nvme (temp disk 2 is the ramdisk). Is there a way to optimise more the process, and reduce more the writing on the ssd? Tks

    • @AndriiTalksTech
      @AndriiTalksTech  3 года назад +1

      @zahir OH thanks for you comment!
      You can use remaining ram that you have to cover writes of your second ssd and 25%

    • @zahir3d
      @zahir3d 3 года назад

      @@AndriiTalksTech so ramdisk (110) + primocache (2g or 3g) + 5g (for Windows)? Tks.

    • @AndriiTalksTech
      @AndriiTalksTech  3 года назад +1

      Or if you have another pc in the network with plenty of RAM - you can create a ramdisk there, share is over the network and use it as a L2 cache for you second SSD.
      Although you would need a 10 GBi local network to get full benefit of the process ;)

    • @AndriiTalksTech
      @AndriiTalksTech  3 года назад +1

      @Zahir OH yea, something like this, 110 + 5 and everything else to PrimoCache

    • @zahir3d
      @zahir3d 3 года назад

      @@AndriiTalksTech Yes I also have another PC on the same network with 128gb. But I thought the network speed would slow the process down, so I didn't try it.

    i saw on your config so we need to use 2 ssd? can i use my same plotting ssd with primo cache? thanks man
    i only have 1 ssd atm, but my ram is also limited to 32gb is that still possible?

    • @JakubVacek42
      @JakubVacek42 3 года назад +1

      Not necesery, but I get the significant savings on writes as in this video only if I use two SSDs. Also the speed is a bit better.

    • @AndriiTalksTech
      @AndriiTalksTech  3 года назад

      @aditya Rendra 2 ssd is not a must but very recommended.
      It would still work perfectly but you numbers in PrimoCache app will show different numbers.

    • @AndriiTalksTech
      @AndriiTalksTech  3 года назад

      Indeed, using your RAM will increase your writes/reads speed as well :)

    How long 1 plot you make ?

    • @AndriiTalksTech
      @AndriiTalksTech  3 года назад

      @SYDNEY LOVE DRAW for me it's long long 86minute, because I reduce CPU usage to be able to work in a background

  • @OO-gc5sz
    @OO-gc5sz 3 года назад

    why didn't you show how long it takes to create a single plot?

    • @AndriiTalksTech
      @AndriiTalksTech  3 года назад +1

      Honestly forgot about it.
      It takes ~70min per plot for me just because of my second drive bottle-neck of 500mb/sec
