OMFG dude, your tools are just gold for every Chia Farmer since the beginning. We can't thank you enough for everything you did to make our lives easier. You're AWESOME!
Chia network better pay all the plot manager developers, you guys are literally doing their work. And that shouldn't be a problem considering that they have millions of pre-farmed XCH.
You're so awesome dude. I love the GUI you made. It's relatively easy to use and it also has many good features. For example I didn't even know you could limit phase 1 plots... but it's something really useful.
I realize it's easier to set the destination in the plotter because that's how the plotters were made, but having the plotter wait to copy to the final destination is a HUGE waste of time. Would you consider doing the plot destination sorting after the plotting is done? Simply plot to the temp drive for staging that way the copy phase for the plotter is basically nonexistent. Then it doesn't matter how long it takes to move the plot to slow HDD storage. This keeps the plotter plotting, not idle waiting on copy time. A checkbox for "stage to temp drive" before moving to the final destination would be a noticeable increase to plots/day. Copy time is definitely a significant amount of time that adds up to less actual plotting.
You rock! I'm a little late to this, but I'm thankful I found this. Sub for life. I was dreading replotting my 1200 plots, but now I don't. Thanks again.👍
Fantastic work. Really nice to see network drives working as well, I'm now using this and it's working excellently. At around 10:45 you mention needing the contract address in order to plot for pools, I didn't quite understand this. Does this mean if we replot, then the plots we get out cannot be used for pools when the official pooling function arrives, unless we specify a 'contract address'? If so, what do I need to fill in here to have my plots ready for when official pools arrive? Thanks again, this tool is amazing!
You are a genius, and believe me I don't say that often. I will recommend recommend video showing step by step the actual process to install run and update you power shell software without tge reason for each step. It would be a " for dummies" version. Thank.you.
I referred a few of my viewers to you via my channel. I appreciate your contributions and know this is only a side project for you when you have free time. Take care
You did an excellent and amazing job. Really what I needed, with an excellent ergonomy! Only trouble : my "Software RAID" doesn't seem recognized, I had to un-RAID my SSDs for your solution to work. Anyway I'm not in a hurry like when disks were empty, so it's OK. Again many thanks for this great job.
This is almost the 5th plot manager I've tried and I think this is the one! None of the others worked right. Please start a Discord Channel so us users can talk to each other and you!
Great job things have been working great! Just one quality of life idea is to be able to delete jobs under saved jobs idk if there is a way to but it would be nice if it was possible
Amazing work! Will we need to have two temp drives configured for madmax to work or can we just use one. Also just an idea, but what if there was a way to plot as normal but put the final plot to a temp ssd, check the plots with your check tool then if it all checks out dump it to the final plot directory. The reason I am thinking of this is so it speeds up the transfer time to hdd when done. I am not sure how the coding will work when trying to to a replot, the way I can think of it working is it won’t delete an old plot until it checks out from plot check on the temp ssd but then that adds a lot of complexity’s.
Yeah I think I will keep the replot feature pretty basic since it seems like a feature that will become obsolete once the OG plots have been replotted with portable ones. I do like your idea though!

As other posters mentioned the write time to final drive could have significant improvement to overall times if this was staged better. Thanks heaps for the work done. The plot manager just spawns the MM plotting process so it should effectively be the same. I did have to add the plot while copying feature separately but it is now available for use in version 1.0.53+
Thank you for the GREAT EFFORT on this! Just had couple of questions. What should be the usual "replotting" time using 2 threads? If to increase thread count and RAM size, could it be faster? Also I assigned my own (Self Pooling) "Pool Contract Address" does it still make my plots portable (so I can join actual pools later on)? Thank you so much, I appreciate your time!
Really nice work, excited to be able to use this again with the addition of Mad Max. Is there any way to make it plot in perpetuity? (like -1 for the plot count?)
Really great work. Thank you very much. The new features are amazing I tried to make new pool plots but unfortunately the plot is canceled with the code -1 and nothing in the log file. Any suggestions?
thanks for this software and your valuable time. Could you please also explain in future vdos how the pooling really work. lets say you have same seeds and farm on several computers, in the end how do you combined(move) all poolable plots to one computer for farming. can more than farmer have same contract address?
This is awesome. Thank you! Do you happen to know if your plot manager waits until a Mad Max plot is copied to final destination before it starts another one? Mad Max plotting takes longer for me with your manager by about as much time as it usually takes to copy the final plot file. A Mad Max queue run with MM command line will start the next plot while final file copy is happening, but maybe your manager does single Mad Max plots on its own schedule?
I do want to make a video on this ASAP, but I do imagine there will be plenty of chia RUclipsrs that will provide a guide in case my video on it is a bit behind.
Can the amazing Plot Manager be developed for Linux as well? I know you are not a programmer but your Plot Manager is great. Someone could please help you see if its possible to create the same Plot Manager for Linux. It would be excellent.
I Love this! I have a windows machine and an Ubuntu machine, are you planning on getting this working on Powershell core for Ubuntu? I tried it and it didn't seem to work. Thank you so much!
First, I really love the look of this program - great job! Unfortunately, I can't use it YET, because my final drives are out on a NAS, which are mapped on my main node, where the plotting happens. As you noted, these types of drives may not show up on your "Advanced" drive selector, but when I try to use the "Switch to Basic" option, I get an error when I Start Job, that says the Final Directory Does Not Exist. I did verify that the final directory I entered in the "basic' setting DOES exist. I assume this is just a small programming issue, because you can't detect this drive/path in the "advanced" option. Is there any workaround I can do to get past this? I realize you might have a lot of time to dedicated to something like this, but I'm hoping you might have a quick-fix. Thank you very much - in advance!
Awesome work man. This is fantastic. I am replotting to a pool and want to use madmax too but I keep getting an error. Madmax requires your pool public key but I also need my pool contract key but the app wont let me enter both. What do I need to do?
Great work, thank you very much! Can you please help me out? My chia gui just stopped "seeing" my plots. I had about 180. The 1.1.7 version did that, nothing changed with the new one. I did everything I could think of, deleted registry entries, reinstalled chia, deleted db folder, resynced, did not work. It doesn't register even the new pool plots that I have made. P.S. Just to mention, it happened about the same time I have tried core pool farming, which worked for about a week. I would much appreciate some advice.
Can't see my dynamic disks.. I got 2 ssd (450gb and 930gb) set them as dynamic disks. At first one I got my system (c:\ {160gb}). Rest of value add to second disk (o:\ {1220gb}) and using this as temp location for ploting, but I can't see those disks at PSChiaPlotter
Regarding the "Stats" page, there doesn't seem to be a way to refresh the contents without removing and re-adding the logging directory. Is it possible to add a refresh button?
Thank you so much for your efforts and sharing this valuable app. I have a question. Is it okay if I don’t specify that this plotting is for pools (NFT plots)? Looks like every plotting with Chia app version 1.2+ will be NFT plots automatically, so I can use it for pooling even I didn’t choose any pooling information when I’m plotting?
Finally figured out Mad Max. Previous best time plotting was 5 hours 37 minutes. Just plotted a single plot at 1 hour 51 minutes not counting transfer time!
Hey, my antivirus (Bitdefender) got a false positive on PSChiaPlotter, and fucked up the whole program, I tried to uninstall the module and reinstall it, but it won't install. Can you help?
You should be able to, make sure that you powershell window is not an admin window. Can always use basic plotting if you don't see them in the drop down.
Hi there I just installed your PSChiaPlotter everything went through just fine but when I do the Show-PSChiaPlotter the powershell window is just all white and it say PSChiaPlotter at the top I can't see anything else...I got it working on another machine but it doesn't seem to see mapped drives?
Thanks for the update. A stupid question but I didn't get the purpose of the re-plotting feature. I understand that if you want to join a pool you will have to re-plot but what if the difference of deletting all your previous plots and start you plot again with the new pool address and using your re-plot function? Is it only to keep the previous plots until it get replace by the new plot like this you still have a chance to win a chia with your old plot? Sorry not very clear to me. Thanks.
What you described is the purpose of the re-plot feature. It is just to squeeze as much as you can out of the old plots before you delete them. Not really needed, but I figure it would ease the pain of having to delete all your old plots.
I need to change the path of the chiia folder for pschia plotter because my chia root directory is located elsewhere on c drive. It is currently looking in: appdata/local/programs/chia. How would ai do this?
Hi, I love the tool but have some problem not related to it, I am connecting remotely to my plotter PC's, and after starting plotter I only got white screen on powershell, probably it is working correctly on pc's but cannot show remotely, I would love to find solution and use it because it's great.
You might have to use the Basic plotting feature for Ram disk. I don't have a Ram disk to test things out on so not sure if it shows up in the drop-down.
Really nice tool, good job! However, when using madmax v0.1.1, the next plot doesn't start while the first one is copying to the final destination. This is a deal breaker since normally running madmax, creating a plot takes 30 min for me, but when I need to wait for copy, it takes 40 min with the plot manager. Other than this major issue, the program is totally perfect to facility hassle free replotting!
A few hours ago a new version of the MadMax plotter for Windows was released, v0.1.1 - with NFT plot support. Do the NFT plots work with your current version + MM v0.1.1 ? I ask only because in the video you use the MM v.0.0.5 and there was no parameter for NFT included.
So the "pool contract address" field should be what is used when creating portable plots which can be used with MadMax if you have the newest version. Let me know if this works for you.
Hi bro, great video!! like and subscribe! I'm a little confuse, im starting mining, i have the rig but don't know where to start, i install ubuntu, do i need to start installing this pschiaplotter, then use the madmax? can i use my plotting machine to harvest? do you have a guide or video on how to start?
Amazing software mate - Thank you. How do I get the software to use my slower drive for phase 1 in MadMax and my faster drive for phase 2 and above? I put this in to the temp drive setting, but it uses the same drive for all Phases
I've got this error message after update to version 1.0.5.5 and update chia to version 1.2.2 looks like check plot function that error because error will show after 1 plot finished can you help how to troubleshoot this? Thanks for the tool Man. Appreciate your efforts. QQ - For some reason madmax plotter taking more than 2 hours for each plot. Any idea why it isn't finishing within 1 hour as others claim?
I've noticed this too. What's the memory and thread configuration to optimise Madmax plotting? THe quickest I managed with madmax was around 43minutes using just 12 threads. Great tool and video MrPig!!! Amazing work!!!
I've managed plots ranging from 53 to 57 minutes which is amazing considering the automation! Need to play around with threads and ram allocation to see if can squeeze out any more performance. Amazing tool!!! Look forward to more updates and added features!!
@@Alpha_0748 I tried both 12 and 16 threads on a Ryzen 5 5600X. Didn't make much difference so I kept it at 12. I allocated 30gb RAM. Fastest has been 47minutes. Average around 54 minutes.
Hi, by chance, possible for you to make a video on how to implement a script for windows that auto deletes an old "OG" plot, once a new Pool plot is created? Hopefully in powershell?
@@SysDeskDev hehe i seen those.. oddly im one of those people that need to watch a video, to figure that out.. hehe.. all 100tb close to replotted with good ol fashion way of deleting 90 plots manually daily and replot.. then repeat

Yup it works under basic just fine. IMDisc is a freeware ram drive. Those advanced features are going to be even more amazing.
I have a qs. Does this MadMax Plots by default? How can I set up that?
Edit: Instructions for MadMax Plotting at 10:10
Thnx!! Very pro!
GJ mann!!!
how to increase the phase 1 bucket size when using madmax?
What the F***! do you know what have you created? THANKS man!
It is now fixed in v1.0.53 PSChiaPlotter 2021-07-15 - great job MrPig91!
hi, can u make a turorial with github in powershell. How to install? Thanks
There is a 2nd temp drive combo box that you will need to use under the first temp drive box.
Is there a way to increase the N number for plot check that happens at the end of plot creation?
I just got a new HDD and tried to get the PSChiaPlotter going again but failed. Are you still monitoring this channel?
hi I can not add a nerwork mapped drive. tested also to add it manual mode. any suggestions__
I've got this error message after update to version 1.0.5.5 and update chia to version 1.2.2
looks like check plot function that error because error will show after 1 plot finished
can you help how to troubleshoot this?
"The term 'chia.exe' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check
the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again
@@JOEJOETHEJOEY HOw many threads and RAM did you allocate for each plot with this tool to see finishing within 1 hour?
@@Alpha_0748 I tried both 12 and 16 threads on a Ryzen 5 5600X. Didn't make much difference so I kept it at 12. I allocated 30gb RAM. Fastest has been 47minutes. Average around 54 minutes.
@@JOEJOETHEJOEY So, are you plotting one at a time? but not parallel? unless you have more cores and 100x RAM haha...
Hi, by chance, possible for you to make a video on how to implement a script for windows that auto deletes an old "OG" plot, once a new Pool plot is created? Hopefully in powershell?
Since I implemented in this GUI I do not plan to make a stand alone script. I have seen many on reddit be posted though.
@@SysDeskDev hehe i seen those.. oddly im one of those people that need to watch a video, to figure that out.. hehe.. all 100tb close to replotted with good ol fashion way of deleting 90 plots manually daily and replot.. then repeat
Will it be available for Linux user in the future?
Could you add a trim command, on the temp drive, after the file copy?
Optimize-Volume -DriveLetter "$TempDrive" -ReTrim
I will look into this, thank you!
What is the maximum amount of ram and threads that can be assigned to each plot before it becomes overkill? I have a 128 thread threadripper; can I assign 110 threads to one plot for max creation time?
I can not start-writes-FAILED-why?
