Honeywell PTM7950 SP Super Highly Thermally Conductive PCM PadS works better than all paste and you don't have to worry about changing paste ever again.In test it only showed 1c less than liquid metal.Also this works by disabling turbo but I suggest using throttle stop to disable turbo also you just click it down some without disabling all turbo so mine is a 2.6 ghz Intel with a boost to 4.5 so I just lower mine to 34(3.4) and it helps still get a little more perfortfor games,you can also lower or raise power limits to a degree unless locked by bios of course and undervolt with a built in tester to see if your undervolt is stable

I know this video was there 2 years ago, but you helped me a lot. I had trouble with the i7 10750H overheating and I always though that it was the RTX2080. The CPU used to reach 90-96° at 4.4 Clock Speed, with that I limited to 2.6 Clock Speed and maximum I get 75°, what an improvement!!!

My CPU wouldn't use more than 79% utilization and go past 60c. After disabling turbo boost, my PC still won't go beyond 79% and 60c. I upgraded my CPU...do you think the socket is limited on how much power it can supply?

my hp victus cpu suddenly fluctuates from 60 to 90 even idle but after doing this the cpu temp is stable around 60-70 when idle thanks so much!

Works too good! Went from hitting 92'c + in a second after running MSI Kombuster and 150% fan curve to 54'c and 45% Fan curve after a full minute of Kombuster.. Hoping for a middle ground, but still you're a life saver! Felt like it was really bad for my CPU to be forcing constant Turbo Boost during a 6 to 8 hour mmo grind session! and MSI's Cooler Boost forcing fans to 150% the whole time! I could feel lifespan of my laptop bleeding out by the minute!

Video starts at 2:54 / 4:44. For me, it showed: Processor performance boost mode - On battery / Plugged in: both Aggressive. Disabled both. I also changed something in processor power management. I set maximum processor state to 90% (Both On battery and Plugged in). By default for my laptop, my minimum processor state is 5% on both On Battery and Plugged in. I just left it that way.
