    Dear professor thank you for the explanation, may I know if the thick plate with the same dimension but thickness is(say 10mm) is subjected to lateral pressure on top then from where we can find the exact solution to compare with FEM results. I found the solution and way of the exact solution for a plate with a hole subjected to uniaxial and biaxial but I couldn't get the solution for plate with hole subjected to lateral pressure.

      Not sure but I would look in handbooks like this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roark's_Formulas_for_Stress_and_Strain and others

      @@EverBarbero Dear professor I checked in the book (Roark's_Formulas for stress and strain) and others too but couldn't find any valid solution for SCF or exact solution for rectangular simply supported plate with hole subjected to lateral pressure. May you give some light on that how can be verified FEM results for the same case.
