awesome! She said it! Teach people to be the boss. That's what bosses don't do because they don't want to be replaced. They hold tight to friendships, secret deals, and power.

IMPERDIBLE.

I wonder how productive people will be if they know that they might not have a job in a few months and not be able to feed there family if there is no security where you work. Being part of a team is nice but know I my family and I will not starve is better. That is just me.

+Joshua Klein People don't fear those companies because they might close, they join them because they might succeed, and they can be part of it. And if it fails, they know they can start at another job next Monday, no doubt.

but what about the millions of people who work entry level? who are totally told what to do and are not sure what to do? what if the task they need to accomplish is menial?

Hmmm... No security, no insurance, no assurance. Paid only when the job is done. A mercenary way of life. Good thinking. Let's see how successful she is with this concept.

+rosh181992 There's a study that showed that people who have unlimited vacation take less days off because they're always on edge.
With their system you don't know when you're redundant. I recommend you listen to Planet Money #646. Patty's interviewed in the episode.

najor666 what she means is that root of all innovations is her being able to kick everyone out at any time and this is way to a big suvcess
By the way the time she tried her hand in real innovation it ended in terrific flop and her being sacked unceremoniously
