Guys obviously lots of people already know this, that wasn't his point. This video was for people who don't know a lot about minecraft. I'm sure if a new player watched this they would enjoy it and want to try it out so stop being so critical. It was made a long time ago, 3 years to be exact, so obviously a lot is going to change and these are going to be old tricks. Calm down.

1. Smelts 100 items, so make sure to swap out the processed ones and add 36 new ones after a while. Also, thank goodness it no longer consumes the bucket now :D
2. This one had me stumped for ages until someone told me, heh.
6. Even better with gravel, if you want to prevent the conversion to flint.
8. neither do stairs, which I actually find a lot more useful for covering circuits.
9. I think the fact you can grow grass and flowers with bone meal on grass blocks is less known, actually.
putting ice under soulsand and cobweb on top is a freaking nightmare to get through

Actually grass is super effective against water
Hmmm.. a little clarification.
1. Lava in a furnace burns for 100 items, 12.5 times longer than coal or charcoal, and 1.3889 times longer than a coal block.
5. TNT in water (or lava) doesn't affect ANY block, only entities such as mobs and minecarts.
6. It also works with nearly every place-able block that isn't a full block (Slabs, trapdoors, etc.)
10. Doesn't have to be with a boat.
putting ice under soulsand,water above soulsand,and cobweb on top of water + slowness potion with potency of 5 = nightmare

W/ the jungle tree thing with the four saplings you can do it with any sapling (except dark oak for some reason) :D
Good demonstration for people new to minecraft. It doesn't really do much for me personally, but I won't dislike because I'm sure it did a lot for the newbies.

You can also use mushrooms under sand or gravel to break them like a torch would.

The only ones I didn't know were the Lava Bucket in the Furnace and the Ice under Soul Sand.

Time StyG Umm... this is 3 years after it came out, and eight months after it reached 1.0. This was 1.2.5, and there had been Beta, Alpha, etc before this.

I know all of this by accident while I was playing MC for the 1st time. When I got the game I played 15 minuts then I masterd it, most helpful for clearing plants was water but if you want it delited use lava.
I mean the things like seeds and flowers delited if you don't want it.

soul sand makes u slower period and also about every 1 knows almost everything shown on this vid
+Kayla Walker ur right and for me all i didnt know is 2 things ( the ice and soul trick (best trap for escapers ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) and the sand trick for skyblocks ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) but it actually lets say a good tricks for beginners as well the guy worked on it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

9. You are totally wrong. Grass is strong against water, but water here clears out frass faster, not good against.
I bet that half the comments are correcting your error when making the "submarine beds"

I know a really easy TNT launcher!! Make a 5 by 5 1 block high wall and fill it with water . Then put TNT in the middle, set it off and jump in!!
