I have made it a priority to read the bible everyday. Psalm 37:4 is my favourite, "delight in the Lord and HE will give you the desires of your heart". For too long I was seeking GOD for the desires of my heart, MISSING HE IS THE DESIRE OF MY HEART. Don't let something else SIT ON THE THRONE OF YOUR HEART, but the LIVING GOD!
Has anyone realized that ever since you got saved, you see more sins in your life and this world? Even sins on things that you wouldn’t even had known was sin? For example, before you was saved, you wouldn’t had cared less if you spent too much time playing games, but now you’re saved, it bothers you?

As an engineer, I did a commitment to Jesus Christ not to grow only in my professional career, but also in my spiritual journey as a consequence I committed myself to read 5 chapters of the Holy Bible everyday, it allows me to finish the whole Holy bible every year. It has been 4 years that I never miss a single day with my commitment. In the same way you need to have a strategic plan and be committed to it to get a great shaped body that attract people, in the same way you need to do to get a great shaped spirit that attract God's Favor Trust, Power, and intimidates the Kingdom of darkness...
I'm a 74 yr old white guy, 20 year military career, broken every law that God has given us. I don't know how but I was awakened but about a year and a half ago by something and realized that I was on the wrong side of GOD. I'M still learning but I know what is being given to all of us today by Father God the Holey Spirit and our Lord Jesus Christ was just proclaimed by the young lady we just watched.That was one of the most beautiful recitations I have ever heard.

You know I think a lot of people see you can't there's no one that sits on Earth there's no one here that says they consume God 24/7 you can't say that because for number one 24 hours in a day that is the time that you're supposed to give it to him we have to go to work if we didn't have anything else to do God would never say work God expects you to be doing something else God just doesn't you just not supposed to be doing something that's not godly
You sound just like me! There have been many times when I haven't read my Bible daily, even up to three weeks, or prayed fast at the end of the night. I've always kept a journal of when I read, what time, how long, chapters, etc. I feel so bad when I've missed 3 days or more of reading. I make excuses of my busy schedule, tired, etc. ●Then I started to think...... What if God treated me like I treat him sometimes? What if God was too busy to heal me when I'm sick, too busy to keep me employed with a good job, too busy to bless me financially, too busy to listen to me when no one else will, too busy to keep me and my family in good health and safe from all harm/danger, too busy to wipe away my tears and give me peace, mercy, and grace. Where would I be? How could I function without him?
This convicted me insanely hard. I try to pray daily and read but i have been living in the flesh because i have things i dont wanna let go of. But seeing that video made me really want to just trust God and let it all go and see where he leads me.
My suggestion is first thing read scripture and pray morning is what influences you the most throughout the day of that makes sense don’t scroll through social media or anything God first literally first when you wake up

All my entire life I've been a Christian. Normally most Christians are comfortable with the idea of saving 2 Gods. Which I was, couldn't let go of lots of things and it seemed normal. A year ago my friend gave a life to Jesus and everyone was saying she's out of her senses including me. She told me to completely give my life to Jesus i answered her, I already knew Jesus. I prayed like normal people ecc. A month ago something touched me. Am another person. I've given up things I thought were very important to me. I've released the fresh and the spirit are completely 2 different things. I've chosen the spirit. I now save 1 God, Jesus Christ. all my dream have been cancelled coz there was no God in them am not afraid to start. At this moment I want to sake God first. 🙏🏾
You have to know that as flesh, we desire to live in the flesh. You’re not going to want to let those things go… you have to ask Him to take your fleshly desires away from you, and to replace your will with His…and mean it from the heart…you have to literally be in your begging place, knowing that your salvation is not in your hands but His…
Before I even open my eyes, I thank my YHWH for waking me - and blessing me with another day. My hubby and I read God's Word and pray twice daily. We bless God for our meals, not just a rote prayer, but a truly thankful prayer. HE IS OUR PROVIDER. We have seen soooo many miracles over the years. I am NOT ASHAMED TO CALL HIM MY GOD!!! How often do we cry for God 'only' when we have hit rock bottom, we've tried everything else and come to the conclusion that we have nowhere else to turn...and then and only then do we reach out to Him pleading for help??? God wants to hear from you when you're having a good day, too! Not just when you need Him to get you out of a jam... I pray all of our hearts are convicted of this.
She just said the words that I said to my daughter yesterday, about God is not a genie. From this I know that it was The Holy Spirit speaking through me. FIRST FRUITS!! During Lent God put it upon my heart to give him my “first fruits” of the day which is my time. I read a daily reflection from the Bible and then pray the rosary BEFORE anything else happens in my day. You may not be Catholic like myself but you get the point my brothers and sisters in Christ!
I read a lot of books, from cover to cover, in my lifetime and finished them. I made a few attempts to read the bible, but never finished it! 2024, i made a New Year's Resolution to read the bible. i been reading it daily, i haven't missed a day. Some days, my morning starts off busy, i say my prayers, and i'll read only a chapter. Right now, i'm in Psalms, and i discover Psalm 23!!!! This is just the beginning, i'm still in the Old Testament, eventually, i'll get there

As a Muslim we pray 5 times a day. And still sometimes I feel I’m not doing enough. I just loved every word this young lady was sauin❤ without god we are nothing no matter what we have.
U feel like that because u doing a bunch of idle praying. No man can come to the Father but by Jesus Christ. Only way U can get to GOD is only through Jesus Christ. That’s the word. I’ve been having issues with this. Not to long ago I decided to put GOD first, work up, would read my Bible, pray, meditate on it, and it helped me live better that day. Lately I’ve been forgetting to do so in the morning, waking up and jumping on games. I need to reevaluate myself. Not to say I’ve stopped praying, or listening to the word or reading my Bible. But there are days I don’t read it at all.

This was exactly what I needed to hear right now. I, too, am guilty of putting God second or even third when he needs to be First Every Time. I spend an hour watching RUclips videos about God or things that pertain to God, but only spend the last 10 minutes (sometimes not even 10) reading the Bible before I leave my house for the day. Many years ago I subscribed to this daily scripture that gets emailed to me to keep myself accountable to reading the word every day. I usually get it in the mornings and there's this great feeling knowing im interacting with Hod's word every day, which should serve as a catalyst to take action accordingly. To God be the glory.
I'm guilty of starving my spirit 💔 think about it most people eat 3 times a day but how many times do we feed the spirit by reading the word of God, praying and fasting?
Beautifully said! I teared up watching this because it really made me question myself, am I really putting God first or is an idol in his spot? I do not worship any idols, Jesus Christ is my Lord & Savior. But being so caught up in everyday life like being a father, working I find myself not spending enough time with God like reading the scriptures, worshiping & praying. I pray every day but with my eyes open even when I’m driving or out in public or at work, but intimate prayer when I’m home is what I’m talking bout. Excellent!! I was once told by my sister, who was not a christian, that she saw how happy I was because I had God in my pocket! It struck me that she was seeing me use God as if he were a small god. I really was thankful for that insight. One thing I try to do is start the day, before my feet hit the floor with praise, thanking and talking to God about the amazing God that He Is!!

FIRST FRUITS!! During Lent God put it upon my heart to give him my “first fruits” of the day which is my time. I read a daily reflection from the Bible and then pray the rosary BEFORE anything else happens in my day. You may not be Catholic like myself but you get the point my brothers and sisters in Christ!
I read a lot of books, from cover to cover, in my lifetime and finished them. I made a few attempts to read the bible, but never finished it! 2024, i made a New Year's Resolution to read the bible. i been reading it daily, i haven't missed a day. Some days, my morning starts off busy, i say my prayers, and i'll read only a chapter. Right now, i'm in Psalms, and i discover Psalm 23!!!! This is just the beginning, i'm still in the Old Testament, eventually, i'll get there

Wow, it takes something as simple as this basic message to convict my heart!! I pray for the clarity in my heart and mind to follow His Will and not my own!!!
As a Muslim we pray 5 times a day. And still sometimes I feel I’m not doing enough. I just loved every word this young lady was sauin❤ without god we are nothing no matter what we have.
U feel like that because u doing a bunch of idle praying. No man can come to the Father but by Jesus Christ. Only way U can get to GOD is only through Jesus Christ. That’s the word. U have to pray in Jesus Name only. Even if u pray 1k times GOD word still stands. U have to get to the Father through JESUS CHRIST only!!! And u will die in your sins if u don’t accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior

I’ve been having issues with this. Not to long ago I decided to put GOD first, work up, would read my Bible, pray, meditate on it, and it helped me live better that day. Lately I’ve been forgetting to do so in the morning, waking up and jumping on games. I need to reevaluate myself. Not to say I’ve stopped praying, or listening to the word or reading my Bible. But there are days I don’t read it at all.

This was exactly what I needed to hear right now. I, too, am guilty of putting God second or even third when he needs to be First Every Time. I spend an hour watching RUclips videos about God or things that pertain to God, but only spend the last 10 minutes (sometimes not even 10) reading the Bible before I leave my house for the day. I usually get it in the mornings and there's this great feeling knowing im interacting with Hod's word every day, which should serve as a catalyst to take action accordingly. To God be the glory.

Beautifully said! I teared up watching this because it really made me question myself, am I really putting God first or is an idol in his spot? I do not worship any idols, Jesus Christ is my Lord & Savior. But being so caught up in everyday life like being a father, working I find myself not spending enough time with God like reading the scriptures, worshiping & praying. I pray every day but with my eyes open even when I’m driving or out in public or at work, but intimate prayer when I’m home is what I’m talking bout. I will fix that but I appreciate this young God fearing warrior for the testimony & reminder to put God first 🙏🏽

Excellent!! I was once told by my sister, who was not a christian, that she saw how happy I was because I had God in my pocket! It struck me that she was seeing me use God as if he were a small god. I really was thankful for that insight. One thing I try to do is start the day, before my feet hit the floor with praise, thanking and talking to God about the amazing God that He Is!!
