I went to dinner with friends a few years ago and they were confused because I dont smoke or drink and they were like “so you dont drink or smoke, you dont like to have fun?” We are almost 40, if you cant have fun without drinking snd smoking something is wrong somewhere. I’m reading the Old Testament and love seeing how God ordained festivals and celebrations. He said blow the trumpet not only for war, but also in times of gladness (Numbers 10). What’s amazing about spending time with God is he’ll change your idea of fun. GOOD, CLEAN FUN is my favorite and has always been even when I wasn’t in relationship with God. Clubbing never felt right. These things are fun: walking in the park, checking out a new restaurant, learning a new instrument, taking a cooking class, going to an amusement/water park, exercising, listening to an orchestra, going to a museum, skating, bowling, traveling and seeing this beautiful world He created, playing with a child, completing a puzzle, catching up with friends, cooking a new recipe, being a tourist in your own city, etc. Literally anything can be fun and it doesn’t have to be sinful. We can glorify God with our hobbies and leisure time. Also, those who follow Him on Earth will have the most fun in the long run. Let that marinate.

That’s true but like she said it’s one of the main ways that it comes in. The most hyper sexual people how been exposed to sex or sexual abuse very young as I did at a young age.
Somehow the door for self rejection was opened when I was very young. With God calling me to be brave and have no doubt or fear, I’ve been walking out of that web of lies. It’s been extremely hard.

My definition of fun has definitely changed. I am talking paintball shooting, botanical garden walking, salsa dancing, there is so much to do and be creative about.
I have SOOOO much fun walking with the Lord! I was in the world for 40 years and fun hits differently when you walk with God. LIFE hits differently! I'm able to REALLY enjoy myself and have good, wholesome, meaningful fun. I smile wider, laugh harder, and have more than fun, I have JOY!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Joy that comes with peace and not regrets. We can fun. God gave us so much fun to have that is great for our spirit. Swimming, gardening, fishing, working with our hands, playing with our children, musical instruments, animals, running, walking, some sports, and of course our relationship with Him. There is more I think we forget but if you look back on the innocence of childhood we had so much fun without destruction. Playing with snow, walking in the rain, coloring, making snacks, reading, writing, jumping rope, hanging out with family, building things, and lots of giggling. So as an adult we can do the adult version of these things. Reading the Bible and praying are fun in that it is pleasing to the spirit to get closer to God. Nick just recently had fun when his prayer was answered at the hospital. Two pushes to a bundle of joy. I'm working on changing my fun meter and had to focus on all the aforementioned to remind myself of the type of fun God gifted us in the natural world that is NOT sinful.
The problem is people's definition/view of fun. When we are truly converted, the world's version of fun no longer holds an appeal. When flesh is in control, fun will be fleshly and worldly.

Tyson Tiph! I’ve learned so much from her, the conviction has been real. Brought me to a new level of repentance and deliverance under her ministry. I will say her approach can be jarring and sound a bit harsh at times, but sometimes we need that corrective kick in the butt. Truly strengthened my walk with God and my discernment of world snares like “fun,” great interview! ❤ I have so much fun being God’s daughter and knowing I am safe and protected, my fun comes from finding new worship music, advancing in hiking, camping & biking skills, finishing projects I started, and learning the word of God!! He changes the desires of our heart. Amen! 🙏🏽

Wow I have a similar story about being called to wake up, one morning I heard God tell me to get up and pray and I was moving slow and taking my time I heard Him again say get up and pray and I literally said in my mind I don't want to I'm tired and not even 10 seconds later a hug cockroach crawled across my neck/ jaw, I jumped up so fast knocking it off and I swear it was like I heard God chuckle and say I bet you will listen next time and now when I'm woke up in the early mornings I hop up so fast...All Glory to God

I truly am blessed by the ministries The Most High God has entrusted in her care. And I am blessed by the way The Most High God teaches His Word and wisdom through her. In this walk we experience a real peace when enjoying this life. The enjoyment that comes with this life is never removed from The Most High's peace, nor will His enjoyment place us in a position to compromise our walk with Him or our covenant relationship we are building with Him. Why is fun used like a pejorative. As if all fun is secular. Don't people like to hike anymore, have a chill family day with food and kids and games. What has the world come to. I'm a troubled human and a fun day for me is hiking and celebrating milestones with my mom, siblings and their kids. I don't have a spouse or kids of my own. But my fun is family. My family ain't always a bed of roses. But that is where the beauty of life lies. In the simple things there's fun.

One thing I didn't agree with is when she states " rules and regulations of God". When you enter into a covenant with the Lord, it's based on Love not rules. Just as with a marriage. Yes, you can cheat, but you chose not to because of your love for that person. You do the things that you know pleases Him out of love and wanting to please him. Not because He told you too. This is where others fall short, build a relationship with Christ, and you won't have to follow any rules, you will naturally love Him and want to please Him and be lead by The Holy Spirit and all things will fall into place.

My definition of fun has definitely changed. I am talking paintball shooting, botanical garden walking, salsa dancing, there is so much to do and be creative about.
I have SOOOO much fun walking with the Lord! I was in the world for 40 years and fun hits differently when you walk with God. LIFE hits differently! I'm able to REALLY enjoy myself and have good, wholesome, meaningful fun. I smile wider, laugh harder, and have more than fun, I have JOY!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

We can fun. God gave us so much fun to have that is great for our spirit. Swimming, gardening, fishing, working with our hands, playing with our children, musical instruments, animals, running, walking, some sports, and of course our relationship with Him. There is more I think we forget but if you look back on the innocence of childhood we had so much fun without destruction. Playing with snow, walking in the rain, coloring, making snacks, reading, writing, jumping rope, hanging out with family, building things, and lots of giggling. So as an adult we can do the adult version of these things. Reading the Bible and praying are fun in that it is pleasing to the spirit to get closer to God. Nick just recently had fun when his prayer was answered at the hospital. Two pushes to a bundle of joy. I'm working on changing my fun meter and had to focus on all the aforementioned to remind myself of the type of fun God gifted us in the natural world that is NOT sinful.

Tyson Tiph! I’ve learned so much from her, the conviction has been real. Brought me to a new level of repentance and deliverance under her ministry. I will say her approach can be jarring and sound a bit harsh at times, but sometimes we need that corrective kick in the butt. Truly strengthened my walk with God and my discernment of world snares like “fun,” great interview! ❤ I have so much fun being God’s daughter and knowing I am safe and protected, my fun comes from finding new worship music, advancing in hiking, camping & biking skills, finishing projects I started, and learning the word of God!! He changes the desires of our heart. Amen! 🙏🏽

Wow I have a similar story about being called to wake up, one morning I heard God tell me to get up and pray and I was moving slow and taking my time I heard Him again say get up and pray and I literally said in my mind I don't want to I'm tired and not even 10 seconds later a hug cockroach crawled across my neck/ jaw, I jumped up so fast knocking it off and I swear it was like I heard God chuckle and say I bet you will listen next time and now when I'm woke up in the early mornings I hop up so fast...All Glory to God

It is as you said. The fun that most people are accustomed to is destructive in nature. Even comedy is destructive in nature because the scriptures tells us out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. And the scriptures also tells us to speak that which is edifying to the soul.

I think the question you should ask yourself is, ‘ what do I consider fun?’ This will cause you to think and possibly go through the pros and cons of what you are contemplating doing. Will this please God, will this cause someone with me to sin, do I have the spirit of self control operating within me, will this be a blessing or a curse. Acknowledge God in all you do and He will direct your path, Amen

I have much respect for this beautiful woman of God. I truly am blessed by the ministries The Most High God has entrusted in her care. And I am blessed by the way The Most High God teaches His Word and wisdom through her. She is as sweet and loving as she wants to be, but she is not for the foolishness. She is very upfront about this walk and she stands her ground when it comes to giving people the truth. I truly respect that about her and her walk. She does not play with her walk with The Most High God. And I find it to be a blessing to be graced by beautiful souls like this. It keeps me inspired to persevere and push through the opposition and warfare I face alot in this walk.
And we can have fun. But as you have shared, some believers have the wrong concept about fun. Because they try to involve it with the carnal desires of the flesh. And there is nothing "fun" about fulfilling the carnal and sinful desires of a person's flesh.
In this walk we experience a real peace when enjoying this life. The enjoyment that comes with this life is never removed from The Most High's peace, nor will His enjoyment place us in a position to compromise our walk with Him or our covenant relationship we are building with Him. Nor will it cause us to create room for the value of others to be compromised.

Why is fun used like a pejorative. As if all fun is secular. Don't people like to hike anymore, have a chill family day with food and kids and games. What has the world come to. I'm a troubled human and a fun day for me is hiking and celebrating milestones with my mom, siblings and their kids. I don't have a spouse or kids of my own. But my fun is family. My family ain't always a bed of roses. But that is where the beauty of life lies. In the simple things there's fun.

One thing I didn't agree with is when she states " rules and regulations of God". When you enter into a covenant with the Lord, it's based on Love not rules. Just as with a marriage. Yes, you can cheat, but you chose not to because of your love for that person. You do the things that you know pleases Him out of love and wanting to please him. Not because He told you too. This is where others fall short, build a relationship with Christ, and you won't have to follow any rules, you will naturally love Him and want to please Him and be lead by The Holy Spirit and all things will fall into place.
