Thanks for sending out this review so promptly, missed out on the batch 1 after trying at my local whisky festival. Not this year, bought whilst watching your review 😂👍
Another great video highlighting this fantastic distillery. After your Marsala wine cask review I bought a bottle of that immediately then went back to buy the Cognac finish. I think their standard peated version is one of the best inland peated whiskies so based on this review I think it has to be a buy ! Quite honestly I would vote for the distillery and their bottlings in every available OSWA category. They are definitely a future best distillery 😃
Interesting take on that. I made myself comparison of Batch 1 peated vs regular peated and too my disappointment the difference was smaller than I anticipated. Obviously I my expectation was biased due to Torabhaig release 1 vs Toraghaig Batch strength where the latter is much much better whisky in every dimension. Make no mistake 1770 Peated Cask Strength is still damn good whisky.
Pleased to get your bottle and hide it in the second row of my shelf to make it last!
That's awesome! May it serve you for years to come
Great video. So lucky to have picked up the NNW bottle. Has got me super interested in what is happening up in Glasgow. Kanpai!
Definitely got saurons eye firmly fixed on 1770

I do like to try to get these new releases out as soon as possible!
Cheers, Vin. This sounds great. Gotta track down a bottle of Glasgow somewhere.
I really hope you can. Such impressive liquid

Sounds like you're a super fan just like me! I honestly think this Peated CS is one of their best (2nd only to my bottling of course 🤣)

That's interesting, as I found the CS to be better in every way. But that's whisky I guess
