I hope the new episodes have the humor and heart they have achieved in past episodes like the sting. Make me love the show again make me laugh make me feel that pulse that heart.......Bring them back to life!!!!! The show is at its best when when it makes me feel the characters are alive.
If they have the same writers and everything (and even with new writers on board I would hope they watched all the episodes themselves) I’m confident these new episodes will be fun! Might take a bit to regain their footing but yeah.

Imo it was consistently great up until the episode where professor Farnsworth joins that racing gang. That was the first time I noticed something felt off.
It’s like the show has never touched on contemporary issues before. Nothing on internet piracy, the birther movement, gay marriage etc. This episode I Dated a Robot looks interesting, I bet it in no way is about Napster, Decision 3012 won’t have any political commentary nor will Proposition Infinity. If you use the word woke like that, please stop using it unless the context is the past tense of the verb to wake.
