    In Australia there's none of this having multiple cards from the one bank/company - its one personal card and one business card (if you have a business) per bank/company. Only in the USA are people allowed to hold multiple level cards with the one bank/company... weird.

      Never heard of this. In Europe its allowed everywhere, too. Maybe some Australian law?

    I'm working on the SUB for a Amex Business Platinum right now so that's at the top of my wallet. Then I have the Amex Gold for dining and groceries and the Cap One Venture X for 2x points on everything else. I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred but not using it right now. I also have a Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton card for when I'm booking or staying at those hotels.
    Great video! Thank you!

      These are all great picks! I’m thinking about getting the business platinum next, but definitely a hard pill to swallow with another high annual fee. Thanks for sharing.

    How can you have multiple cards from the same supplier and get the sign up bonuses?
    Amex in the UK make you ditch existing cards and wait 18 months before you can sign up again and qualify

      Either a different card (Ink Preferred, I k Unlimited, Ink Cash, etc.) or a different user (either me or my wife in our case) so no overlaps. Hopefully this helps clarify, thanks for the great question!

    Plat belongs in a travel wallet. Only time I need the physical card is for Centurion lounge access or Amex offer merchants that don't take Apple Pay.

      So true…that’s probably why my platinum card looks brand new and my venture X card looks pretty rough around the edges…literally!

    • @DanielRall
      @DanielRall 5 месяцев назад

      How long has it been since you've needed a physical Platinum card for lounge access? I've only been carrying one for ~5yrs, and the last time I needed the physical card was about that long ago, at a non-Centurion lounge in Europe.

      @@DanielRall Vegas requested to see in Labor Day weekend 2023. August 2023 LGA required I pay to bring my kid with the Plat. Delta always requires you pay for additional peeps with an Amex Plat or Delta Amex card. So I have a travel wallet with hotel / airline cards - things you only use when you're travelling. 25% off on snacks using airline co-branded cards. Point multipliers at hotels.

    How often do you end up needing to churn the card. The signup bonuses are great but once you've burned through those for vacations the cards become less valuable and to get back ahead means finding another signup credit offering. I'm assuming you stagger the signups/referrals for 2P mode and get one, keep for 6-12 months, cancel, pick up another and just rinse and repeat all the while holding 3-5 main players?

    In my Apple Magsafe wallet I carry the CSP, AmEx Gold and AmEx BPP (for business spend). I am using the CSP until I reach the welcome bonus. I will replace it with the Freedom Unlimited until I get another card that I need to meet a welcome bonus.

      I really could use the Chase Ink Unlimited for when I need more Chase points (vs the AmEx BPP) for my business spend.

    Thanks so much for all this information. It's super helpful and enjoyable to watch!! I've started using some of your strategies and my husband and I have opened a few new cards. I just have a question about how you combine points with your wife. I've seen you talk about the 2 player mode in other videos. I can't seem to figure out if I open a Chase business card and my husband has the sapphire preferred, is there a way to combine our points either on the chase portal or if we wanted to transfer to a partner like Hyatt?? Can we link both cards to one Hyatt account? Thanks!!

    I love your channel and I’ll also be in London later this year (free trip with Chase SP points)! I wish it’s multipliers were better (like 3X in all groceries, not just online) but I’m glad to have the travel protection.
    What do you think of my set up:
    -Citi Custom Cash for 5X back on groceries
    -Bilt for points on rent and 2X on rent day (I have cell phone, Comcast, etc scheduled for the 1st for double points so it’s my fake “catch all card.”
    -Chase Sapphire Preferred for 5X on travel booked on Chase, 3X on streaming, 2X on other travel/transit and for their travel protection?

      Perhaps it's needed for the extended, non-Priority Pass network?

    I carry the Venture by Capital One, Freedom Flex by Chase, and the Discover IT card by Discover. Anything that I should get next???

    • @Scott-td4fd
      @Scott-td4fd 24 дня назад

      A Savor One would give you a powerful Capital One duo for travel points, particularly if you can go up to the Venture X.
      A Citi Custom Cash goes well with the Discover and Chase Freedom Flex on the cash back side. You would also have your foot in the door with Citi and Chase if you ever wanted more cards with them (to allow switching from cash back to travel points).

    Newbie here - love your channel! I have a question...I have the Chase Sapphire Preferred card and as of now have about 16k points there. I have a United MP account with 95k miles, and my husband has a Miles & More account with 86k miles. We may be traveling to Germany next year, and were thinking of upping our mileage game to snag a biz class award. We were looking at the United cards since we already have some of those miles, which we could use on United or Lufthansa. Do you think this is the best way to go? He’s already an authorized user on my Sapphire card. Thanks for your help!

    Starting to get into the game of travel hacking as a 26 year old. Currently have the United milage plus (first cc and got when I was 18) but don’t love it so I’m trying to find other cards to match up for travel points. Any advise on the United milage plus card and a good pairing if I don’t want to retire the card? I love international travel so being able to get as many points as possible and being able to fly first class is my goal! I went to Cambodia last year for nearly half the price because of it but definitely need a good pairing for future trips down the line

    • @DailyDrop

      That definitely is a great duo! I do not rent, so Bilt doesn’t make sense for my wallet, but it definitely is one that others who do rent could & should use.

    This is great advice! Now if I could just figure out how to use my 100,000 Delta miles. If I purchase through the Delta website, I lose my 5X miles for airfare purchases on the Venture X which I have a hard time giving up. I may just keep saving those miles until I have enough for free tickets somewhere domestic and that would be worth the pain of losing my Venture X credit! Either way I am still coming out ahead with the great advice from this channel.

    Can you use a business card on non-business expenses?

    • @LK_EBM
      @LK_EBM 5 месяцев назад +1

      It will go against the bank's terms and conditions, but you can.

    • @DailyDrop
      @DailyDrop  5 месяцев назад

      Technically you can but definitely not a good idea for a lot of reasons. Mainly, doing so pierces the corporate veil which could cause a pretty big mess in the event of an audit. Best to just keep personal and business transactions separate.

    • @Tony36847
      @Tony36847 5 месяцев назад

      @@DailyDroppiercing the corporate veil has nothing to do with an audit. One has to do with legal liability in case you get sued and the other relates to taxes. Also, I promise you the IRS doesn't care which credit card you use for which expenses as long as you only deduct business expenses
