Took me almost a year to read all of the SAO light novels from SAO 1-24, SAO Alternative GGO 1-10 and SAO Progressive 1-8. Took me that long cause I also read SAO Girl's Ops from 1-7, SAO Hollow Realization manga adaptation 1-6 and also read the 86-Eighty Six light novels 1-10. It was worth every minute of it!!😎
I was just thinking this the other day, what great timing. I appreciate you taking the time to answer these questions and put all this info together. The fact that you also have direct links to the products is way cool, too. When I can, I will definitely be continuing Progressive and reading Alicization, as some of the stuff talked about sounds super neat and I want to check it out myself.
Hey bro can you please tell how to know about the story after the war of underworld , where kirito , Alice and Asuna again went to underworld ( shown in last episode of season 4 ) 😢😢😢🥺🥺🥺🥺... Please do reply
I can't agree more with reading the Alicization novels. I've read every single book in the main series and in Progressive, while my brother is really lazy about reading and didn't want to do that. When we watched the Alicization season of the anime together, the amount of times we had to pause the episode so I could explain to him some things the anime completely glossed over was insane. Personally, my recommendation for newcomers would be "just go straight for the books and maybe if you feel like it check the anime later", because the anime has a lot of adaptation problems and frankly, the books are much superior (though I understand reading so much content isn't for everyone). Anyways, great video as usual, I'm sure it will help plenty of fans ! :D
after watching and reading sao it reminds me of many other titles like harry potter that the movies/shows skipped over crucial details in stead extending out the show like naruto
Here's an introductory video for Unital Ring's first volume: ruclips.net/video/aCMPPtcLc00/видео.html You can search for Unital Ring on the channel for a lot more (including spoilery) videos.
How to help someone who only watched SAO once and just take what people say of Reki Pacing does get brought up a lot but someone does exaggerate from the floor 22 stuff with fishing to the clear of the game That was how it happened, right?
So far, we are getting Progressive movies. Unital Ring is far from complete, thus you should not hold your breath for a weekly anime season covering that.

I strongly recommend AGGO. However you won't get the same feel of SAO, it is a completely different approach to narrative as I mentioned in one of my older videos: ruclips.net/video/sdLypfRWjks/видео.html The main issue we have with AGGO is whether it will prove itself non-canon or actually do something in regards to Unital Ring.
@@Gamerturk well I hope it's not gonna be non-canon. I'd prefer to see the connections being made in Unital Ring or next arcs Kawahara will make. It would be interesting to see how Reki deals with Shigsawa characters in main series and all the interactions it would create
I definitely recommend reading them. I am nearly caught up to them (1 volume late), and they are really fun to me. To be fair, I did find volumed 1-5 more enjoyable compared to 6-10, but the latter are still enjoyable.
Chapters have been unavailable for a while due to the fraudulent Copyright Strikes continuously being issued on my channel by Kadokawa since my remonetization on my Alicization Explained videos. I have been hard at work clearing them up and will likely fully get clean up everything in the next month, as I am forced to deal with them 2-3 at a time.
They will not, since those are not official Light Novel releases but rather movie and Bluray release bonuses. The same thing happened with stories featured in v22 Kiss & Fly. It is a compilation of 4 limited edition stories and once it was published as part of the official novels, Yen Press translated it when the time came to v22.
@@Gamerturk What was the point to add new characters of Eiji and Yuna in Underworld of the anime if backstories never going to be translated in english,it just absurd. What is the Mito story, is it going to translate in english of limited edition in the west?
@@reierkeemil4784 It's not about being translated or not, it's about them being limited edition bonuses. Even Japan no longer has access to them, aside from those who grabbed the limited releases. As for the Mito story, you need to ask Aniplex USA for that. Yen Press is not responsible for Bluray stories to begin with, it's Aniplex who refuses to provide said bonuses in the west.
Is there anywhere i can obtain digital copies of the Japanese versions of the light novels not yet released in English? It would be really simple to use AI to translate them.
You can purchase them through Japanese retailers. We do not recommend MTL due to the amount of stupidity, mistranslation and misinterpretation it leads to without exception.
@@Gamerturk i love playing with neural networks. Translation AI will eventually destroy language barriers. It would be a fun project to use one to translate the light novels in Reki Kawahara's own writing style. After another round of Google searches i still cannot find a digital copy. I can find paperbacks but when i click a link for a digital copy it leads me to a pre order page for the English version (specifically unital ring 4)
@@Gamerturk I want to know where the story goes after the anime which i know is unital ring. But it’s honestly getting confusing because the story keeps repeating the same process a little idk. I think the author should wrap the story in a few years
