The first Gatormade Mobile Relief Shower Trailers were built to assist in the cleanup efforts left in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. This tragic, natural disaster left many people in Louisiana displaced and homeless; without access to hot showers and clean laundry.
Gatormade manufactures many different sizes of shower and laundry trailers ranging from one to twenty shower stalls. Each shower stall is completely private with their own outside door, dressing area, pull-out steps, bench or fold down seat and a place to hang clothing.
Each of our shower units have air conditioners for hot, humid days and heat strips for cooler weather. Hot water is heated by on-demand LP gas water heaters. Our trailers are built with a plumbing chase behind the shower stalls, allowing the plumbing and electric to be accessible at all times. All units also feature quick drain ball valves for effortless winterizing in cooler climates.
Our Laundry rooms have one or two washers and dryer units in each mobile relief shower trailer.
Gatormade manufactures our shower trailers with walk-on roof; allowing greater snow load, longer trailer life and ease of repair. Our trailers also have an electric landing gear for effortless hook-ups and parking.
