I love how there’s not too much speaking. Tamara has a beautiful voice but the spaces allow you enough time to recognise those feelings and let them pass. Thank you and wishing you all a wonderful day
Just the right mix. I've seen other meditations where it's 40 minutes but only 5 minutes of voice. You need a balance.
"This too shall pass." My mother often said this. It was helpful to hear that today. Thank you.
Just a gentle reminder that it’s okay if you couldn’t meditate and relax like you wanted to. It’s okay if thoughts kept popping up. Tomorrow is a new day and you can try again. All that matters is that you took the time to try. Be proud of yourself for doing your best.

I liked the whole “rise/pass” thing and how it relates to both emotions and breath.
I listen every morning with a cup of coffee, sitting in my bed.
Dear Tamara, this was my favorite session! It really changed my thinking and allowed me to accept any negative emotion as something that is passing and that it wouldn't be with me forever.

I'm really enjoying these uploads. I think they're good not only as taster sessions for those without the app, but also good for those who have the app who can't afford the subscription! I started deeply looking into meditation as someone who struggles with a constantly wandering mind since early university days. Some days are easy but most days are incredibly hard to be present constantly, especially as a student. Calm's audio on meditation has genuinely helped me become a better person and more importantly actively try to be a mindful person.
Days are not easy but its the littles steps consistently that count!
I definitely need this meditation, lots of changes in my life & learning to accept them is hard - thank you ☺️

Thank you for this episode. I’ve just started my journey into meditation couple of days ago, the sessions have really helped me be myself and be in moment when all I used to think about was the future.

I have the App and paid for extras, worth every penny. If I wake during the night I play one of the Sleep sessions and always fall asleep 😴. Calm is absolutely better than the rest!
